HEY BURN!
You know those people who sing songs by other bands/singers? They do it for the love of music. And i'd love to see the best of the best, post links to videos that contains covers of songs!

ME FIRST.
Lisa Scinta playing 'Love the way you lie' By Eminem and Rihanna.

EDIT : PLEASE try to label your links with the song title!

Comment, Critique.
No Bashing.

The only good covers are the ones that don't sound like the original song.

This one, for example. Nevermore's rendition of the Simon and Garfunkel classic 'Sound of Silence.' Sounds nothing like the original, and that's exactly why it's good, because it shows the band's creativity in being able to take one composition, and inject their own sound into it and turn it into something that, for all intents and purposes, can be truly considered their own.

Hey, Zakk.

Some covers I like:
Happiness is a Warm Gun - The Breeders (The Beatles)
Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley (Leonard Cohen)
Pictures of Matchstick Men - Camper Van Beethoven (Status Quo)
(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - Devo (The Rolling Stones)
Third Uncle - Bauhaus (Brian Eno)

I'm sure there are others that I like, but I can't think of them right now. But yeah, basically I like it when covers bring something new to the original song.

'I do not suffer from insanity...

I would, but that would force me to post every glee song ever and they're all AMAZING!!

... I enjoy every second of it'

This one. I actually like the cover better than the original for this song.

Here is the original.

If anybody posts The Rasmus' cover of 'Used to Feel Before' by Kingston Wall, I may just have to kill myself.

I dunno. The only time I've ever watched Glee was to see their version of "The Safety Dance" and it was a colossal disappointment.

"for the love of music"? No. Just no.

If not, i'd say through requests! or what the heck, to kill boredom.
