Hey there! I guess just maybe mention when you started reading Jhonen's work, how you were exposed to it, etc. Here I go XD
Welp, I don't put my name out on the internet, mostly because I am EXTREMELY paranoid someone will find out where I live.... moving on. Just call me Sandy, after my old username. Anyway, the first time I was exposed to Jhonen was the TV show, Invader Zim, obviously, in 3rd grade. Nobody else in my class really watched it though. But I was a wee one and didn't wonder about who made it. It wasn't until 8th grade that I was watching some videos on Youtube and someone made a AMV about Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. Of course, I was interested and clicked upon it. I think it went to a song by Korn I do believe. Not sure. But yeppers. After that, I started looking up everything about it and soon led up to my first purchase of the comic book, JtHM. Dear ********, I remember being so excited to get it in the mail. I later found out that Zim was made by the same guy which only made me love it MORE. Yepp. That's how my love for JtHM started xD but I have equal love for my I Feel Sick comic, and Squee biggrin

Yay! I'm that paranoid too!
Anyway, just call me Amaranth or Ama (they're not my real names anyways). I was exposed to Jhonen Vasquez by Invader Zim back in the 7th or 8th grade. By sophomore year, I began to watch it again and I checked out the creator and his other works. I was very amazed, and I decided to read JTHM. I only read part of it, but I loved it right away, and I checked his other work. I became a fan of Jhonen since then. He has become one of my artists. I think he's creative and hilarious. I'm a fan of dark humor, so this was goody for me.
But, I feel bad for him because of the reason Invader Zim was cancelled by Nickelodeon. I think he's over it now, but I still feel bad for him.

but I watched Invader Zim when I was little, but since I have a terrible memory I dont know how much I watched it. I started watching it again when nick played it for the whole month of march, and I was obsessed. I learned about JV's comic books when I was watching Invader Zim videos on Youtube. I read the comic and fell in love. >.<

i'm half goth,also Mexican-American my birthday is on october 22 My friends say i'm emo cuz i like Black and my dog scratched my wrist....BUT WHATEVER! X3

I am almost obsessed with Gir and johnny, so much that I cosplay as em once and a while (though I am a girl)
Ive been diagnosed with ADD and Skitzophrenia... no I dont hear voices but there are people who tell me to do some real bad stuff.
I watch horror and action movies, Going to see cloverfeild 2 next year! Love the movie halloween too!
Ive read JtHM cover to cover about eleventy times and I find the number four (1-2-3-4) confusing, I watch anime alot too...
I am a goth/emo person though I have a quite peppy personality, just cuse im dark doesnt mean im depressed! WOOH!

You may all call me Ukarii! Or Ciel... or any other nickname you happen to come up with for me... I'd like to say I'm a pretty nice person most of the time. I'm big into Jhonen's works and a wide range of anime. I have an obsession with art and role-playing, so if I run across one of them and it interests me, you may not hear from me for a while.
Since most people are naming these off, I am diagnosed with ADHD, bipolar, a high possibility for schizophrenia, anemia, and a wide spectrum of other mental disorders that I'm not going to name off unless someone seriously wants to know~. I'm not some stereotypical crazy person, though, so don't even...

Hey, guys! I just joined. (:
You can call me Near, if you please. I actually came upon Johnny the Homicidal Maniac before anything else. I saw fan-art of it and wondered what it was. The first time I read it through I was a quite intrigued and a bit disgusted, but I grew to love it dearly. Now I also own Squee's Wonderful Big Giant Book of Unspeakable Horrors, and wonder what I should get next...
I've seen all Invader Zim episodes now, too. I started watching it because my friends loved it so much, and didn't realize it was created by JV until the credits said so. I laughed out loud.
I try to keep up with Jhonen's twitter, and have read some of his blog entries. He scares me a bit, to be honest, but I admire him none the less. :F
