Yeah, this pretty much speaks for itself. I mean what needs explaining about Halo: Friggin' Reach? Talk about what you love, or...not love about it (If I get any Halo haters I'm gonna fire mah argument lazer).
For me, and mind you I'm not one to be blown away by games, this game is absolutely mind boggling. It's amazing. That being said I love everything about it, except one thing. The ONLY thing I don't like about it would be the fact that in Matchmaking you have to vote on a gametype and, at least in the beta (I don't actually have the game yet, only played a bit of the campaign and forge on a friend's 360 and, of course, the beta), everyone seems to vote on freaking head-hunter and stockpile. I have grown to hate those two gametypes with a passion. Stockpile I didn't mind until once during the beta my team got absolutely spawn camped for an entire match (at least I assume it was the entire match, since I quit about 70% of the way through). The enemy team even stopped collecting about a quarter into the match just to spawn camp. Head-hunter I was just never good at. Killing I can do. In fact I can kill like crazy (once during an oddball match I decided not to go for the ball, but instead just kill people, and finished the match with 30 kills and 0 points for not grabbing the skull), but losing just because someone was able to kill me before I got to a randomly changing area a few times isn't something that strikes me as fun. I suppose I could become good at it, but, yeah...I just kind of said why I don't play it period. Other than that, I find this game absolutely stunning. I'm still trying to get over the incredible size of the Forge world.

Eh...
So I don't hate Halo. I just don't play that many FPS games in general, especially not for consoles. I've never been able to get the hang of the controls. That and I don't actually have a 360 right now. Oddly, I think I prefer third person shooters to FPSes...but that's neither here nor there.
A friend of mine at work was raving about the game though. One of the things he liked about it was how your AI controlled buddies in the campaign mode were Spartans too and not wussy soldiers who died in one shot, or something like that.
Also, please don't forget to put a poll with your topics. Lack of polls makes baby Goldie cry.

We still heart you.
Know what I forgot today? The badge to get into my workplace. I had to walk back to my room to get it and then back to work. It was awesome.
Also, a friend at work was going on today about how FPS games are the number one gene of video games today. I don't know if I agree with that.
