It's one crazy, twisted plot now. I think it's been getting better and better since about Chapter 6. Alot of things happened that I've kinda been waiting to see (Piro and Largo visit the cave of 3vil for a real life 'round two' with Miho...). Plus, the story is becoming more character driven, and the humor in it shows up naturally instead of it being forced. Fred's art has gotten alot better and his drawings are filled with stunning detail (shocking when you compare them to the older strips...). I think his efforts to sit back a moment and 'find' his characters (Yuki for instance) have been quite successful.
(He needs to get Miho some better dialogue though. However her last confrontation with Inspector Masamichi was -good- and so very much the Miho I know and love.)

It is improving indeed. It makes sense, the whole thing is a learning experience as fred goes in writing and drawing and fusing the two together. After all, recall that this WAS originaly a practice and experience gainer for Warmth. 3nodding

Yep, I can't WAIT to see Warmth. When Fred's left to his own devices with 'teh drama' he does some wonderful stuff and makes his best art.

I'm sooo glad that Largo has a slightly more weighty role now ... not so much ... HOMIGOD ZOMBIES!!! Anymore ... not that I don't want anymore of that ... it's just that it's nice that there's other stuff with him too.

Yes, I've realized that as the conclusion draws nearer, the story unfolds more and more.
Questions which arise: Who will get together first, if they ever: Largo and Erika or Piro and Kimiko? - It seems Erika and Largo are more likely to do anything about their feelings for each other; both Kimiko and Piro are too timid to actually express how they feel for the other, but with Largo and Erika, we don't have to worry about that as much.
What is Miho? - 3v1l m1n10n? Queen of Darkness? PS2 Sims doll accessory? Orphan? Magical Girl? Otaku? Perkigoth? Or is she just a sick girl with a lot of problems?
Does Yuki have Magical Girl powers? - We know her mother, Meimi, has Magical Girl powers. We've already seen a glimpe of her powers when she saved Miho from the table after Ping dropped her during Largo's rampage on the Muffin Kart. ( rofl ) Perhaps Yuki's powers will fully awaken later on in the comic?
What's the deal with the Sonoda family complex? - Why was Erika told by Hitoshi to stay away from Masamichi's family, and Masamichi told by his brother to keep his children away from Erika? Plus, what do Masamichi and Meimi know about Miho that we don't?
How will Kimiko's career turn out? What will happen if Kimiko goes to her day job at Anne Millers? Now Sayuri and Matsui know Kimiko can sing, will they persuade her into a J-pop career as well? Will Kimiko follow the same path as Erika, which ended in her loosing the person she was most close to?
