Battling


This is the battle system for fighting army's, people and the occasional mod.

How wars are fought:
Each team has 3000 Health. Each team takes turns posting (actions section) a random number between 1-100. Each time the number is picked the other team's health goes down by that number. First team to hit 0 has lost. The person posting beneath you subtracts the number you role.

How 1vs1 battles are fought:
Your person has 1000 health. You random number 1-100. You fight in turns, no double posting. You fight each other till one is beneath 50 so they can flee. The lower the number beneath 50 is the more messed up they are. If they get -20 then you die. You cant move and someone has to find you and give you medical treatment. You cant roleplay till you heal. Vehicles give you the ability to randomize 50-100, but they can only be used 5 times in a battle then they run out of gas or whatever. Horses, motorcycles and jet skis are the only vehicles that dont do anything for you and never go away until you leave them.

How to do 1vsMod battles:
These battles you tend to avoid. Unless you are a mod you dont have a high change of wining. First the health is different. Crew have 2000 health, Vice captains have 3000 health. If you come across the captain, run, run like the wind, dont look back. Change your name, whatever. The only thing that has a slight chance at fighting a mod and winning are Vice captains. The Captain has 4000 health! Aside from that the mods have a secret move called the banning technique, you cant doge live or anything when this is performed. It can only be done every 100 posts. Or when you are banning someone. This attack does 1,000,000 damage. Other than this the battle is done the same way as 1vs1 battles.

How fist fights are done:
You each start out with 100 health and do damage of 1-10. It does not matter if you are captain or not, you are only using your fists. Anyone can fight anyone and each have equal chance of winning. Its not like we fight or the death or anything.

Yeah, but... why don't you just make it that way only when mods fight mods?
I mean it's unfair to see a mod character defeat a member character because of that.

Not to mention, guilds with these sort of "battle systems" don't exactly attract many creative, imaginative RPers. No offense, but I think we should just RP the old-fashioned way.

I like this system it took me twenty minutes I will get rid of the PlayervsMod and PlayerVsPlayer but i like the fist fights and Wars

It would be fun to use the battle system in war, but how are you going to incorporate strategy and tactics along with it?

2nd Find a way to add tactics to affect it like flanking and surrounding the go ahead, i will add it when you do!

I think we should roll a dice. That way everybody doesn't just say: 100 or 10 or whatever the highest number is each time.

How about this: In regular strikes, teams are allowed to use numbers 1-75. When flanking the enemy, the attacking team are allowed to attack up to 100 points. When pincer-attacking the enemy, the attacking team are allowed to use 10-175 points. When surrounding the enemy, the attacking team can attack up to 250 points.
If the situation seems appropriate, the moderators can also permit the use of higher damage points.
