I'll have to say my fav is Crazy Train, closely followed by Sweet Child O' Mine and Holiday. The hey song is pretty epic too, but only when our director lets us do wars with the other band.

The hey song is pretty epic too, but only when our director lets us do wars with the other band. we played it as part of our show my freshman year. Now its a stands tune. I love one of the clarient runs in it, its such a fun finger dance and sounds epic. I'd tell you where it is, but we have a modified version of the song only our band has cause our drill writer needed to shorten it quite a bit.

As a bassoonist, I do not play my instrument in Pep Band. Rather, I play crash symbals.
I like the songs where I can get really into playing crash, like the Star Spangled Banner. YEAH!
Of the pep songs we play (where I don't play super Crash), I'm a fan of Imperial March, Poker Face, and Crazy in Love. Of course there is the Hey Song, too. And Let's Go Band. Our BD always has us plays us play Let's Go Band so fast that the cheerleaders start tripping over themselves and running into each other. It is quite funny.

my personal favorite is the offspring's "kids aren't alright". also 99 red balloons (nena), Brooklyn (youngblood brass band), and jonny's mambo (from dirty dancing) biggrin

Crazy Train or Virgin de la Macarena. They are fun to play and dance to on rests in the stands.
