It was a nice day. The sun was shining brightly, the birds were singing, other animals going about their business. Most of all, it was a day where a certain mare was actually in a good mood.
Nukpani knew she was prone to random bouts of changing moods, and it would be the smallest thing to trigger it or nothing at all. This fact, for the most part, leaves her in the bitter end of the pendulum, more often than not. It also leaves her rather lonely, secluding herself so not to subject others to her fickle temper. The mare figured that she would make herself go away before someone else could. But, over time, evading others can prove hard, tiresome, and one might even come to hope to run into someone else.
So now, she was in a rare happy mood and wouldn't mind some company. Standing in a clearing, she smiled as she watched butterflies flutter around, other bugs hop about, and birds flying in and out from among the grass. She knew that at any moment, the smallest thing could cause her to 'flip', but she wasn't going to let that thought bother her. She giggled as a butterfly flew past her nose, playfully blowing on it, causing it to waft some distance away. This was nice. Why couldn't every day be like this?
