Snow, cold and white. It was nice to return to such a beautiful scenery. Seymour huffed as he took another step into the freezing white, his boots caked with little chucks of the frozen water. He had been in Imisus for only a few weeks, and already the buildings and crowds of the city suffocate him. He probably wouldn't survive too well in the city life.
Good thing he lives alone.
The silence was a nice welcome back in comparison to the loud streets. The cold wind burning his face was painful, but at least it means he is back in Shyregoed.
Seymour reached into his pocket and gave the kiseru within a gentle stroke. "Back in Shyregoed." he whispered to the air, and continued his trail back to his cabin.

While others may have grown to love the bleakness that was offered by the stark white of the land, Elsie's eyes were weary of it. Her time back in Isimus had spoiled her with vivid colors and sounds, smells and sights. Returning the north, albeit it being her choice, had once against stripped away the brightness that living world had to offer a naked eye. Her ears were already longing for the familiar sounds of her home and the streets around it; carts on cobblestone, people barking out what they were selling as they tried to make ends meet through honest living.
Elsie missed Isimus. Noel could care less.
The Plague had shown he was indifferent to his location quite easily during the course of their various travelings, even when they'd gone south and come back north. It seemed, at least to Elsie, that so long as Noel was at her side he was content no matter the location. It may have also been that he was far too young to recall things with fondness since they were always moving, but Elsie also supposed it was just his nature. Location was unimportant compared to the people in said location.
"Noel. . . I think I may have gotten us lost."
Elsie's words were the first she'd spoken in a very long time, at least out loud. The woman had been so quiet, practically a mute, since the events she had witness at the performance; Noel had done most of the talking for her while she remained silent. The sound of her voice was harshed and cracked from disuse and the cold, though the Plague that snuggled against the woman's body for heat (amongst the bells, creatures he loathed) didn't seem to mind the rough tone. Elsie's voice would always be spring to him.
"Is there a way to ask someone then? I know you did not mean to wander around, but . . . ."
"It's not my style to stay indoors when I feel unsafe. I'm sorry, but at least you're warm?"
"The question is, are you warm Mother? My worry is for you."
The pair had stopped in their wanderings as Elsie looked around, longing for a landmark.

Swoosh! Another freezing wind. Seymour winced, pulling his scarf tighter around his neck. Indeed this was the usual treatment of the frozen land.
Reaching into his pocket, the man gently brushed his hand against the kiseru within his pocket once more. They were almost home, just a little more and they will be able to watch the frozen land in--
"Noel. . . I think I may have gotten us lost."
Someone lost in Shyregoed? That's not good. The mornings are cold, but not harsh. However, at night, a men could die out here. Seymour took in a deep breathe before heading off towards the direction of the voices.
It only took Seymour a few minutes to find the source of the voice: A women. Just one person? He was certain that there was at least two voices talking to one another. Was it part of his imagination? Possibly, though, how should he introduce himself? To have a man suddenly appear to talk to a women...that is a little suspicious is it not? Then again, so is just standing there watching. What to do? What to do?
