Now I have to say Since Ocarina of Time was my first ever Zelda game I didn't notice at first Sheik was Zelda but now that I know I'm a bit sad... Why is it that Zelda can never either be a pirate or an awesome guy? Why always an adorable sweet blond princess? Not that it's a complaint because never in the series was Zelda ever useless but truly... Where ARE all of these Zelda's coming from and why do they all look so alike?

Hmm. My friend and I had the same question about Link... And what we came up with is that after each game, the Link and Zelda got together and that is how the next Zelda is born later on down the line... As for the Link... Since he "is of the Royal Guard blood line"... then he had to have been born of one of the ladies of that line... But that is just our idea. It still can be altered till there is a satisfied answer. On a side note...

And what we came up with is that after each game, the Link and Zelda got together and that is how the next Zelda is born later on down the line... As for the Link... On a side note... XD haha I like that... Because to me I thought sheik was awesome and was almost disappointed that it was zelda

Heart_of_Elemental Yeah... Sheik was cool... Even if he was a she... A friend of mine took sheik and gave him his own story instead of keeping him as Zelda and I have to say I enjoyed it more.
