Claws pricked the dirt as he walked, occasionally pausing to smack a rock aside. The terrain wasn't the easiest to climb over, but then, his legs were longer than a regular lion's. The mountains, while harsh to most, felt near-perfect to the lion, to the point that he moved with fluid ease. Not that it was always easy, but then, that was life for you.
As Xavier climbed his way onto a large rock, he looked down at the great and vast valley before him. At the center was a lake with a shore so far he couldn't see it, and the other side of the mountains clear on the other side. He didn't have to see it to know it was there, though, having walked these lands many times and many lives before. He let out a huff, sitting down to just stare for the moment. This wasn't going to be easy, just walking down there...

Abla never let the hardships of her life get into her way. She couldn't see but she liked to fly around and wander anyway. She could smell others and things around her, she also could tell where things were by listening to them. And thats what she was doing right now. She liked to explore feel different things under her feet and when she wasn't hanging out with her brother she was wandering and getting to know new places. It was something she really enjoyed.
She was up in the air flying, heading closer to where she wanted to land, she started to flap her wings a little slower so that she could land on the side with out flipping and falling, it wasn't fun to over or under estimate where something was. She waited until she could feel her paws touched the ground and a smile started to sweep across her face. She chuckled slightly before stretching her paws out in front of her digging her paws into the ground and then wiggling them in front of her.
She paused for a moment, she could smell some one not that far away, it was a lion she knew that for sure. Se paused where she was thinking about it as much as she could. She looked around before speaking. "Is some one there?" She asked curiously.

Xavier blinked, turning at the sound of flapping. With mild curiosity, he watched as the goddess landed, but said nothing for the moment. The flowers were a curious sight, and he wondered if they gave off any scent. Her landing had him wondering, too, since she didn't land like he'd seen other gods land. Was she...? And then her mouth opened with question. Yup, she was. "Only a being who's seen too many lives and paid the price for living the life of a cursed one..." He turned his gaze back to the valley, simply watching it. There was no particular reason to stare, he just felt like doing it for now.

Abla smiled as she heard the voice of the other, there was some one else around and as she listened to his voice and she smelt the air she realized there was another god near her and quiet frankly it made her happy to know another god around, she didn't get to see that many other gods lately, but she can say that she enjoyed being able to spend time with other gods it was nice company.
"Ah..." Her voice trailed for a moment before chuckling, she kept track of where she heard his voice and started to wander closer to it, smelling the air around her not wanting to run into him. She hated embarrassing herself like that but she couldn't help but to like to wander toward others for company. For some one that was the goddess of Hardship, she really was sweet, but then again she liked to help people through their hardships instead of cause them. "May I ask your name?"

Long ears flicked, before his attention returned to the goddess. "Xavier." He shifted, the mane along his spine ruffling in a light wind. Looking the goddess over, he contemplated what her domain might be. Roses? Flowers? Flowery slaves...? The latter was born from the shackles on her rear leg and tail, though she didn't look the slave type. Too clean and scar-free. "What about you, what's your name?" He paused. "And domain..." May as well be up-front about his lack of recognizing her.

Abla looked at the God before chuckling slightly, she could understand why the male was confused, she knew that many of times her looks confused others, some times she didn't understand either, but when you met her brother it made just a little more sense. "I am the Goddess of Hardships," she chuckled slightly before nodding, "my brother on the other hand is the God Of Roses." She nodded at the idea. "Sure I do look a little out of place but I've bee through many hardships in my life." She shook her head before then pausing again. "I like to go a different route. I like help heal those from their hardships rather then cause them. Sure i can cause them butit's not my favorite to do..." Her voice trailed the smile that she normally held was still on her face however there was a different story behind hher smile.
If you looked at it carefully you could see a lot of pain behind it, when you thought about it she had a sad, yet comforting feeling to her, it pretty much surrounded her. She then laughed quietly at herself before nodding to the male. "My name is Abla, it is very nice to meet you Xavier. If you don't mind me asking... What is your domain?" She asked curiously looking back at him with a grin. She always did her best to stay upbeat.

"I am the embodiment of curses, I am the god of the Cursed." His ears folded back, before his gaze looked toward the valley. "I seek out those who bear curses, and can remove them... It's been so long and I've been reborn so many times, though, that I don't know if I can even GIVE them... Just remove them." He looked back towards Abla. "Your eyes... Is that natural, or a curse...?" He wasn't asking to remove any possible curse, simply... Wondering. "If you could see me as I am now, I could tell you I'm never getting bigger..." He let out a bitter laugh. "Part of my domain, I suppose... I've absorbed so many youth curses in my past lives, I'm never growing past adolescence."

Abla nodded "ah," she said simply before sitting back on her haunches. He glanced toward his direction, she was trying to get an idea of where he was before she turned her head forward again her eyes distant. "Is that a valley out there?" She asked curiously. Her voice was her normal light yet sad voice that she normally had, she was starting to get more comfortable and relaxed around the male, he didn't seem like some one who could hurt her so she was enjoying the idea of relaxing.
She wiggled her toes in front of her again before speaking. "That sounds like a difficult domain, then again you could say we all have difficult domains in our own way of course..." Her voice trailed, she knew hers was difficult some times. She then paused shaking her head. "I was born like this. Just one of the Hardships that have happened during my life. I've had many but this is one of the major ones." She laughed quietly at the idea, it was one that she had do deal with every day and she lived with it. "You could call it a curse I call it a hardship. That goes the same with your size." she chuckled before nodding again keeping her eyes forward. "You know, it is just a hardship, it's something difficult that you need to deal with. Well... It's okay."

When he looked back, he could almost see the searching look. The male stood up, padding over to sit closer to her. He could only imagine what it was like to be unable to see the world around you. "Life is its own hardship..." He paused. "So is rebirth..." He made a face, glancing up. Where ever the mountain was, he wasn't entirely sure down here. He never went back willingly, anyway. "Every time I'm reborn, I end up back in the God's Realm, and in the snow..." His face contorted. "I hate it, but it's part of rebirth for me.."

Abla smiled slightly as she could feel the male getting closer to her, she was hoping that he was comfortable with her. She liked it when others were comfortable around her. She flicked her tail around smiling as she chains around her tail rattled. "Life is a hardship," she agreed knowing there was no way she could deny that statement she grinned. "Do you not like snow?" She asked curiously. She was a little confused on why he didn't like the gods realm. She knew for a fact that she liked to head over there at times but then again she was okay with the snow, her coat was a little thicker at times of the year and it was nice in the snow.
"I don't... -think- I've ever been reborn..."Her voice trailed before she shook her head. "I'm not really that sure."

Xavier shrugged, glancing up towards a mountain peak. "Yeah, I don't like snow... It's too cold and wet for me. That's why rebirth is just a big cruel joke for me..." Violet eyes soon returned to the blind goddess. "I don't think a lot of gods remember past lives.. Some do, some don't, and those that do have varying degrees of how much they CAN remember..." He paused, then made a face. "I was female the last several lives... I'm still getting over the whole gender change... It can be very alarming and a huge shock if you were one gender, and you remember it and what it was like, and suddenly you're the opposite."

The female lifted her head and then nodded. "Oh my..." She thought for a moment thinking about it. "I guess I could see why it really sucks." Se laughed quietly. "That would be like me ending up in desert, with this coat it isn't really that fun." She flicked her tail around a few more times trying to shake some of the dirt out of it. She hated getting her coat dirty mostly because it was so hard to clean all of it out. "I guess you have a point there. Maybe I did have past lives." She shrugged then thought for a moment. "Well... Tat does sound like an interesting change. I could imagine that it's kind of upsetting."

The male let out a hm, watching the other's tail. After a moment, he looked up at her, tilting his head. "You know, I've heard of some gods having whole prides dedicated to them... Think there's prides out there dedicated to gods like us...?" His gaze returned to the vast valley before them. "A pride worshiping... Curses, and hardships..." He let out a light laugh. "Either that could be the most fascinating pride to watch, or the one to avoid..."

Abla looked over at the male surprised. She was trying comprehend what exactly he was saying, there was full prides that worshiped them. She shook her head laughing some before flopping down on her belly still smiling softly. "Well I can say. I think it's kind of silly." Then at the next idea she couldn't help but to laugh a little more. "I wonder what is going on in their heads." She snorted but then looked in his direction. "There might be. It would be pretty interesting." She chuckled a little bit before staring forward once more, she was starting to feel pretty comfrotable.

The male nodded, settling down. "I wonder what kind of worships they'd use... I hope no sacrifice..." He made a face. "I don't want a pride that makes sacrifices in my name... Or what they remember my name to BE.." He shook his head. "I can't even remember my past names, though, so..." He let out a huff. Eyes turned skyward, watching some birds flying. Or were they gods, flying high above the ground? Who knew. His shoulders twitched, maybe some memory of wings long gone.
