Hinder's philosophy is that it doesn't matter how strong your opponent is if they can't hit you. One of the slowest Krokotas, he was once discouraged to join in hunts. However his stubbornness and pride pushed him to develop his skills; while his running speed did not improve, his reaction time was reduced significantly. Often he is seen running through the forest swinging through the trees to improve his skills in evasion.
Now he is able to out maneuver other Krokotas and which at times leads him into becoming quite arrogant. However since he was once the underdog, he tries to protect those who appear weak with a belief that later they will become one of the strongest though sometimes his beliefs in other can be burdensome.

You're the one on top. No one else; don't bother with kindness, or pity. Everyone is out to get you. This is how Cry lives his life. If he could, he'd wipe every Krokotas from Kaneq if he could. But of course, he can't. That only frustrates him more. In sense Black Cry is a psychopath, not seeing why anyone would ever think differently from his own beliefs.

Three C's: Calm, Cool, and Collected. Trunk is reserved and is very unwilling to share any of his experiences or emotions with others with the exception of a small few. His wariness of others gave him a solitary life that he had come to adapt to. Rather dull and boring in his conversations, his true caring and passionate self won't come out without a great deal of effort.

Life is to be lived. Breath doesn't follow the rules because he doesn't see a need for them; why have organization when chaos is so much more interesting? Not to say that he's an anarchist, he follows the rules of a hunt with passion but dislikes hierarchies and frivolous rules made by those in power. Breath believes in the bare necessities when it comes to rules and he isn't going to change his belief for anyone.
