I myself don't like these, but these tests always help me when creating characters. A Mary Sue Litmus testWriters' Mary Sue Litmus TestThese tests can be irratating, but they also help out. A LOT. I always check over these and make sure my character isn't a Mary Sue. And a non Mary Sue doesn't mean you get a 0. I would say that as long as you try to limit cliches, then I would say characters are fine. So, I want responses from this? You love the tests? Hate it? Tips for creating characters? Post results for your own characters? Have any more Mary Sue Tests? Just anything involving character creation can go here.

The tests were sort of fun and it showed me how much more detail I need sweatdrop , oh and my most outgoing and hyper characters got lower scores than my calm one. I found that hilarious. Can we ask questions about how to make character here?

I think so but Im not a mod...dont think I am anyway....I find it interesting how many of my chiriters are me as I want to be when often some one insolts him and I couldn't care less the ther chiriter lives or dies lol

Well, I decide to take some of these tests myself. These are 4 different charcters for a series I have been pondering on for a long time. So, the results are...
#1: 18
#2: 15
#3: 13
#4: 21

Im expirmenting with a new chiriter and I was told he was exackly like me or how I wanted to be lol but at least he has to work for every thing rofl now just need his finle apirince....I think I draw him should be at least a little bit easyer that way

lol sence its out of my head and a angel type of being should be easyer lol allways been better with stuff thats in my head insted of real life objects but Im working on that

I would say just focus a lot on their hobbies, family life, and reactions of the individual and their reactions on other people. That way no one can call your person a Mary Sue.

one thing Iv found that helps me when Im creating a chiriter I dont try I give them the basics and let them go grow in a sence I dont make them I let them tell me about them selves when Im bord or some thing I'll ask myself "what would Core do in a situation where thers 5 guys and there all biger then him?" and think on these wold he fight? run? or see whats going on and why there upset at him? and thes is often how thay grow if something interesting happens like say he fights them all off then I'll ask why? what in his past tought him to do that? and normaly I can come up with some thing quickly
