The Yasashii Tribe are known for being warm and embracing. The tribe dwells by a ocean, having once lived in the mountains but changing locations when the tribe realized others would have trouble approaching their home.
The tribe is known for their usage of herbs, making medicines. Their tribe is located among an area where very rare and seemingly only local herbs are present. Due to this, Yasashii has an advantage with herbs that some tribes do not. The tribe makes strong medicines. The tribe is often approached much like a fox hospital, foxes that do not belong to a tribe and have no way to heal themselves often approach this place for free help that has no strings attached. Yasashii helps and never forces a fox to repay them.
The tribe is hardly strict at all, and yet the members are very talented in their skills and always on point with their duties. The tribe accepts any members, whether they have a bad past or seen bad by others.
They open their home to foxes who belong to no tribe and don't ever want to, allowing foxes to settle with them until they are ready to leave. If a fox is found unhealthy they will heal them within days and let them return to the wilderness they so love.
The tribe worships the Higher Being, Dahlia, the Modeity of Healing. Yasashii believes in reincarnation, that life goes on and is reborn, and believes Dahlia is the rebirth of a fox that once protected Yasashii's lands long ago, or so the stories say. However, this isn't true, but the tribe still loves this story and exchanges it among themselves and are not aware of the fact that the Higher Being is in fact not the fox of olden days.
Dahlia often assists the Elder, loving to help the Elder when she prays to her. Dahlia will leave herbs the tribe needs often outside the path to the campground, trying to pretend she didn't when the Elder questions her. In fact, she has a light and airy personality, sweet and humorous, she sometimes will arrange sticks into images for the tribe to see when they wake. Though, she can become serious when the Elder needs her and often will help the Elder sort out their problems.
The tribe is gentle and accepting. While they spend most of their time making medicines and making their home more accepting to those that need them for shelter.
Modeities of the tribe and their domains (keep this to a reasonable level): Dahlia, Modeity of Healing.

It all started with a barely grown modifox. She had been traveling for a while, having left her home because she started to feel as if she was a burden. She was to gentle, to peaceful and to quiet. She did not fit in with the others much, so she had left while promising to visit.
She hadn’t been prepared, insisting she go by herself because she didn’t wish to drag others down. Upon her travels she began to climb a mountain during winter, her soft paws not yet tough from walking on them constantly and aching, and her still kit soft fur to thin to protect her. She grew ill quickly and began to starve, the winter being harsh and destroying anything that could provide her food.
Eventually, on a day that would surely have been her last had things not played out as they did, she stumbled upon a trail that somehow had not been buried by the thick snow. She followed it weakly, collapsing right as she saw a series of caves. When she woke up she was inside a cave, a fire burning inside the middle and fresh killed splayed out in front of her. Though bewildered she was trusting and ate the kill, warming herself by the fire. She left to find water, finding it in a pond nearby and returning to the cave. Each day she woke up there would be a fire and fresh kill for her, one night even berries.
During the last night Kithara felt a strange sensation fall over her. Lured by this feeling, Kithara left the area she was being held, searching longingly for the source. When she fell asleep she'd dream of golden foxes and a blurry tribe.
After what seemed to be a week she was greeted by an older fox. He told her of a story of the old tribe that once stood there. He told her that it was time for the tribe to be risen once more, and that he was searching for that one fox to take over the olden tribe. His great-great-great grandfather had once been a part of that very tribe, and had passed the story down throughout the generations. He turned to Kithara and told the vixen that he believed she was the one. Kithara resisted this idea, not finding herself fit to lead a group of foxes. How could she when she had left her home solely because she did not fit in? Panic-stricken, Kithara left the old mans home, and wandered upon Kea.
Kea spoke wise words to the vixen. Inspired by the Elder, Kithara realized that the way Kea's tribe loved her, and the way Kea watched over them like a protecting mother, well, she wanted that. When Kithara returned to the old man he asked her if she was prepared to become the Elder of the olden Yasashii tribe. Nervous but certain, Kithara agreed.
She would become the new Elder.

Ranks
Elder- Kithara Guardians- Amalia and Ari el Shamans- Iah, Voltaire Hunters- Nitya, Tabby Cat, Catalina Gatherers- Akela, Tenma Carers- Amy, Embry Scouts- Gwyn, Poko, Nora Apprentices- None Member- Sugar
Definition of Ranks
The Elder is the fox that watches over the tribe. All final decisions are brought by this fox. The responsibility of the tribe falls under their paws. There can only be one at a time, but the title can be handed down if the Elder is unfit for their jobs or dies. Can pray and speak to the Modeity.
The Guardians protect the tribe. There are two so that they can divide between watching the healers and the sick. There will only ever be two, and often the Elder will confide in them during hard times. In case of the Elder going missing often the Guardians will watch over the tribe until the Elder returns.
The Shamans are the main healers and know everything of their job. There is no limit to how many Shaman's there can be, and this rank is highly encouraged for others to join. The Shamans can use small amounts of magic, mostly involved around aiding their healing capabilities. The Modeity will sometimes place herbs outside the caves for them. The shamans are the ones that make the medicines. However, Shamans are like doctors, they solely heal and that is it. The after care and the keeping clean of the sick and such is the job of a Carer.
The Hunters is a useful job. Hunters must kill for the tribe, however they can only kill aged creatures and must do so as painlessly as possible. They only hunt when they have to, and when they are not hunting will assist Gatherers. All Hunters are blessed with the heightened senses. They tend to retrieve kill needed for medicines.
The Gatherers go out and find berries and other food for the tribe. They also find herbs for the Shamans. Gatherers can sense when herbs and food are nearby. When Hunters hunt, one or two Gatherers follow to carry back the kill.
The Scouts are used to find information, send information, or to exchange items between tribes or members. Scouts are blessed with telepathy that only Scouts can use. Others cannot respond telepathy, only able to hear what the Scout says unless it is another Scout or the Elder. When not out exchanging info they are often sent to patrol the land to make sure a fallen or ill fox is brought to the tribe to be helped. They patrol the land and watch out for threats and foxes lost or need help.
The Carers help raise kits, also they have the job of mentoring Apprentices. They can sense auras so that they can monitor the feelings of kits and adults alike and find ways to keep peace, and are often found helping Shamans whenever they can, having slightly better healing abilities than Hunters, Gatherers, and Scouts. They also help Shaman's make medicine when they don't have kits to watch over. Carers usually stick with the sick and kits, tending to both needs. Though often Carers split into groups. One half cares for kits when its kit season, the other cares for the sick as to not pass germs on to the young, because as a tiny kit they are to young to be vaccinated.
Apprentices are a special job to Yasashii. All kits are called Apprentices, learning from Carers the skills of healing and their future jobs that they are later given based on skill and performance.
Members do everything when need be, assisting those that need them and helping bring others to the tribe.

((This is the story that everyone believes is behind the Higher Being Dahlia.)
One day, long long ago there was a large tribe made of several different types of foxes. No one here was judged and no one here was outcasted. Even those with a broken past was accepted with warm and loving arms. The tribe was known for its peace and love that often infected those that came near the tribe.
The tribe's name was Yasashii, and never was hated or judged. Their Elder, Fyoran, watched over the tribe happily, making sure everyone was safe and conflict was avoided. He was an old and wise Elder, close to his time where he would pass on along with his mate. His mate gave birth to only two children, a golden fur Dahlia, and a son, a grey fur Hexus.
He trained the kits in the matters of running a tribe, noticing Dahlia was more compassionate and observant than her sly and pathological liar brother. When the time came that they grew up he announced Dahlia would run the tribe when he passed on.
Shockingly, Fyoran lived for many years after, until a sudden disease broke into the tribe. The disease whipped out first the kits, for they were far weaker, and worked its way on the elderly. Dahlia and Hexus were hit with grief when their father contracted the disease, though both took it differently. Dahlia ran off to search for a herb that could stop the disease while Hexus took control of the tribe. The tribe began to rebel under Hexus's ruling, finding his rather violent manner and sly ways unfitting for Yasashii. Hexus left in anger, abandoning the tribe while Dahlia, believing her brother was taking care of the tribe, was out searching for anything to break this dreaded disease.
When Dahlia finally stumbled upon a rare herb she had only heard stories off, she returned with a medicine she believed could help her father and the other infected members. What she stumbled upon was a tribe nearly disbanded. Only the sick had stayed, and her fathers mate. Dahlia, heartbroken, set to work of curing the foxes. This lasted for a week. Healing, praying to her Higher Being, healing, praying. It was a long and tiring effort, but worth it when one after the other began to stand on their own.
The members of Yasashii returned when a once sick scout slipped out in the middle of the night to retrieve them. Upon their return nearly every member had a herb in their mouth that Yasashii did not possess. Delighted, Dahlia searched for an area to store these new herbs and found an open cave. After this event, it became a ritual to have the tribe split for a week and return with herbs once a year.
Fyoran passed away later that year due to old age, and so did his mate. Dahlia inherited the role of Elder, and her tribe adored her. However, Dahlia never found a mate. Due to this, when she passed the tribe could not find an Elder in mind, and disbanded.
Stories have passed since than from the now deceased members, passed to their living children. A story of a golden furred vixen. The Higher Being that lived among the areas was named after Dahlia after due time, no one could remember her original name after the Yasashii members deceased over time. Though, the Higher Being doesn't seem to mind.
