Does anyone else have this problem right now??? I've been avoiding doing my college apps foreverrrr and they're due soon!!! I've been making such a huge fuss over the essays and it probably wouldn't even be so bad if I just sat down and got them done. The worst part is is that I'm only applying to 3 schools and I'm making a huge deal! I'm so lazy.

Its terrible!! I've been working on these apps forever and the due dates are coming up fast! Most of my friends have already submitted like six while I have my meager 3... rolleyes

i'm applying to like...6 i think. i've started the apps, but i haven't even started the essays. unless yours are due waaayyy sooner than mine (nov 1-30) i think you'll be fine smile

haha yeahhhh thats around when mine are due too..... I have all the apps done, just none of the essays..... audition repertoire is keeping me very busy

Ummmmmm I am already in a college class...and I am only a sophomore in high school...but I am probably gonna be the same way when I actually have to apply for a college, procrastination!! lol

taking extra college courses in high school is really smart. I know a few people who got a few courses out of the way during high school at our local community college and well I guess that gets them through college faster. I have a few AP classes that will hopefully get me college credit when I go.

yeahhhh its the whole application thing thats not going well for me.... my grades are fine, and my audition music is going well, its just the whole getting my but moving and applying.

I did the same thing when I applied to colleges...and I only had two applications to fill out. I can't seem to get motivated until I have a deadline breathing down my neck. x_x

Is everyone writing their essays about band? I wrote one about marching band and one about choir, haha.

uggh idk what to do!! One of my schools is asking for a one to three page personal statement about what my plans are as a musician and how I will contribute to the school!!! IDK how to answer that!! I know that I want to play in a major orchestra but thats not a very realistic job.... I don't know... all I know is that I want to play and only have to worry about music and practicing and getting good, and playing 10 hours a day.
