when Love cast me out

I plan on buying this just for the item. Maybe my husband will read it...

I love books, just not the idea of a Fable book...

it was Cruelty who took pity upon me

I want to read it. 4laugh My friend got it and I will be able to read it after she is finished with it. So far she says it is well written and funnier than she thought it would be. It pretty much is placed inbetween Fable 2 and Fable 3.
I read the prologue and i liked it. It did grasp my attention and didn't take long for me to get into it. I do think that playing the game help with that though.

Now all I can do is wait for her to finish reading it xd

I would be Graceful Puma's friend who has the book. XD I just finished it, and it is well worth the read. For those who wish to buy it only for the code, you are missing out--I was surprised at how well it is written. Most of the time, when there is a book written based on a franchise, it is written poorly and only to make money. But with this novel, you can tell that the author enjoyed writing it and did his best to give it the same atmosphere as the games. It truly is wonderful, and made me even more of a fan of Fable than I already was, which is certainly saying something.

So get it, and read it. You won't be disappointed, unless your expectations are nigh uncomprehensible. smile

It's a great book. I hope the free weapon is one of the legendary ones that showed up in the climax of the book....

It was a good book, but there were aspects I didn't like that much. If you don't mind spoilers, PM me and I'll tell you about what bothered me.

close to 432 pages. I read it in six hours. It shouldn't occupy your time that much.

I hope to get it soon and I also hope they're still giving that code that provides you with a unique in-game weapon. It's not that I care about it but I happen to be an obsessive-compulsive collector and well... yeah.

I'll definitely read the book though, it seems interesting.

I have a distinct feeling that the exclusive sword is going to be only in the first printing of it, similarly to how when you buy a game when it's first released you get a free item for buying it then, but if you wait a few months to buy it and you get a more recent pressing of the game you don't get that item.

Like the recon helmet in Reach.

*grrrrr-grumble-grumble* Still don't have a copy. The one and only bookstore by me still hasn't gotten it, and my attempts to get a ride to a bookstore that's bound to have a copy have failed.

The grocery store near me had like...five or six copies of it yesterday. It was kinda weird. But then again, the store also carries Live subscription cards and MS Point cards.....and sold PS2 games for a while.
