Bite stamped the the poor creatures neck with a smile and snarl. The damn thing! It had taken far too long to catch and probably wasn't going to be much of a meal anyway. She cursed and then picked the dead squirrel up and threw it against a tree for good measure. The blood made a rather pretty pattern on bark as the carcass slid down. That made her grin so she walked or to play with the blood and in essence make the tree hers. She wrote with her nose, in blood, "this tree belongs to Bite". And when it was done she huffed in satisfaction. Perhaps it was s tad morbid, but she liked it. Let someone else be mortified. Because normal kimeti were always feeling something stupid. But, and she reminded herself this with a firm mental shake, they were stupid creatures. There was nothing to be done about it and it deserved no more thought. She picked up her now mostly blood drained meal and near skipped off to a nice quiet spot to eat it.
