ok,so,the family that is staying with my family, they have a hard time turning off lights when they leave a room,so I keep yelling at them, cause the electric bill has doubled since they came, and its just too much,so,I said to brian and chris "will you guys please turn off that light" and brian started going off that he was going back in (funny, cause he only went in long enough to turn off the light, then come back out) well, then his dad started going off about how the "sauna" I have upstairs is wasting energy, when its not, because its keeping our small bathroom (its a heater in a bathroom with the door closed) to 80 degrees to keep the crabs warm, and so it HAS a purpose and my mom was the one who told me to do it anyways (or at least gave me permission to do it) and so we got in this huge fight, all because he didnt shut off the lights >.> then he went and tattled to my mom, something like "you better get your daughter in check, cause shes running her mouth" this was AFTER calling everyone in my family except my sister worthless, and she just asked me whats happening,so I told her, seriously, these people are so ridiculous....

I don't really know the whole story here but they really have some nerve talking to you like that. I'm assuming they're being allowed to stay there. It's your house, they shouldn't be running their mouth stare Well, maybe not the house in your name but still.

That's really rude. They're staying in your house. Even if they're paying rent, your family could kick them out any time right? But it sounds like all of your family usually turn out the lights. When you stay at someones how, you should respect their rules and how they live. If everyone else is turning lights out when you stay somewhere, you should too. It's not like it goes against any religion or is a big difficulty to take a few steps to the switch, and turn it off. Unless of course THEY would like to pay the electricity bill.

^ That's unfair. That's cheap and they should atleast be respectful and turn lights off etc..... I hope your house is big enough and you do get time to yourself away from them?

uhg... rude and obnoxious... I am big on conserving electricity. Turning off the lights, unplugging things, etc. My old room mate was bad about all this, but we never got in fights about it. Mainly because it was MY house and she was renting a room.
And to run off and tell your mom... I HATE people like that. I see a lot of people like that at my job, you say something to them and they run off and tell on you. Grow up... seriously...
I hope things get straightened out, or that they leave XD

As I said in the quote of Arashi, they need to stop running THEIR freakin mouth. <.<
Idiots. >.>
It really isn't that hard to turn off a light, people!
Here, I'll show you how to do it:
Step One: Walk over to the lightswitch
Step Two: Reach out your hand
Step Three: Flip it down(or up or to the side whatever your light is) with your finger
Step Four: Celebrate that you actually did something productive
xD
