Sun slowly walked along the bank of the stream, hurting all over wondering if she would be lucky enough to find her sister? "Did Star even survive? Yes she had to have, but will she accept me? I am weak right now, and knowing Star is probably trying or already apart of a pack." She talked out loud to herself , stopping to lap up some fresh cold water. "I'm so screwed..." She sat down depressed and hurting. Her old pack always beat the crap out of her, but that's done with.

 Blade had been moving for quite sometime, searching for the perfect place he could set up his den. Sooner or later it would become a pack, once he made some friends. The Knight had felt he was in some dire need to protect someone other then himself, after all he was a Knight. Fierce and Noble. Blade had left his old pack, none of them seemed to see things as he did. Killing for ruthless reasons, attacking others. That just wasn't him. He knew his parents must have been quite disappointed in the way he had turned out and he doubt he was even missed.
The faint scent of blood caught his nose as he sniffed the air. Letting his tongue roll to the ground he used it to sense the vibrations in the ground trying to figure out where this scent was coming from and who it belonged to. By its movements he had narrowed it down to be a Krokota. Nothing else was around so its presence must have scared off all the prey in the area. It stopped...by what felt like running water, a creak or a stream perhaps? Pulling his tongue back into his mouth the noble knight moved in that direction. Sure enough it was a Krokota, a female Krokota. Wounded by the looks of her, and by her smell. "Excuse me, madam" he spoke his voice ringing softly through the crisp air, not knowing the female's name. "Are you alright?"

Sun jumped when she heard the males voice, she looked behind her, he was a knight, she felt she might be in big trouble. "I'm sorry for being on you land, I will move right away. No I'm not hurt." She lied, because if she shown her weakness, she would most certainly be attacked. She stood up, then limped by him, it hurt so much to move but if she didn't, he would kill her for sure.

Blade watched her curiously. His land? He hadn't even decided yet if he wanted to make this territory his land. "There is no need to move Mad'am" he spoke in a kind voice once more. "This is not my land, I'm just a traveler passing through looking for a place to set up as his own." A kind smile on his face. He watched as she limped away, knowing full well that she had lied to him. His trust was quite easy to earn at first, but once lied it was quite hard to gain back. Still she piked his interest wondering exactly what had happened to her. The kind smile still there he walked up next to her giving her a bit of support with his own body. "Since you do insist on moving let me help you."

Sun jumped at the touch of another Kaneq. Whenever someone came near her she was about to be attacked. She sighed and decided to talk instead of fleeing, since this wasn't his land. "I ran away from my old pack because they hurt me, I am in alot of pain, sorry I lied, but before in my old pack if I said I was hurting, they would attack me for being weak. I'm lost, I'm trying to find my sister but I doubt I will find her...."

Blade was quite glade that she wasn't trying to push herself to hard. "I left my pack as well. More or less because our belief's collided so much. My old pack would attack other pack's to acquire their land, but I believe that you shouldn't have to fight unless you are protecting someone. So I left to create my own pack." He paused a bit thinking on it, his mind drifting back to what she had said before. "Well, I think you should let yourself heal before you go off and find your sister," he then took a few steps away from her. "Wait here," he told her softly that small smile still remaining on his face. "I'll go off and find some place where you can rest." He moved to head off, but he stopped, "By the way you can call me Blade." And with that the male then moved through the brush searching for a safe place near by where his new friend could rest.

Sun was surprised that he was so kind, What she was used to was being bitten and scratched because she was weak. "My name is Sun" she said quietly, doubting he would hear her. She started licking at her paw, it was a habit that showed how unstable and nervous she was. She felt safer then before she met Blade. She thought to herself.. If she didn't find her sister soon, she might try and join blades pack. If he would want her that is. She laid down, wondering if Blade would really come back to her.

Paws moving swiftly across the land as they carried him fast above it until he found what he was looking for. It was a small at the mouth of the river, behind a small half frozen waterfall. Not only did he see this place as a place to help the other rest, but it would also in the long run become the place were he would set up his pack. It was isolated for the rocky edge to get to the cave behind was narrow, only allowing one to pass at a time. A perfect place to defend against enemies. Happily smiling the Krokota headed back to where he had left Sun.
Arriving he announced quite content with himself. "I found the perfect place for you to rest my friend."

Sun looked up at Blade and smiled. "thank you" She slowly got up and walked to Blade, her paws hurting. "I will fallow you, and have decided. My sister could be so far away that i may never find her, so if you will let me, can I join your pack please." She was nervous that he would turn her down, but she had to start being tough, and risk rejection even though she feared it.

There was a slightly confused expression on his face as he glanced back at her. "Why wouldn't you be able to join my pack?" he questioned. "My pack is set up so all who wish to live in harmony and have protection can." Well that is how he set it up in his mind so far. He only had a few rules so far set in stone which he actually liked. Some were still iffy. He didn't even have a suitable name for it yet.
He slowly lead her to the place which he had found to set up his den. She was his first member too, his first official member, well other then himself that was. When they arrived at the waterfall he pointed his head towards it. "Its behind there," He stated, looking back at her wondering how she was holding up.

Star felt very safe in Blades company, she felt she could do anything, she felt the power inside of her that was hidden away. No longer was she the weakling and runt, she would prove all of her old pack wrong and become the strongest....She would be whatever Blade felt she should be. She will be at least the second best, she hoped.
The pain was still all over, but she hid most of it now, to show she wasn't weak. (OOC animals hide their weaknesses when they are sick or injured so they aren't picked out of whatever they are in. Like my cat Pepper, when he started moaning, I knew he was in so much pain that he needed to be put down, and cats have a natural pain killer in them, which is where scientists got some of the strongest painkillers, from studying and prob torturing cats, and dissecting their brains, those bastards!!!)
She smiled at Blade , then looked at the den, it was perfect, cool on hot days, warm on cold nights. "I love it Blade"

Blade beamed with a bit of Pride. "I think I will make our pack here." He stated. Blade continued to look her over, watching her movements with care. "Well if your hungry I could go out and hunt something for you," He offered. Seeing this as a time she should take to rest her body and let it heal.

"Oh if you don't mind, I will make it up to you" She smiled at him, he was so sweet. She decided she was going to become a great hunter for him, his pack will be very strong. She then laid down, feeling better then she had all her life.

"No need to make it up to me," He replied back. "We are a pack after all, we are suppose to help each other out." Giving a small smile he headed for the entrance of the den. "I will be back in a bit then," He spoke before he left. Moving down the rocky narrow path, Blade returned to the dense trees of the forest around them. It was time to hunt, and scout out the area.

Sun relaxed, almost asleep but not, wondering how much it would be to hunt. She pictured herself running ahead of all the others instead of fallowing in the back,, ripping out the throat, so it would bleed to death, causing the least harm to the other hunters, so they could fallow until it fell. Her stomach growled.
