So we all know a major part of being Lesbian/Gay/Transexual/Bisexual is the process of coming out to family and friends.
Some of us have done it, others have not, some have come out to specific people but not to the whole world.
This is a place for the Good stories, the Bad and even for support for those of us who have not yet come out and may be thinking about it.

Coming out to my friends was easy and they all expected it. XD I remember the first time I told Berry that I thought I was bi. That was when I still wasn't sure (few years ago) and I had since tried to deny it afterward. Denying it made me miserable. I ended up accepting it again, and it's so much fun to proudly state it. Also, it's really funny, because pretty much everyone had thought I was a lesbian at some point. Two different friends (or so) both told me that their parents had asked them if I was a lesbian (and at the time, I wasn't admitting bisexuality, but I enjoyed the thought that I was seen as such).
I haven't come out to my parents. Or family members, in general. Most of them are super religious and look down upon it and I fear what they would do if they found out I was dating a girl v_v; Not that I'm afraid to tell bigots that I'm lesbianish. But the fact that I have to remain in contact with them kind of sucks. So it would be... constant put-downs and disappointment.

Seeing as most of my friends are gay/lesbian and a lot of them are internet based You all know and all my irl friends do too the ones I spend time with I don't identify as on facebook because of my church, and the CBOQ that I volunteer with at Avalanche because I'm afraid of having the retreats taken away from me for saying I'm bi or losing that respect.
My parents also don't know....but I'm thinking about coming out to my Mom soon.
