Hmm. The name I'll pick for #3 is
Desiderius. Desiderius means "longing", in short.
Derived from Latin desiderium, meaning "longing, desire".Since the parents have a sad love story..
Quote:
Their story is not a happy one, so keep that in mind.
The male has been forgotten by all in life except the female.
But the female died before he could return home.
As such, the male is "covered by darkness" and the female is a "ghost."
...the orbs, I assume, would feel the same longing for their parents as their parents felt for each other.
And the second step, a memory.. It also deals with longing for a parent and family in general.
When I was younger, my cousin (whose 4 years younger than I am) and I always trick or treated together every year. But when I was 12, quite a lot of my extended family was in town. Three of my older cousins, who live out of state, and my aunt and uncle (their parents) and one of those cousins brought her two young sons with her, too. One son was 10 at the time, and the other was only 2. That year, Lauren (Plumems xP) came out trick or treating with us as well. Lots of cousins and family were in town.
I don't remember what costume I wore, or how much candy I got, but having my family with me (and someone I considered family then as I do now, Lauren) is what sticks out in my mind.
From Halloween to New Year's that year was the last time my entire extended family was together (and that was about 14 years ago, now). But that Halloween was probably the best Halloween I'd celebrated simply because of my family, and the fact that some of the family that was there to celebrate with me at the time is now no longer with me.
