I had this exact theory after the first contact with them in Academs Fury. It took a little while for me to fully embrace it though because I didn't think it would be something Jim Butcher would do. After reading Cold Days and learning of the Lovecraftian horrors that the Outsiders are I support the Extraterrestrial Vord theory.
