At first, I thought this was a good thing.. I can safely say I was deffinatly the first one in my school.. possibly even county to by the champloo hoodie. Hot topic also has other samurai champloo apparel, like t-shirts. They've been geetting a lot of anime stuff in lately not just samurai champloo, fma shoes, naruto shirts... At first I went on a little..yay! trip.. until people who have no idea what these things are start buying them and wearing them! Then they call me stupid and copying for wearing them?! A person who ATUALLY knows what it is...
The prevention methods:
since this event -growls- I've bought all of my anime apparel either from an online japanese store or at anime conventions.
Although i'm still a bit ticked at these people.. I know i shouldn't care that much it's not that big a deal.. but still.. Anyways most of the people who buy these shirts.. don't even know what you're wearing is the same show.. and it saves you from wanting to throw red juice all over them so it's different.

ya know I never been to that store. I mean there's at least three of them in my area but I never been in one. Maybe I should finally check it out. sad

unfortunately, that's what happened to Tim Burton's creations too. People just started buying them 'cause they look oh so cute. They don't even know Nightmare Before Christmas is an actual movie. But such is the ignorant minds of the masses.
Anyway, yeah, i do have a samurai champloo hoodie heart it's the smallest size i could find (it's for men, so i still have to pull the arms so i can see my hands *sighs*) but i still luff it.

Yeah mines pretty big too. The smallest they had was a large and it's like a dress on me but oh well.. mugen's on it lol.

Hot Topic has lost its meaning almost completely. It's now emo central. stare That and 'cliche black shirts that insult other people and/or question the wearers sanity' central.
And their anime clothes don't make me happy. They have clothes for anime that have been butchered mercilessly by the preteen fanbases, and now that they've started on Samurai Champloo, I'm frightened.

well eather way ppl r gettin the point across that they love the show, at least think its cool, or just feel like wasting they're moey on something to make fun of. eather way us SC lovers get the money and really care so who give a FLYING RATS A** any way??

i don't really shop at hot topic and i don't see any Samurai Champloo stuff whenever i go in there but if their selling it then it's cool with me
