The past few weeks had been, without a doubt, some of the worst that Lilith had had in her entire life. ...Well, "worst" would be putting it a bit strongly. "Most interesting" would be a much better description of the words she had said and the emotions she had felt. All were strange and foreign things. She figured that she might as well workout in the HQ's gym. The exercise was actually prescription, in a sense; the HQ's therapist [whom Lilith visited often] recommended exercise for Lilith's stress and anger issues. What better time than now to try her method out? It was the first time that Lilith had entered the Rocket exercise facility, and she felt a bit embarrassed to be here. She prayed to Arceus that there would be none of her fellow Rockets there, and it seemed that the higher powers were with her this day, for there was not a soul in sight when she entered. Lilith breathed a deep sigh of relief and walked in. It was a spacious room, filled with machines and various contraptions made for who-knew-what. The large room was rather cold, and Lilith shivered. [The fact that she was wearing a pair of shorts and a sport tank-top did not help either. She had taken the liberty of changing into her workout clothes in her room and making her way through the less-crowded halls.] Lilith took an elastic band that was wrapped around her wrist and tied up her long brown hair, leaving out only the piece of hair that was dyed bright red. After tightening her tennis shoes once more, she moved near the center of the room where there was a clearing and began stretching.

It was just one of those days.... Again. Cal was bored and had nothing she needed to do. She was tired of playing video games and her movies where just boring her. There was no one she could think of to hand out with. Who really hangs out in the HQ. Well, lots of people did, she just didn't have many "friends." So there was only one thing to do; go to the gym.
She yawned, making her way out of her room and stretching up to the ceiling. Her hair was pulled into a low, short pony tail and she had on a dingy white shirt and shorts. A gray bag was slung over her shoulder containing her water bottle and her pokeballs, though she didn't plan on realeasing any of her pokemon anytime soon.
There weren't too many people who noticed her walk to the gym and she didn't notice them. Most people, or so she thought, had to do something that day, but when she entered to see another person preparing to work out. Cal smiled, she wasn't the only here. That made her a bit more comfortable. She sat her bag down next to a tread mill, only reaching down to touch her toes briefly before hoping on the machine. This was the one she used whenever she could, which was a lot of the time. She did come down here at odd hours of the night. She soon got into a steady rhythm with the machine, not noticing that one of her pokeballs had released Blossom.
The Ivysaur checked her surroundings; this place was very familiar, but the girl in the center was not. She inched her was over curiously to figure out what the girl was doing.

Lilith began her warm-up with several stretching kicks on each leg, then stretching out her shoulders and arms. She could feel a lot of tension in her body, most likely built up over years of stress. She exhaled through her nose and picked up a nearby jumping rope. After measuring it out and finding it to be the right size for her, Lilith began jumping. It didn't take long for her to tire herself out. Breathing heavily after a short amount of time, Lilith threw the rope down on the ground. She interlaced her hands behind her neck, trying to catch her breath. She could feel the frustration welling up inside of her, and it took willpower to force it down. That made her even more tired. Lilith retrieved her bottle of water and took several large gulps. After doing so, she gasped and wiped her mouth. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw an Ivysaur making its way towards her. Lilith calmed down significantly and smiled at the Grass Pokemon. "Well, hello there, young one. What're you doing here, mm?" At that moment, Lilith put two and two together. If a Pokemon was here, that meant that it's trainer was not too far off. She looked up and, to her silent dismay, she saw the said trainer not fifteen feet away from herself. Oh God. Lilith grimaced and stood, turning herself away from the other. If she could just ignore her while she exercised... Lilith tried to distract herself by sitting at an exercise machine. She fiddled with the weights until she found a weight that wasn't terribly hard for her to lift and proceeded to lift the bars. Interesting...

After momentarily mimicking the girl's jump rope with her vines, she froze. The girl had noticed her. But she looked nice.... Blossom ruffled her leaves looking back at her trainer who was engrossed in her workout. She decided to keep following the girl lifting weights. She sat and watched her, but what was the purpose of repeatedly lifting those heave objects?
Cal noticed, from the corner of her eye, an Ivysaur following the other Rocket. But it looked familiar, was it?..... She glanced over at her bag to see a pokeball open to the side of the others. That was definitely Blossom. She turned her head to get a better look at the two, her brown eyes sparked with intrigue. Blossom wasn't the one to wonder off, so this was an interesting sight indeed.

Lilith continued keeping an eye on the Ivysaur as she lifted the weights. It was curious little Pokemon, she deemed. Curiosity was admirable, but the saying was often true: "Curiosity killed the Meowth." Despite that, the Ivysaur's company was actually somewhat welcome, and it was certainly preferred over the company of humans. After several strenuous attempts of working on the weight machine, Lilith gave up on it and carefully set the bars down to their resting position. Sitting upright, she smiled at the Ivysaur. "So, I assume that that woman over there..." Lilith gestured her head in the other Rocket's general direction. "...She is your trainer, no?" She exhaled through her nose and continued. Her usually cold eyes glowed with a warmth not seen by any human. From her short pocket she pulled a small berry treat and held it out for the Ivysaur to accept as a sign of peace. "You know, I've always liked Grass types. They seem to be very down-to-earth most of the time." She chuckled to herself. "My first Pokemon was a Charmander, and I love her deeply, but she can get so hot-headed, right?" As she spoke to the Ivysaur, Lilith completely forgot about the other Rocket that was with her in the gym.

Cal smiled from her treadmill. This was very unlike her. She wouldn't go more than five feet away from her without an order. But now, she was following this girl they had never met around the gym. There was a quiet beeping of buttons and the machine came to a halt. Cal stepped off casually, walking further away from the two.
Blossom listened to the human talk; nodding at the mention of her trainer. She was taken aback by the generous offering of the berry, hesitating for a moment, then taking it in her vine with a coy smile. Blossom didn't know much about other grass types, but she knew she was pleasant, but Skye, the ever ready Pikachu, was too energetic sometimes. At the sound of buttons being pressed and her trainer removing herself from the treadmill, her ears perked. She scampered over to her trainer and tugged on her wrist, dragging her over to the girl.
Cal was a bit confused, but smiled none the less. "So I see you've made a friend." She turned to the girl, "Hi, I'm Cal."

Lilith smiled pleasantly as the Ivysaur took the berry treat from her. She rested her hand on her chin, watching the Pokemon. She felt so much more at ease around Pokemon than anything else... All the workout did was make her tired. As Lilith looked up, she saw the Ivysaur gallivanting off towards some unknown location. Lilith sighed. She was happy for the company... She looked up once again and saw the Pokemon running back to her. She smiled in greeting to the Ivysaur, then quickly put her guard as she saw the human being dragged along with her Pokemon. Inwardly, Lilith cursed. Dammit...Lilith stood and stretched her arms nonchalantly. She regarded the woman with a small nod of her head and a glance in her direction. Right now, that was the best she would get. "Cal, huh? Pleasure to meet you..." She let her hands fall to her sides. "...I'm Lilith."

"It's nice to meet you too." She put the utmost kindness in her voice. "I think I've seen you around Lilith." Cal smiled as she loosened Blossom's grip from her wrist. She bent down and placed a hand at the young Ivysaur's head, whispering softly, "You can't pull me around like that sweetie." It felt as if that would bruise into a nice ring around her wrist. But now it was quiet. An unsettling, awkward kind of silence had settled upon them.
Blossom could almost feel Lilith's demeanor change when she brought Cal over, but she didn't know why. She was so much nicer and open when it was just them.... Her blossoming flower seemed to droop with her emotions while she watched the two.

Lilith grimaced ever-so-slightly and looked the new human she was forced to interact with over. She didn't look... terribly unbearable, but Lilith was cautious. Despite all that had happened during her time in Team Rocket, she was always apprehensive around people. Habit, she assumed. She blinked at the new girl's statement and realized that she has seen her around beforehand as well. Where exactly she did not recall, but it was somewhere... Perhaps it was on the raid? It was all a blur now. Lilith chanced a quick glance at the Ivysaur at Cal's side. The sad look on its face was enough to make Lilith's heart melt. In retrospect, she wished that she had brought one of her own Pokemon with her to keep the Ivysaur company while she was held captive by this human. A kindness sparkled in Lilith's eyes once again as she spoke to Cal. "...You have a lovely Ivysaur. She looks happy to be with you."

Blossom tilted her head up to gaze into her trainers eyes, smiling a bit now. "Why thank you." Cal couldn't help be feel proud that at least one of her pokemon respected her and loved her, Skye was a whole different story. "I think she's really happy to have met you." It wasn't like the little Ivysaur to perk up when meeting new people. It was rarer still that she went off to introduce her to the grunt as well.
