Name: Isis

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Race: Hylian

Profession: Mercenary

Theme Song: Dont You Push Me // Tribal Ink
Theme Song: Happy Ending // Sugarland

Roleplay Color: #01028e

Appearance: text text text blue eyes blah blah blah blond hair yadda yadda yadda petite.

Personality: Isis is a spirited girl, a little wild though. Not ladylike as most girls are expected to be. She is more of a tomboy really and she is really a kind person with a bit of a cold streak. As long as you’re not her target she will be sweet as pie. She is extremely competitive, a result of being the youngest, but she isn’t a sore loser.

History: Isis was raised on a ranch with her three brothers and her parents. Horses were the trade and although they didn’t get customer’s often, when they did it was like a fair day for Isis, running around getting into the way and quizzing the customers on how they would treat the horse(s) they bought. No one ever seemed to get bad at her, attributing it to her youth and small stature. She was the youngest of all the kids, even her twin brother was born 2 minutes before she was. All and all though, it was a pretty good life. Isis would compete with her brother’s all the time to try to one up them. Being the girl, and the littlest they always picked on her in the way brother’s do.
One day a man and woman came to buy some horses, and as Isis was running around, like usual, her father snapped at her and told her to go away. This was unheard of, and she retaliated in a stubborn teenage manner and saddled up her horse, riding away from the ranch in a bout of sullenness. Unfortunately, the people burned her home to the ground and killed her family in the process of stealing all the ranches horses. Isis fled up a tree when she saw them coming, knowing something wasn’t right. And when she returned home chaos met her eyes, he mother and father lay slain on the ground her two older brothers as well, now dead in the doorway to the barn. Isis looked for her twin, not feeling the emptiness she was sure would come if he died, but she couldn’t find him.
So she set out, revenge on her mind, and she found someone willing to train her in the art of violence and battle. A warrior he said at first but soon Isis learned what he really was, and that was a Mercenary. What would have once disgusted her now intrigued her and brought her one step closer to her goal. As payment for his services Isis went on her first mission and brought down an enemy of her trainers, the initiation into the trade had begun.

#5cc2a9-Onxon #01028e-Isis #9d0919-Baladeva

Isis sighed and continued to gaze up at the night sky, trying to figure out how to word what she wanted to say. "I'm looking for those thieves, although you've probably already figured that out, and I'm looking to kill them... You've probably figured that out as well." she said, turning to look back at the fire, she was going to tell her story, it was something she needed to do. Maybe it would help her heal, if anything it would at least explain why she was out to kill people. "6 years ago, that ranch was my home, that family.... my family.." she said softly, staring into the flames of the fire, absorbing the sight of the flickering light as she continued her story...

A normal day, it started out just like any other regular day. Isis woke up in the early morning with her brothers to feed the horses. "Piggy back!!!" Using her bed for leverage Isis jumped onto her eldest brother and wrapped her arms and legs around him with a giggle. "Your too heavy Isis!" he said comically, slowly sinking towards the ground as Isis giggled even more "No I'm not, your just not strong Davy." she teased him and wrapped her arms around him tighter as he jumped up and zoomed around with her attached, "Not strong you say?!" he said in mock outrage and zoomed out their bedroom door with the 13 year old still attached to him.

Once they got into the barn Isis detached herself from him and grabbed the feed bucket to start on the horse feeding. She sang the lullaby her mother sang to her, it was her favorite song, and fed the horses, greeting each one with a kind comment and a kiss on the nose. "Good morning Philip, your looking fine today. Faline your coat is so shiny!! Rosco your growing up to be so big!" this continued until all the horses were fed, Davy taking them out one by one and brushing them down while Volare and Alta cleaned out the stalls. Everything had to look it's best in case of buyers after all. Isis ran to where they hung up the tack and got her horses halter, the name Toast etched lovingly into the leather. "Toast!!! Come on boy, ready for a ride?" she called to the buckskin stallion of which she had named after her favorite food at the age of 9. Toast stuck his head out of the stall and whinnied in response as she put on his halter and brought him out to be saddled up.

Coming out of the barn Isis looked over to see that they had customers already. That was weird, it was just before dawn, the sun wasn't even up yet. They never got customers this early. Isis shrugged and walked Toast over to the people that her parents were talking to, her mother straitening her hair out anxiously as she hurried over to them. "Two horses, good ones. The best you have." the man was saying, he had dark hair and Isis didn't trust the look in his eyes as he looked over at her. "If you want the best you have to be the best." Isis chimed up from where she stood, looking at the woman in the group with a smile. The cold frown she was met with made her falter and look at her parents. "Really. You have to be the best, our horses are special and deserve people who will love them like we do. S-so if you want the best you have to be the best." she told them defensively, a childish pout on her face. She didn't like these people, she didn't want them to buy their horses, she wanted them to go away. They didn't look like nice people at all the mans eyes were mean, and the woman's were too. "Mom I don't like them, I don't want them to have our horses." she told her mom, whispering loudly. "Will you please do something about that child." the woman snapped at her father and Isis looked at them incredulously, her blue eyes wide and reproachful. "Da-" "Isis maybe you should go." "But Dad!!" "I said GO!" her dad snapped at her and she took a step back before outbursting in a childish rage. "Fine!!" she yelled back at her dad before running and mounting her horse, galloping away from the ranch, down the road before stopping abruptly under a tree and sitting there with the pout still on her face. "They shouldn't be buying horses, they aren't nice people." she told her horse sullenly and looked back towards the ranch. A prickly feeling feeling started at the back of her neck, and soon her whole body was covered in goosebumps. "Toast, how long does it take to buy a horse?" she asked, not expecting an answer in any way at all. But it was taking too long. They should've been gone by now, galloping out with the two poor horses they bought. Isis didn't think they were the type of people who talked much, so they should've been gone by now. She shook her head, there was noting to worry about, maybe the just didn't like kids? But their eyes... their eyes were cold and mean. She sighed and patted her horses neck, running her fingers through his now tangled mess of black mane. The run had tangled it up and she would have to brush him when she got home.

Hearing horses hooves she looked back at the ranch and was shocked to see smoke rising from the direction of her home. The noise from the horses became louder, there was too much noise, something wasn't right. There shouldn't be so many hooves. Out of the road that led to their ranch the entire herd of horses burst from the pass, the two people and a pair of wolfos herding the horses down the dirt road, Isis looked on with wide eyes and scrambled up the tree she was under, swatting Toast to make him run away from her hiding spot.
They're stealing our horses... she thought to herself and looked back at the ranch with worry. The smoke was dark, like what it looked like when they burned the hay that had gone bad... the thieves swept by without so much as glancing up and once the sound of hooves faded in the distance Isis jumped down from her tree and whistled to Toast. The smoke was growing thicker and she mounted her horse at a run and urged him towards their home.

Isis blinked, swallowing and wiping off her face from the tears that had started to flow. "They were slaughtered... bite marks, sword wounds... the entire field was on fire. They had used that to get the horses out of the pasture. I couldn't stand it, I couldn't stay... I didn't even bury them... I looked for Volare but I couldn't find him, all I could do was leave. she said with a sniffle and closed her eyes.

[Solo Entry #1]
//The summoning of Onxon.//

Isis had recently been paid in the form of a summoning tome and she now held the book open in her lap. The first couple of pages were a how to, somewhere in the middle was the page with the actual esper summoning on it, and the end was what to do if you did it wrong and had to correct it. Although Isis thought it was pretty dumb to have the "if you ******** up" part after the summoning page but whatever. Isis was sitting outside in Hyrule field, under a tree, when she remembered the book in her bag. The guy had assured her that this was more valuable than rupees, and harder to come by. Although the guy probably thought he was ripping her off, Isis had heard of these, and even done some investigating into getting one or two for herself. A companion on the road would be nice, as well as the benefits of another's powers manifesting into yourself. The particular tome the guy was trying to pawn off on her was Entanglment and it sounded useful enough. She wasn't sure what sort of creature would be summoned but either way it was worth a shot.
She had opened the book up and begun reading at page one, and was getting towards the center. She already knew she was going to read the section on messing up before she summoned, or tried to. That way she wasn't flipping through pages while fending off an angry esper. Or evil, or malicious, whatever it was that came out. According to the book they were supposed to be peaceful. Somehow Isis just didn't think that something that manifests itself inside you like a parasite (a useful parasite ) would be peaceful. Either way, she was starting to understand why they put the "what happens if you ******** up" part after the summon page. Some of the things that could happen could sway quiet a few people from wanting to summon one at all. She sighed and shook her head, flipping back to the center of the book. She may as well give it a go. Although the worst that could happen wasn't death, it wasn't as if that frightened Isis too terribly much anyways.

She traced her fingers over the page, over the letters, and mouthed them to herself. Not uttering any words so as not to summon this esper by mistake before she wanted to, she repeated the script soundlessly to herself a few times to make sure she was getting it right, and pronouncing it correctly. Finally she sighed and licked her lips. She was nervous, she realized, she didn't know what was going to happen, and unknown always bugged her. Don't worry about it you chicken. Just do what you set out to do. she thought, scolding herself, and uttered the incantation without hesitation. The pages of her book started to ruffle slightly and she watched it with a morbid curiosity as they began to turn and whip about as if in a strong gust of wind. Thunder crashed, she was pretty sure it was in her mind but not certain, and the book dissolved in her hands. In its place floating in front of her was a green creature about the size of a house cat, floating... He... she.. it? It had horns atop its head and wing-esque type things on its back. It almost looked like a reptile "Are you going to introduce yourself or just sit there staring you rude Hylian?" Isis jumped and looked at the wind guardian she had summoned. He (she was pretty sure it was a he by its voice) spoke she shook her head, she needed to stop acting like a little uneducated kid.

"Yes, I'm Isis. What is your name?" she asked him. All the creature did was snort and roll his eyes, making her wonder what she had done. "Your certainly a dense one. Your supposed to name me. After you summon me. Don't you know anything?" Isis frowned, her temper flaring up momentarily "Well I'm sure you were called something over on your side where you were floating aimlessly with nothing to do!" she snapped at the creature. He chuckled and floated closer to her in a lazy manor. "Onxon." he said with a wry grin and faded from sight, mostly just to freak her out a bit when he reappeared. Isis looked around when her esper disappeared and growled in frustration. The book was gone, which made her wonder again why the help section was after the summoning page, and she didn't know where her esper had gone off to or what had just happened. Feeling a bit scammed she stood up from her spot and brushed her hair back out of her face that had been whipped around during the brief wind storm-esque thing.
