 "I'm free..."
Leva smiled but was breathing heavily. It had been a long time since she'd used her full power. It could take a while to build herself back up to the greatness she once had, but for now she had power enough to do as she willed. She looked around and her face softened. She lead Jay to the water's edge and stuck her foot into the cool blue within the sand. She breathed deep the smell of green plants around them, finally feeling she had come home. "I'm glad you're here Jay...even if you're a child...this is my home...where I spent so many years away from the rest of the cosmos...just to lay beneath these palms. This was also where they found me...and trapped me..." She frowned, "A man by the name of Dios...accompanied by the demon Tragman and the elf Lefant." She would never forget them as they entered her oasis, holding the lamp up to her as though it were a gift. "This air...held my first breath as they pulled me into form. This water...knew my first tears. These sands...the first ground my feet ever touched." She placed her hand on the palm next to her, "It was my last place of freedom. So many memories here...even the last ones can't ruin such a beautiful place for me." She looked down at Jay, "My kind did terrible things Jay. I am no exception. Jinn are a truly neutral force, acting on whims alone." She squeezed his hand, "But...I'm not that same being anymore...I've seen evil. And I've known good. My time as a prisoner to the lamp...it changed me to be who I am now. I am...humbled...but I know that I have in me the capability to do horrible things again." She knelt before him, cupping his face, "So I want you to stay by me...and guide my hand." She smiled, "Tell me when I'm doing wrong. I don't want to become what caused my kind to be bound in the first place."

Jay looked up at her and felt his chest clench and his stomach drop at how they had tormented her so. He geld onto her hand and nodded, "I'm willing to do what ever I can for you." He said smiling and looked up at her. "I may be small but I will be more than happy to guide you Leva."

Leva kissed his forehead, "I'm glad." She said softly, "But..." She cleared her throat, "I still have to ask...now that you are so much younger...are you still the same mentally? Or...are you a child through and through?"

Jay blushed brightly as she kissed his forhead and looked up at her. "I have my same mentality I'm just..." Jay looked down at himself and then up at her, "Shorter... And have a childish charm." He said smiling cutly up at her and gave her a thubs up with his shirt sleeve covering half of his hand.

"I'm free..."
Leva grinned and chuckled, finding him simply adorable, "Oh, Jay, you've always had that charm." She winked at him and ruffled his hair. "Hm...I just realized something..." She said suddenly, seeming a bit troubled, "What does this mean for the shop...? For those still being watched by that man who replaced you?"

Jay smiled and gently kicked at the sand playfully as she spoke of his charm and ruffled his hair. He looked up at her and his face turned white. "S-Samantha... Sandra... Jerico is still running the shop! I-It's Lucifer's shop!" Tears began to form in Jay's brown eyes. "I-I won't be aloud to even go into it! W-We have to go back to hell and talk to Lucifer! Otherwise He'll run the shop forever!"

Leva frowned and shook her head, "Jay...I think we both know what sort of deal he would make with me..." She looked around the oasis, taking in the beauty, "He'd...have everything go back the way it was..." She looked into his eyes earnestly, "I could just send them here, Lucifer himself said they belonged to you."

"B-But what about the others!?" Jay said looking up at her as he fought to keep his tears in line. "Leva we have to do something! J-Just send me to Hell! I'll deal with Lucifer! Please! I can't abandon them!" Jay grabbed her hands and held onto her hands tightly, "Please Leva!"

Leva shook her head, "No." She answered. One can not truly appreciate saying that word until they lived so long unable to utter it. "They don't matter to me Jay. You do. I'm not sending you back to that. Not after going through all this. You are FREE Jay. You never have to answer to any of them ever again. Start over here, with me." She took his small hands in her own, "I'm not going to loose you."

Jay looked at her with shocked eyes. "W-What...?" He looked up at her and several of the tears he had fought to keep back fell, "L-Leva p-please do this for me... Please... They may not matter to you but they matter to me! I promised to keep them safe!" He said softly and held onto her hands tightly, "Please Leva I'm begging you!" He dropped to his knees in the sand and looked up at her.

Leva stood and pulled away from him. She stood staring over the water, thinking about what she should do. "I..." She lowered her head and took a deep breath, "I can't..." She said, her voice tight, "I've been trapped...trapped in that lamp...for so long...doing the bidding of everyone who held it." She gripped her hands into fists. "I'm not going back." She looked over to him, "If we go back down there...Lucifer is going to want me to take Alura's place as the lamp's captive. He'd be a fool not to."

Jay watched as she looked at the water and shook. "B-But... L-Leva p-please..." He whimpered and looked up at him with tears trickling over his cheeks. He couldn't believe what she was saying. He had a promise to keep and now... He was no longer Lucifer's captive but Leva's. He lowered his eyes and began wipping his cheek with his sleeve. He didn't have the power to teleport yet let alone open portals. She was his only way of getting from one place to the next. He sat down and pulled his knees up to his chest and burried his face into his knees. All those who counted on him to come back and protect them and help them through the system... And he was going to fail them. He burried his face into his knees.

This was going horribly wrong. Leva looked down at him, "Besides...you are banished...didn't you say you'd die if you went down there?" She asked, not wanting to hurt him...but she didn't want Lucifer to use Jay as leverage against her. She wouldn't go back to the lamp. Never again would her will be second to another's. "Jay...please...please don't cry..." She knelt next to him, "I just...it would kill me to go back...can't you understand that?"

Jay looked up at her, "I-If I say I'm there to make a deal with him he'll here me out! I can't break my promise!" He whimpered looking up at her, "I-I"m not asking you to go back Leva! Just send me back and I'll take care of everything! Please Leva!" Jay looked up at ehr and grabbed hold of her hands, "I'm begging you Leva, You kept your word and did everything to keep it! Now let me keep mine!"
