It'd been quite a long time since she was by the beach. Maybe it was safe? It'd been so long since Tyyne had seen...him. It must have been safe. And it was getting colder lately, surely he would find a much warmer place to hang out or he'd freeze in this water! Tyyne hugged herself a bit, rubbing her arms as she walked along a part of the boardwalk that extended out over the water. Had to get over her fear eventually, right? She huddled into her jacket a little, ears flicking against the cold wind. It was really pretty out; it was cool, windy, the water was about as calm as ocean water got at a beach, and the water was really clear. She could see her reflection! Not only that she could see into the water. That was the important part.
Tyyne giggled at the little fish swimming around, blinking when she spotted her reflection. Now, Tyyne's not a very vain girl...in fact she's the opposite! But when she saw the scale in her hair in her reflection she almost freaked out; it was the same scale as...him. B-but she found this scale on the ground! Yup! Wasn't his scale. Nope. Was just similar looking. She fixed her hair a bit so the scale clip wouldn't fall out, gripping the edge of the dock after and leaning in closer to get a good look at the water down below. It wasn't close enough for her to reach down and touch, the boardwalk was kind of high up to her, but she could still see it rather well! It was so pretty!
It was a busy day out on this particular boardwalk. Kids were running around, teenagers were skateboarding, people had taken their dogs off their leashes to let them run around free...if Tyyne wasn't careful she could very easily fall in.

Leviathan was stalking prey that was going to be his lunch, having gotten a taste for fresh sea food. He would wander far and wide, even outside of his own territory, to get the best of the best when it came to various fish, shark, birds that were foolish enough to float on the top of the water, some mammals, and anything else that caught his eye and made him think 'you would be delicious'. Currently he was stalking after a rather large fish that seemed to be moving at a slow pace, likely due to the fact that the water was getting colder. He didn't mind though, the cold water meant that fish were easier to catch... at the same time that did make things a little boring, didn't it? He liked it when they fought back, made him work for his meal, but he wouldn't complain since food was food.
As he followed the fish he suddenly realized that he was near to a dock of some sort, likely one infested with various humans. He gave a grumbling sound, barred his teeth, and surfaced just enough so that his eyes came up over the surface of the water so he could see how many he was dealing with. He didn't want to draw to much attention to himself when he was fighting with the big fish after all, there could be dangerous people among them, knights and dragon slayers... but instead he saw something far, far more important, "Princess." He murmured, giving a grin. So she had come back to visit, had she? Back to the water's edge and looked as though she were looking for him the way she was gazing into the water. Well now... he was going to have to go and visit he thought to himself, sinking under the water before he started to slither forward.
If anything he was careful, while all of him wanted nothing more then to rise out of the water and steal what was rightfully his he knew that with all the humans around there would be some bound to protest a princess-napping that was done right in front of them. He would need to be stealthy...

Absolutely no sign of him yet. Good. She was feeling less nervous and more relieved as she sighed and stood up again, rubbing at the back of her neck with a tiny smile. This wasn't so bad! This stuff could be enjoyed with Leviathan wasn't around! But she was still terrified of falling in, not because of him this time but because she knew...she couldn't swim. She'd never even been in the water excluding for baths. Her body was awkwardly shaped, she doubted she'd be able to swim anyway if she tried...and the water looked so deep. She swallowed hard and walked carefully along the dock, being careful where she stepped.
At one point she stepped on a slightly rickety floorboard and she gasped, clinging to a nearby lamppost like that would stop her from falling. It was okay. All it did was creak under her her hoof. That's all. It barely even moved! It was okay. It was alright. A few more skateboarders joined on the boardwalk, letting out loud obnoxious cries as they sped down the dock. Tyyne gasped and froze, trying not to move. Don't hit her don't hit her don't hit her...!

The sound of the wheels on the boardwalk was a sound that made Levi's ears ache a little since it sounded that much louder under the water, "Horrid sound." He muttered as he swam along, making his ways to the shadows under the dock. He had no idea what was going on up there but he wanted nothing more then to take those wheeled... things away from those humans and then beat the riders with them, it would both make everything peacefully silent and would give him a way to blow off some steam. Maybe later though, right now he was stalking a particular deer princess that had eluded him for sometime now.
Once he reached the underside of the dock and had pulled all of his coils under it he lifted his head to look up at the deer girl that was standing above him now and he started to formulate a plan for stealing her away.

These teenagers were really rowdy. They seemed to be racing each other. Oh dear...she'd have to be careful. Tyyne did her best to stay out of their way, keeping to the edge where they seemed to be avoiding. She didn't feel she was being watched for once, normally she could but this time she didn't. A few of them went whizzing by her and she gasped, freezing where she was until they were past.
The danger gone, Tyyne continued on her way...that was until a pair of boys tried to avoid each other and prevent a crash and one of them slammed into her from the side. Tyyne let out a shriek and was thrown off the dock, trying desperately to reach for the edge but missing it by a mile. She landed in the water below with a loud splash, flailing and kicking her legs wildly. Augh! W-which way was up? Which way was up?! She couldn't...wh...where was...sh-she couldn't breathe! Tyyne somehow broke the surface and gasped for air, splashing and flailing as she coughed up water. She knew she couldn't do it! This was impossible! The boy that had crashed into her rushed to the edge, his eyes wide. "Dude! Someone help her!" He called out, looking around. Really it should have been him since he knocked her off in the first place but apparently that didn't connect with him. Oops.
Tyyne coughed up more water and sank a bit, whimpering and kicking her legs desperately. She didn't want to drown! She didn't want to drown!

Leviathan gave a jolt when something rather large hit the water and then set to flailing about, kicking up a lot of bubbles and waves. His eyes closed for a moment before he opened them up once more, able to see better what was going on... and then his eyes went huge, "What in the..." What was that crazy deer girl doing? Had she seen him and was jumping in to greet him? If so she apparently had no idea how deep the water here was... he waited a moment, watching the way they were flailing before it slowly filtered into his brain that she wasn't so much swimming as she was almost but not quite drowning.
He sank under the water when he heard someone shouting babout how someone needed to help her and he swam forward to where the girl was, making a circle around her to tangle her flailing legs in his coils and her up upper half with one arm, "Sheesh Princess, there are easier ways to get my attention." He told Tyyne as he moved toward the dock at a snails pace since most of his coils were occupied with keeping the deer girl's head above water.

Tyyne bobbed a few times, whimpering and doing her best to keep herself above the water as long as possible. People were gathering at the dock, frantically trying to figure out who and how they were going to save her. What, were the teenagers all stoned or something?! She didn't want to drown! She didn't want to die! Tyyne kicked and flailed, splashing all over the place until suddenly she smacked something that wasn't water. Huh? Did someone finally jump in to save her? Oh what an amazing person! Tyyne's ears perked and her eyes opened wide, a look of hope on her face as she turned her head to see who it was.
...O...oh god...oh god! No! Her ears drooped and her face fell into a look of pure terror, pushing at Leviathan as he began to swim with his coils wrapped around her. No! Nonono! No! Let go! Oh god! She'd rather be drowning than saved by him! "I-I wasn't...n-no! Someone help! Please! Let go of me! L-let go!" But everyone seemed to think she was just in shock, clapping and cheering for the brave person who just happened to be in the water and saving the poor girl who'd fallen off the dock. Her teeth chattered and she shivered, whimpering and trying to free herself from Leviathan's hold on her. No! Why did it have to be him?! Anyone but him!
"Get away from me!" She whined, pushing harder at Leviathan and coughing. Tyyne didn't seem to realize he was the only reason she wasn't completely underwater right now.

Leviathan gave a chuckle as the girl set to flailing around that much more when she was tangled up in his coils, "You really think me letting you go is a good idea?" He asked of the deer girl and instead of letting her go like she wanted him to do he continued on his way, reaching one hand out catch hold of one of the support beams of the dock. He looked up at it then toward the shore and made a face, "Gonna have to head in that direction, I can't lift you and they seem to want to stare instead of help." Worthless humans! They all needed drowned he thought in an unfriendly manner before he started to make his way toward the shore.
Every step of the way, so to speak, seemed to be made more and more frustrating as the deer girl struggled and shovked against him, making it a lot more exhausting then if he were just swimming along at his own pace, "Your making saving you rather difficult, Princess, do you really want me to let you?" He asked, giving her a look. He was lucky enough in that he was able to breath under water when her flailing shoved him under but he was sure she wouldn't be so lucky as that, surely deer weren't made to breath under water if they weren't swimmers? He couldn't be positive but just to be safe he did what he could to keep Tyyne's had above water.
"Your a... brat..." He muttered as he swam.

Of course him letting her go was a good idea! It was a great idea! It was the best idea anyone had had all day. Yup. Totally. Until she was reminded where she was when she suddenly swallowed water, coughing it up and clinging tightly to her...savior. Eugh. He...he was saving her. When he said she was making this rescue difficult she whimpered, and when asked if she really wanted him to let her go she shook her head and hid her face against him. "Nopleasedon'tletgoI'msorrypleasedon'tletmegopleaseIpromiseI'llbegoodpleasedon'tletmego!" She whimpered, giving a tiny cry when she bobbed with him under the water. She gasped for air as she resurfaced, clinging tighter to Leviathan.
Tyyne pouted as she was called a brat but didn't say anything, her teeth too busy chattering from the cold water. It was really cold! How could he swim in this!?

Leviathan was more then a little pleased when the deer princess set to begging him not to let her go. He wasn't about to do so in the first place but it was nice to have her begging in such a sweet manner, "You should ask me not to let you go more often! I rather like the sound of those words coming from your mouth, Princess." He said in a strangely happy manner, giving her a smile. The sea dragon's tail lowered down toward the floor of the ocean, to try to figure out exactly how deep it was where they were treading water, "Mmm... almost there since I can sort of reach... though you know its going to be even colder once you get out since your soaked and its windy." He warned Tyyne.
He was never happier then when he felt his tail drag against the bottom, showing that they were getting in closer to where he thought that Tyyne could reach the bottom, "Almost there, stretch your legs out since you should be able to touch the ground any time now." He told the deer girl, glad that she had stopped struggling since that meant she would long longer be trying to drown the two of them... not that she could exactly drown him but she could drown herself with all the flailing.

Tyyne was just going to blissfully ignore that request, whimpering and keeping her face hidden against Leviathan as he moved them through the water. Just keep swimming don't let her go don't try and take her somewhere else and kidnap her please, please, please let him let her go after they were safe again! She didn't see the smile, and honestly probably would have tried to get away again if she had. Maybe...maybe she'd be able to just leave and go home after this! He'd saved her, so maybe he wasn't so bad? No, that was impossible. This boy was crazy there was no way he would just let her leave. Sigh. He had a point though, a point that was made stronger when a breeze hit Tyyne's shoulders and she shivered and clung tighter against Leviathan. It was true. It was windy, and it was cold, and she was soaked to the bone. A lot of good her jacket was doing her! She frowned and clamped her mouth shut as best as she could, burying her face against his neck with a tiny whimper. Stupid boys! Why had they not been more careful with other people on the boardwalk? She hadn't been the only one walking so close to the edge, why were they even riding so close to the end when it was possible for them to fall in? Stupid...stupid boys.
At his words Tyyne gasped and lifted her head, turning her gaze down to look down at the bottom while she did as he suggested and tried to reach down with one of her legs. It nudged against a rock and she gasped again with delight, hugging him tighter and nuzzling her cheek against Leviathan's with joy. Eeeeee! They were almost there! C-could she walk? Would he let her walk? Tyyne stretched her legs out to try and reach all of them toward the ground, kicking up a little sand underneath the water. "Oh, Leviathan! Thank you!" She thanked him sincerely, though she was trying to slip free from his grasp as she did so. She could reach so that meant it was okay, right? Yup. He'd saved her. Thanks! Job well done. You can go now, Leviathan...!

He could tell from the way she was moving that she was going to attempt an escape when they got to dry land, as such he tightened his hold on the deer princess as they got to where both of them were able to move forward in a manner that wasn't swimming. He gave a pleased sound once they reached the line where water met land and he looked her over, "You really need to either learn how to swim or stay far from the water, really... what would you have done if I weren't around? Silly girl." He muttered, actually sounding as though... he were scolding her? As though he had room to scold anyone over anything given the level of crazy he worked on and all that he'd done thus far in his lifetime.
"Now that you are successfully saved, my cute little deer princess, what sort of reward are you going to be giving to your knight in shining armor?" He asked of her, giving her a rather toothy grin and awaited her answer eagerly. He was all but betting that she was going to be displeased with his demand for a reward but he couldn't help but to enjoy teasing her just a bit. And it wasn't as though it were his fault, in fact it was her own fault for making sure that she had his attention completely on her so often.

She gave a squeak when she felt the hold around her tighten, frowning and wriggling against him as she had been earlier. It was safe to let her go now! Come on! She wasn't at risk of drowning anymore unless she fell on her face and couldn't get up for some reason or another. Good thing that wasn't likely to happen, eh? Tyyne was actually rather surprised to suddenly hear him scolding her, her struggling even stopped so she could just stare at him in shock. He was scolding her? Leviathan, the psycho dragon who was under some kind of delusion she was a 'deer princess' and insisted on harassing her and 'kidnapping' her every time he laid eyes on her, was scolding her for being pushed into the water? Seriously? "I-I don't think I can swim and...and...I..." He was right again...what would she have done? Surely if he hadn't come along someone would have jumped in before it was too late! Her ears drooped and she frowned, lowering her head a little in shame like a scolded puppy. It wasn't like she wanted to be pushed in the water, or was expecting to, the water was just so pretty she wanted to be able to see it! Without him popping up and ruining everything. And look how well that worked for her! Ugh.
A breeze blew and Tyyne shivered, hugging herself and huddling into her soaking wet coat. She looked a mess; her hair was soaking wet and looked disheveled, having fallen out of the pretty hairstyle Evari had put it in for her, even her scale clip was hanging on literally by a few threads of hair. She could feel it swing as she moved her head, taking a moment to pause and fix it so she wouldn't lose it. It was about then that Leviathan made his demand and she froze, her eyes wide and her jaw dropped. No way...what?! He wanted a reward?! But...but...! Well...he did save her...if he hadn't been there when he was she would've been in trouble. Tyyne frowned and sighed, rubbing at her cheek and glancing up to see his grin; she shuddered again but this time not because she was cold. Because she was really cold. "Wh-what do you want...?" Wait! No! Forget she asked that! Tyyne suddenly remembered his warning from the last time they met, a look of panic washing over her face. No way was she kissing him! So instead Tyyne did her best to distract him by throwing her arms around him in a tight hug, praying over and over in her head that this reward would suffice. Yay a hug! That was all he needed! Right?

He looked the girl over in a curious manner before nodding, "Yeah... you don't really look like your shape is one that would prompt good swimming..." He mused, looking her over in a curious manner. She seemed rather strangely shaped, as though he could talked, and didn't look as though she were ever going to be a good swimmer, "Just think, instead you have your ability to run fast with all those legs of yours instead." Which was a shame if you asked him, all those legs meant that she was able to escape from him that much easier. It was due to this that he kept her many legs a little entangled in his coils as they got out of the water as he didn't want her to race off the moment her hooves touched the ground.
The end of his tail set to swishing as he gazed down at her, "What do I want?" He seemed to be thinking about it quite seriously from the look on his face, "Let's see... what do I want..." He mused, though before he could even figure out a possible reward the deer girl was hugging herself against him tightly. His eyes went a bit wide and he gave a happy sound, arms sliding around the torso of her human half, hugging her back, "Aww, I knew that you liked me, Princess." He sounded rather pleased with this turn of events, more so even then if he had tried to steal a kiss from her. Freely given affection, it was by far the best thing that she could have given him in exchange for his timely rescue.

"Don't get any ideas. I don't like you." Tyyne grumbled, shivering against him and clinging tighter. He was warmer than she was...maybe she'd just...cling to him a little longer. She cuddled closer against him and closed her eyes, tightening her hold. This was okay, as long as he didn't try and make her kiss him it'd be okay. She was only doing this because she was cold! Honest! It was freezing with the cold air and the cold water and her clothes and her fur and her hair...it was not a nice experience.
Tyyne sniffled and coughed, shivering again as a cold breeze blew through her. Augh! Why was it so windy near the beach?! She just wanted to get out of the wind and cold, she wanted to go someplace warm! She sniffled again and let go of Leviathan to try and walk away to find someplace to get out of the cold where she could dry a bit more comfortably, blinking and looking down when she realized she was trapped. Again. Ugh, why was she not surprised? Tyyne frowned and looked up at Leviathan through her soaked hair, pouting and trying to pull herself free. "Th-thank you b-buh-but let me go, pl-p-ple-please..." She muttered, her teeth chattering. Socoldsocoldshewantedtogetoutofthecoldnowpleasepleaseplease.
