Yvette was stuck in High School. She didn't want to be in High School, but she was stuck there anyways. Even worse, she had a study hall period. As a Senior, that was perhaps the worst thing ever. Usually the only Seniors that had to worry about having a study hall period were the jocks who needed to kill time. Yvette didn't play any sports, so it felt really pointless.

Before she had gotten her letter from the school district, she probably would have used this time productively. It was an excellent time to work on all that catch-up work she owed. However, now it felt pointless. So instead of using her time wisely to work on homework and studying, she spent it like about half of the student body would have.

She planted her forehead on the table she was sitting at in the Library. Being as quiet as she was, she was able to let out a decent sized miserable sigh and was still able to not get noticed by the school librarian.

Azzo however did hear Yvette, only because he was directly behind her heading towards another table. When she sighed he stopped to see what made the noise with a lofted brow before inviting himself to sit beside her.

He replied with a sigh of his own, hoping to not be heard by the librarian before sitting down and shaking his head. "I see you're stuck here too." He whispered.

"Mel had hoped you weren't." He added before opening a book that was clearly not homework.

There was only one advantage to having the quiet voice she had, and it was not getting caught while talking in a library. Her purple eyes seemed to drift over to the boy's direction, easily noting his puppy-ear hairstyle. She didn't know if she was happy or sad to see him at school as well.

There were so many emotions bottled up inside of her. She had never felt such a drastic conflict of emotions in her brain, and in all honesty, it was giving her a headache. She could have said so many things, and yet the only thing to tumble from her lips was "It sucks!" Classic Yvette Weaver with her childish spin to everything without meaning to.

Sulkily, she lifted her head so she could at least see Azzo right-side-up. It would have been rude to keep her head on the table. At least her bangs covered up the red spot that had formed thanks to having her head down so long.

Azzo nodded as he agree, "Yes, yes it does." He said softly watching the Librarian, turning a page in the rather colorful kids book he'd gotten from Destiny's public library.

"I was debating on not coming back but my parents would've killed me if I didn't." He said softly with a sigh. As he glanced at the page in the book.

"At least we're here together, there should be some comfort in that."

Poor Azzo was going to be victim to the puppy eyes. It was an art that Yvette had mastered when she was merely a child. She hadn't ever used them in a fashion that was selfish, like how some children would when they didn't get their way and wanted to ensure they got the dollie they wanted.

No, Yvette always used those puppy eyes when she actually was feeling relatively miserable.

And now the deep purple puppy eyes were fixed on Azzo.

"I don't want to be here... I... I'm going to be 19 this December..." She had always been old for her grade level. Her parents had held her back 1 year due to her small stature as a child, but it was manageable. Lots of people had to deal with that silly birthday deadline which determined whether you went ahead or were held back a year. So even if that technically was not the case for Yvette, she was pretty close to it still where people didn't question.

Being 19 and in high school still was very very different.

"I... I am glad I am not the only one... b-but... "

...it's so unfair!

Azzo got the puppy eyes. He shifted slightly when he noticed he felt bad. He couldn't do much of anything other than drag out a puppet, a hand puppet of a fox.

That he made wiggle about. "I was 19 in April." He said with a sigh. He knew that feeling, he shouldn't be here either. He should've been graduated and into SHilP or something.

He sighed, "Yeah I don't know why we get the short end of the stick." He agreed, it was unfair, and he didn't like it. "The others have to deal with it too, even Melody." He said with a frown.

Yvette's chin flattened itself onto the table again, as if her head was too heavy to hold. And so, she was essentially the same level as Azzo's fox puppet. For a bit, she just looked into its googly eyes with her puppy eyes. Nonetheless to say, it really didn't do anything in particular for the puppet.

"Do you have a name, Mr. Fox?" She didn't sound enthusiastic, but it was because she was still wallowing a bit in self pity. She should have been a good friend. She knew she should have at least attempted to be less mopey. Yet, the girl just remained with her head flat on the table, looking at the puppet as if it was the only one listening to her.

Azzo was glad she at least seemed interested in the fox. He shook the foxes head, "I should have one, but I sadly don't."

Azzo was using a slightly squeaky and comical voice. The fox waved one of it's little arms at Yvette, "Why don't you give me a name!"

He paused, loooking back at Azzo and held a paw up to his maw, "He's not very creative with names." Giving a nod motion as he seemed to watch Yvette.

Obviously this was Azzo's way of trying to cheer up Yvette, since they couldn't really have food in the library.

The girl's tiny lips formed a frown as the puppet admitted it did not have a name. "You have no name, Mr. Fox? That is so sad..."

With her pinky, she reached out towards the fox's arm and offered it for a "handshake." She was very gentle and not presumptuous in any sense. Her little finger literally waited for the fox to reach out to shake with her.

"I... I don't know what to name you... b-but... my name is Yvette. I-it... it's nice to meet you, Mr. Fox."

The fox gave a soft patpat motion on Yvette's arm, "We're all don't have a name at some point!"

Azzo squeaked, when she reached out her little finger the fox touched his little paw to it and 'shook'.

"It's nice to meet you too Yvette! And don't worry we'll find me a name sooner or later!" Another nodnod motion was given to confirm this. Azzo was thinking for a second as he paused in the 'act'. He realized he still hadn't quite decided on a puppet show yet and started to ponder, "Tell me Yvette." He said in his foxy voice, "Would you like to help Azzo come up with an idea for a puppet show?"

He could make study hall at least, less dull. While he couldn't change the fact they were both stuck in going to Meadowview, at least he hoped he could make it a little more bearable anyways.

That was a sad little thought, to think Yvette Weaver had at one point been nameless. The girl might not have been an optimist, but even that thought was a bit overwhelming for her. Her tiny frown remained on her lips. However, in an attempt to right the wrong of the fox's lack of a name, she offered "I promise I will try to think of a name for you, Mr. Fox."

Her eyes remained on the puppet in a fashion of wonderment that was usually only reserved for children. When the little auburn fox mentioned Azzo, her eyes didn't even shift from the little canine. She was having a conversation with a puppet. And somehow, it was completely natural for her.

"I might not do very good, but I would love to help where I can..." If there was one thing Yvette loved doing, it was helping out when asked. Her main problem was people usually didn't ask such a quiet and small girl for help. They usually reserved the "helpful jobs" for people who were bigger, stronger, or more talkative. Shy little girls didn't have much to offer the world.

So the thought of one puppet needing her assistance made her tiny frown lift up at the corners, forming a tiny smile instead.

Azzo watched as Yvette seemed to still remain sad at the fact the fox had no name. Which of course made the wheels in his head turn more. Keeping the foxy voice he replied to her, "Why thank you Yvette! You're very kind!"

The fox had taken Yvette's pinkie and nudged his little nose against it in a kiss fashion that was much like a gentleman kissing the back of a lady's hand.

When Azzo heard her agree there was a smile that crept up on his face as well, "I'm sure you'll do fine!" The little fox said with a confident nod. "Azzo needs help picking out a story for a puppet show at the public library for the kids! He was wondering if you had any favorite children stories, or if you'd help him pick one out!"

Azzo of course had a few in mind, however, he often liked to get ideas from other people when it came to playing out stories. What better way than to find out Yvette's favorite children stories? If she couldn't pick one, he also had a few books in his bag that he'd grabbed for choices.

It was a good thing that it had been a puppet who had kissed her little finger and not a boy. Regardless of the fact it was a boy controlling the puppet. No, there would be no flaring red colors burning across the girl's cheeks. Fox kisses were cute. And Daddy couldn't get upset about Fox kisses.

When the puppet mentioned needing to pick a story, the girl's mind began to think over all of the basic fairy tales and other stories she could remember. She bit her lip slightly and rolled her eyes up to the ceiling. There were just too many stories out there! "Uh, um... a-are you looking for fairy tales in particular, or are you looking for any kid's story? Like maybe Dr. Seuss?"

Azzo pondered as he counted the puppets he had and took out a piece of paper and scribbled with his left hand, which was actually kind of hard. He wrinkled his nose, trying to make it legible.

The little fox slid the list over to Yvette and in the fox voice Azzo said, "Dr. Seuss might be hard.. Unless he could find someone to make a hat." The list had the different knights, princesses, cats, the dog and a few other random puppets that Azzo had that were on strings.

"Though Azzo doesn't reject different outfits for the puppets, most of them can be redressed."

"Uh..."

Her eyes looked over the list that was passed to her by the little canine puppet. There were cats, but there were no hats. With the lineup of puppets though, she did manage to think of something that might work.

"Um... w-well, i-if you bought me the material, I wouldn't mind sewing up something... b-but... m-maybe..."

Her eyes lifted up to look into the button eyes of the puppet. "...m-maybe 'Puss in Boots' would be a good show? O-or something like it... Imeanyoudon'thavetouseitifyoudon'twantto..."
