Myra ran into the room and slammed the door. She collapsed onto her bed and stared at her ceiling, which was filled with the night sky. She caught her breath as a meteor shot past her. Myra closed her eyes and relaxed. Suddenly the stars on her ceiling grew brighter until the room was overwhelmed with light.

Greg stopped in front of the door and paused, his hand hovering above the wooden barrier between the hall and the commander's room. He tapped the door 3 times and paused. "Myr- I mean, Commander, permission to enter?" he asked looking around to make sure nobody was watching...how will i face her? I shouldn't have come. This is the first time since I met anna that there's been a calm phase....his thoughts wandered. He realized that one of his closest allies might now want to kill him for basically betraying the blue army, his family. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door again. "Myra..." he whispered.

The door burst open with a flood of light pouring out the door. "What?" She asked hoarsly as the night began taking over the room. The carpet shifted into grass and the sky darkened, reavealing the mysteries of the universe. Stars scattered accross the sky in a super nova. Time seemed to move millions of years in a minute, causing bright colors of gasses to appear on the roof. Her face was read and she looked like she had been crying. She wiped her eyes quickly to avoid embarassment.

Greg hadn't known why he came other than just a feeling. He scrambled his brain for a reason quickly. "I wanted to check on you...i'm sorry that i removed the blade without warning..." he paused and laughed a bit. "Actaully, i had to otherwise you wouldn't have let me."

Myra gave a weak smile, happy he hadn't seen her cry. Then her usual sarcastic mood returned before Greg could see a flicker of sadness. "Well you could have warned me. Without anastisia it caused me extreme pain and I could barely move quick enough to block the major artery in my leg!" She exclaimed. "But I guess your right, I wouldn't have let you if you'd have warned me." She said this time smiling for real.

Greg smiled lightly, but it disappeared quickly...this is extreamly awkward....He shifted his balance and looked her in the eye. "I'm sorry...for everything" he muttered.

Myra's gaze softened. " Greg no. You don't need to apologize. I know your against the war. I am too but, it's hard you know." She said wincing as if the words hurt. "I miss the goos 'ol days, where we'd go on scouting missions, remember?" She asked and them motion next to her if he wanted to sit.

Greg sat beside her and smiled. "Yeah, those were kinda fun....we've both come a long way." he said remembering his first time introduced to the blue army. He had seeked their refuge to protect his family, only to find out they were killed anyways. "We were both common soldiers for a while, and well, you climbed all the way to commander, and I somehow managed a minor roll of authority as well."

Myra smiled and nudged Greg gently. "I did try to promote you, remember?" She said remembering the time when Greg came. She had tried to cheer him up by showing him the ropes.

"Yeah, you did." Greg replied with a grin. "But there is no way I could hold a position in charge of even a small portion of the army. I'm more of a lone-wolf kinda soldier." he paused and stared at the sky above them. "I do all my work by myself so that nobody is hurt.." he traced the specialist insignia on his uniform. "that's why i belong as a specialist.."

Myra smiled. "Your so full of yourself. You won't hurt anyone." She said lightly. Her smile faltered as she remembered Anna. "'Greg listen, it wasn't your fault." She said for Greg's sake. Myra couldn't stand any of her soldiers being upset, especially Greg, who wasn't only her soldier, but her bet friend.
