I looked around and didn't see a thread about this, so I thought I would share it!

Good Guide is an iphone app that rates various brands on how they effect the environment, treat their employees, help social causes etc. I have played around with it some and it's really interesting!

One thing I have noticed from browsing through it is that Seventh Generation is usually the highest ranked brand in its categories. Which has caused me to switch from Publix Greenworks to it.

I love Seventh Generation as well as Nature Clean.

So far, I had two big surprises. One of Green Works by Clorox had a very high rating. Very surprised. I though Clorox had "green" alternatives just to hop onto the bandwagon. Second surprise, my facial moisturizer Earth Science Almond Aloe didn't score as high as I had thought it would. Hm. Happy to find out that my Jojoba oil brand is higher. I like how you can see where the product stands up. The Earth Science, even with a lower rating, is still a lot higher then most companies.

I will be going through my cupboard with my other brands. I may make some switches depending on the data. Thanks for sharing!

I LURVE that app! biggrin

Its made me boycott tamagotchi because I learned how Evil Bandai is!

EDIT: I discovered them because of the iphone/ipod touch app. The website is great too. xD

You want one? I have a ton and since I'm trying to get rid of a ton of stuff(because of home issues, ill likely be living n my car once i'm 1 cool and i'd like it to go to peeps who will use it. razz
