For understanding of the clan concept, here's information on the movie's set of beliefs.
Eywa is the guiding force and deity of Pandora and the Na'vi. The Na'vi believe that Eywa acts to keep the ecosystem of Pandora in perfect equilibrium. It is sometimes theorized by Earth scientists that all living things on Pandora connect to Eywa through a system of neuro-conductive antennae; this often explains why Na'vi can mount their Direhorse or Banshee steeds and ride them immediately without going through the necessary centuries required to domesticate such wild animals.
Some believe that this interconnectedness, which on Earth is merely a spiritual concept, exists in a physical and tangible way on Pandora, in the form of a strange, collective psionic consciousness embedded in the planet, drawn from all Pandoran life. It is in a way a bit like a huge biological intenet in, the trees being computer server's that store imformation. The Na'vi can upload or download memories from it using their qeues and it can even be used for mind transfers in certain cases.
The Tree of Souls (Na'vi Name: Vitraya Ramunon) is a giant willow-like tree that's said to have the highest concentration of Eywa on the planet.
The Tree of Souls except for being a big part of Eywa also work as a way for Eywa to directly interact with the world trough it seeds. The tree has the capability to connect directly to the nervous system of all living things, not only limited to the queue that pandoran wildlife posses.
The Woodsprites are the seeds of the Tree of Souls.
NOTE: This information is ONLY for background on the beliefs of the connection between all living things and to Eywa through the Tree of Souls. The Modifox clan does NOT live on Pandora, and do not have the queue. The only "Pandoran" thing the Clan has are Hometree and the names of the clan/Eywa/The Tree of Souls.
The Clan's Version The Omaticaya believe that all living things are connected in the same flow of energy. In essence, the Clan believes in the circle of life. The Clan respects all living things as part of the same greater system they are a part of. To the Omaticaya, everything is connected back to Eywa, and the direct connection to Eywa and their deceased loved ones is in the Tree of Souls. Picture a tree with its roots branching out across the entire globe, with the roots of every tree connecting to all of the trees around it. This is how the Omaticaya view the world, and they believe that through the Tree of Souls and its saplings that they are part of this 'global network'.
How do they express this?
The hunters will often say a small mantra of thanks to their prey, and say they have been taken back into the Modeity of the Forest. Shaman will often heal the injured in front of the Tree of Souls, and may spend their spare time in the sapling groves speaking to the ancestors to try and increase their 'spiritual energy'. They probably feel closest to Eywa, second to Ecthelion. Scouts love to explore the territory and experiencing all parts of the system. Gatherers are careful about where they get their herbs from, always making sure they don't pull enough to destroy a plant or its neighbors. Naturally, Carers teach the ways of the Omaticaya to kits, often through stories. While Carers are the primary teacher sof survival, all tribe members must contribute to the well-being and safety of their community when someone is in trouble.
Only the Elder can pray to the Tree of Souls, where the Omaticaya believe their Modeity keeps an eye on her people. There are other places, however, where the seeds of the Tree of Souls have grown and regular members believe they can feel close to their ancestors and even speak to them again, although the ancestors do not talk back.
If you haven't seen the movie, don't worry. This tribe isn't meant to be just an Avatar fan fiction, but is more intended to explore an interesting outlook on life. At its heart, the Clan is based on harmony, cooperation, respect for nature, and reverence for the Modeity of the Forest. Foxes of the Omaticaya Clan can have a wide range of moods and behaviors; it is only expected that they respect the environment around them. Even the most sour of foxes may be accepted if he or she is willing to hold this respect.

1. Do NOT god mod, especially Eywa or the ancestors. 2. Respect all of your fellow tribe members. 3. Follow the shop rules.

The Clan lives in and around Hometree, the towering tree seen in the main banner. The inside of the tribe travels upwards in spirals, with natural pockets and platforms for sleeping. There's room for hundreds of foxes, but there's also plenty of personal space.
The area around Hometree can be described is heavily wooded, with plenty of other widelife around. The foxes learn from a young age how not to disturb the greater predators, and some will never leave the area directly surrounding Hometree.
So where is the Tree of Souls? The abnormally large cherry blossom tree grows in the shadow of Hometree, where it easily visible when a fox looks outside. It is protected there, and the Clan believes it is the power of the Modeity of the Forest in the Tree of Souls that has allowed Hometree to grow so tall.
The seeds of the Tree of Souls spread rarely, and so the Clan territory only has two sapling groves that have fully grown and matured. Another grove is currently growing, but is young, and so a gatherer is usually in charge of keeping the young trees healthy.

Everything is customizable in the mod: feather color/chain color/jewel color/leaf color.
Although the picture is a set of earrings, each fox only receives one feather set, not two.
Although this is meant to be an earring, clan members are allowed to wear the modification from a collar, their tail, or another place if you can think of one. The tribe prefers foxes not to become heavily modded, as it takes away from natural beauty, but don't mind feathers and beads. Other modifications need to be sent to the Clan Elder for approval.

((Restarting RP to garner some interest. All foxes who were RPed before in the old thread are still members! Please PM me the form so I can make sure to keep track off all the desired positions!)) Ecthelion padded to the base of Hometree after spending time underneath the boughs of the Tree of Souls. It was a good place to think, and to pray. The more time passed, the more he was hoping that soon he'd be raised to be an Elder. But this was Eywa's decision, and until then he had others to look after. Things would happen when they happened.
He stopped outside the entrance to the gigantic tree he called home and looked up as far as he could; from this vantage point, he could hardly see halfway up the massive tree. A small smile came to his face; he'd lived here since birth and still Hometree was awe-inspiring.
Having taken his fill of the sight, the brown male walked into Hometree and sat on the upturned tree trunk they had brought in as a platform for him to speak above the others. Looking up into the tree, he called out: "Everyone, come to the meeting place." His voice echoed, and no matter where in the tree his fellow tribe members were, they would hear him. It was early enough, everyone should be in or near Hometree.
((Just as a note on the platform thing, when they have meetings they form a circle together with Cornelia on Ecthelion's right and everyone else wherever in the circle they want to be. Ecthelion's in the circle too, he just sits higher than the others :3))

Leo emerged from his sleeping place, yawning. It was rare to see the green male at home base, he was usually out exploring in the woods. Most times he stayed out there. The last few nights had found him in Home Tree though. He'd felt he was growing distant from the Clan, and needed more time with them.
Leo spotted Ecthelion at the meeting place, and padded over to take his seat. He prefered something to the side, closer to the walls of the tree. It also made an excellent vantage point for observation.

Noel had been resting on a large branch near the top of Hometree, staring out across the rest of the lands, when he heard Ecthelion's call. The Elder-to-be's voice echoed all throught the large, hollow trunk of the Hometree, reaching Noel's ears with ease. He stood and padded toward the base of the tree, beggining to climb down the spiral that led to the ground.
Below, he could see Ecthelion seated on a tree trunk, and a bright green fox approaching him. It didn't take long before Noel was joining the two, and waiting for the others. He took a seat in the designated circle, almost directly across from Etchelion.
As they continued to wait, Noel felt the urge to speak. "Hello," he greeted them, nodding to each of the two foxes in turn. He knew Ecthelion, but wasn't sure of the other fox's name. He turned to the green one and said, "I'm Noel. I don't believe I've met you."

Leo chuckled, a deep sound for such a light-colored fox. "That would be my fault. I'm always out exploring the forests, never really around. I'd imagine my knowledge of the landscape is quite good by now though.
My name is Leopold, but no one ever uses my full name unless they're being formal or I'm in trouble. Just call me Leo."

Riku stretched from where he had been laying and moved towards the platform. As he was heading down, he heard Ecthelion's voice calling for them. It didn't sound urgent but the russet fox quickened his steps. He could see that there were two others there already. One being the green fox that arrived about the same time he had.
Riku picked a spot and sat down. He bowed his head to the Elder-to-be. "Greetings Ecthelion." He looked to the other two and nodded his head.
