Istas was carrying around one of her many stuffed animals and a small picnic basket. With actual food and stuff in it! Istas had talked her mother into making a small picnic lunch, enough for two people in case Istas happened to run into someone to make friends out of.
The young girl was spreading out a checkered table cloth getting ready to sit down when a wind picked up, trying to carry off the table cloth that was unattended for just a moment. When Istas turned back to find the table cloth making a break for it she panicked.
"Oh no!" And she started running after it hoping it wouldn't attack anyone, especially the light green haired girl it seemed to be going after. "Watch out!" Istas called still in a panic as she tried to grab the naughty table cloth.

The park was a place Serenade frequented often these days, although she suspected that people would find it strange if they found her seated atop one of the branches as she usually liked to do. It was just that being close to nature made her feel connected with it somehow, and today she was just strolling about, eyes half closed as she listened to classical music on her iPod.
The strains of the violin however, were replaced by a shout, but Serenade barely paid any notice; children liked playing about in parks after all, and the tablecloth smacked right into the back, jolting her out of the reverie. Gradually, the wind died down and Serenade was able to disentangle herself from the cloth and combed her fingers through her hair as she caught sight of the little girl who seemed to be the owner of the runaway table cloth. "Here." She said, pulling out one of her earphones and presenting the cloth to the little girl. "A picnic isn't a picnic without this."

Istas looked like she was about to cry when the table cloth smacked the older girl. "Ohh I'm sorry," She wailed when the older girl seemed to get tangled up.
The lower lip of the younger girl quivered slightly, "Th-thank you." She said softly looking at Serenade, "You're okay?" She asked, still frightened the girl might turn mean, as she reached to take the table cloth back.
She seemed nice enough though, and Istas had abandoned her picnic basket and plush toy to at least fetch the naughty cloth. Istas though seemed to shift as she was nervous waiting to make sure the older girl wasn't too bothered by the table cloth inccident.

"I'm fine." Serenade assured the young girl with a gentle smile. "It's not your fault." It was autumn after all, and the weather was getting colder; the winds whipping up the dried leaves every now and then. Carpo would be pleased, she thought. Eve had confessed that she felt more alive during her season, which wasn't very surprising. Serenade liked all the seasons, the way they flowed into one another.
"I'm really alright." She repeated, patting her hair to make sure there weren't any stray strands. Perhaps, considering the weather, it would be better to tie up her hair from now on.

Istas watched as she said it wasn't her fault, she nodded softly. Her head tilted as the older girl assured she was okay, "I'm glad." She said with a small smile.
She glanced over to her things. Her hands clasped behind her back as she pondered and looked at the older girl, "Would... you like to join my tea party?" She asked a bit shyly.
After all the girl had just gotten smacked in the face with a blanket, the best thing Istas could do as an apology was offer the girl some cookies or tea, or whatever else her mother had made her for today's tea party.

"Of course!" Serenade said with delight. It reminded of her when she used to have tea parties when Istas' age, both as Chronos back then, and Serenade Soriano. Both young girls had experienced a rather lonely childhood, and thus had to make do with stuffed toys as friends.
"Will... your other guest mind?" She asked, placing a hand on the younger girl's shoulder and guiding her gently towards where the picnic basket lay. Serenade had regarded her own stuffed animals seriously and thus, perhaps the other did the same too.

Istas smiled at Serenade, as she seemed to be delighted to be invited. "Great!" She said with a grin.
She paused when the question was asked, seeming to think. She looked towards her sheep plush she had today, "I don't think Bo would mind." She said with a smile as they walked.
"He likes making new friends." The child's curls bounced as she walked, "I'm sorry for leaving you here Bo, but I had to catch the blanket." She offered the apology to the plush toy.

"Bo?" Serenade echoed in surprise. "I have a friend named Bo too. Bodhi, actually, but we just call him Bo. He likes making friends too. Perhaps you could meet him someday." Serenade was confident that Bo wouldn't mind being introduced to a sweet little girl. In fact, he probably seemed like the ideal playmate even though he was so tall.
"Hullo Bo." She waved to the sheep plush. "I'm Serenade. And what is your owner's name?"

Istas blinked, "Really?" She said curiously as she listened "Bodhi?" She stumbled on his name, "Maybe! I'd like that, specially if he's as nice as you are."
She smiled her curls bouncing as she streatched out the blanket. She paused, "Bo says hello and that my name is Istas, or some people call me Lulu if they have trouble saying my name." She said with a chuckle.

"He's nicer." Serenade affirmed with a nod. It was something she wasn't sure she would bring up in Bo's presence, because she knew he would protest."And likes giving piggybacks." The mental image of Istas carried by Bo was adorable, and she knew Bo would love to meet the young girl someday.
"Istas." Serenade repeated, and smiled. "It's a very pretty name."

Istas' eyes seemed to sparkle when there was a mention of piggyback rides. "I love piggyback rides!" She said with an awe to her voice, and as quickly as it had come, the mystical expression faded.
"Thank you, it means Snow." She smiled brightly up at the older girl as she pulled out a small yellow teapot with pastel flowers on it, matching tea cups, plates, and a pony printed thermos full of some drinkable liquid along with a bag of cookies.
Istas smiled as she opened the thermos to look inside. "I think it's actually tea this time Bo." She said with a nod, before looking to Serenade, "Do you like tea and cookies?" She asked curiously as she attempted to pour some of the liquid into the tea pot. You couldn't have a tea party out of a thermos after all.

"Snow." Serenade said, a faint smile upon her lips as she wondered if Noel would like it. Winter was coming soon anyway, and once the snow started to fall, she had no doubt he would be excited. Istas would be too, she was sure. It was nice to see children playing in the snow sometimes.
"I like tea." She affirmed brightly, settling down on the blanket. "I used to have tea parties too. I helped to make cookies and sometimes muffins for my friends. I don't really have tea parties anymore; I kind of miss it though."

Istas saw Senerade smile and nodded in conformation. Istas did love snow, even though it was cold you could have so much fun in it.
The child smiled, "Would you like to pour the tea?" She asked curiously offering the now almost full, but not too full teapot to Serenade. At least Istas knew how to keep from spilling the tea everywhere. "OH?" She seemed curious a the mention of Serenade having tea parties at one time.
"Why don't you?" She asked curiously as she pulled out the cookies, looking to see what kind there was going on to report the kinds of cookies, "Oh we have chocolate chip and sugar cookies with sprinkles on them this time." She looked at Serenade with a bright smile, "Which would you like?"

"Sure." Serenade bobbed her head in agreement, taking the teapot from the child and carefully poured a decent amount into each cup. "I did this quite often when I was younger. I guess I don't anymore because of lessons and responsibilities." Academic responsibilities did change a lot from elementary school to high school; you had to be a lot more disciplined and focused. And then there was the responsibility of her alternate identity...
"Chocolate chip, please." She said politely. "Did you bake these yourself?"

Istas smiled as Serenade poured the tea, watching how well the older girl poured the tea. Istas was impressed because it looked like the older girl didn't spill a drop.
"Oh, I see, that's so sad. To have to give up something fun and that you can get to know friends over for school and respons-a-blities." She took her time pouncing the word because it wanted to come off her tongue oddly. "I hope it's not something I have to give up, I like tea parties, even if they occasionally end up with just my stuffed animals."
She took a napkin and used it to pick up a chocolate chip cookie and place it on Serenade's plate. "My mommy helped, I can't use the stove by myself." She said with a smile, As she took out another bag and gave her bears plastic food. "Is one enough? Or would you like two? I have plenty." She smiled as she pulled out a sugar cookie for herself with a Napkin settling it on her own plate.
