I am Called: Jun Shen (Jun)
I've lived for: 18 years
My Eyes are: Green
My Hair is: Dark Brown
I Bend: Earth
My Home is: Gaoling, A well off town within the Mountain Ranges of Southern Earth Kingdom.
My Weapon or Tool of Choice: Just two small knives at the small of my back.
My Reason for Fighting: To get revenge, of course.
Background: It started with taxes. Which is almost where all my family problems start, so why should this time be any different. As a pretty well off merchant family there is nothing worst then taxes, especially unfair ones. Not that I really cared. I mean I knew that it hurt my family alittle and it sucked for the less wealthy merchants in the town. Still, I didn't quite care that the 4 Master's were asking for more in the way of taxes. No, I didn't care in till it reached into my home, which seems really shallow of me, but really can you judge me.
I watched as the 4 Master's soldiers stepped into the Earth Bending School where my brothers and I volunteered. They picked out some of the best benders and my two older brothers for "questioning". At the time I didn't know what was going on, I joked with the others that they wanted to pick the rip one before they switched sides. Strange how a joke can get rather close to the truth. They knew that all those they had picked out had already switched sides and sent them back to us beaten for that reason alone.
Even after my beaten brother's came home. I was ignorant of large meaning, the scale of what the questioning had done to my family and my world. I only found out when warrants for my brothers arrest were brought to our house. My brother's tried to run, even after my father begged them to turn themselves in peaceful. At the time, I sided with my father. Surely they won't kill my brothers, I thought. Even after the warrant and my brother fleeing. Even then I didn't get the magnitude of the problem...or rather the truth of the situation.
No it wasn't in till a small black letter arrived on our doorstep. A red lotus print at the top, that signaled the end of the illusion. Before the letter arrival I was sure they were free and fighting against the 4 Master's. The letter of condolence for our loss didn;t indicate if both had died, but it didn't matter. For so long after they had left, I tamper my growing anger at the 4 Master's by telling myself that my brother's were fighting the good fight. Each riot, house raid, and public punishments I saw just angered me so much, but I calmed it and eased myself with the knowledge that my brother's were out there. But they hadn't been. One or both were dead...and had lied to myself saying that I could sit outside the danger so long as they were out there. So on that day, I packed up my stuff and set out to find where my brother's were head and whom they were headed for. It took 3 years, but I finally made it.
Description: 5'11", with rather tan skin and neck length hair that I try to sweep out of my face. I'm rather handsome, though my younger sister claims that after a few battle my face might get smashed in or scorched off. It was the nicest send off I could expect from her.
