Breathe in...Breathe out...Breathe in...Breathe out...

Faris was in a state of deep meditation and all she was aware of was the feel of the wind around her and the sound of the chimes hanging in the gardens in the backyard of the Blue Moose. She felt calm, happy, and at peace right now. Shifu Chan had demanded she do more meditation to keep herself in a calmer state of mind ever since he had heard that she had punched a smaller boy speaking words of insult toward her. She was told that she shouldn't let such things bother her so much for there will always be someone somewhere to insult her.

Breathe in...Breathe out...

Yes, this was a good way to get rid of her aggression. She felt wonderful! Why didn't she do this more often? Probably because the mass amounts of sitting still to get to this point used to feel so boring and ugh. The incense she had burning nearby also helped relax her. Faris was content but there were other things she still would rather be doing but for now this was a good replacement for these things! The quiet was so relaxing and she wasn't expecting anyone to drop by any time soon.

Finally! No one wanted her to come over, there wasn't some party Tyyne wanted to go to, she didn't have to take Tyyne anywhere and disappoint her when she forgot to pick her up again. She was free today. She'd made sure of it too! No one was bothering Evari today. Not a soul. She had packed up her bag with her presents for Faris and her own DS, making a quick stop at the flower shop near her house to get a small bouquet of pretty flowers for her best friend. It wasn't quite as grand as the first one, but that was only because she didn't need to get her one like that every time. This would do for now until the next time she got her flowers. She even wrapped a long rainbow scarf around her neck a couple times, grinning down at it. It was bright and rainbow-y just like her! She hoped Faris would like it. Evari hummed happily as she walked into the Blue Moose, hiding the flowers behind her back as she looked around for any immediate sign of Faris. None here! But Luis was at the bar and so she bothered her for a second to find out where Faris was, hurrying in the direction Luis guided her in. She grinned widely when she spotted her best friend sitting on the ground outside, not realizing why she was doing this. What was that smell? It was kinda nice. She liked it! But more importantly, Faris was here!

...And she didn't seem to notice her yet...heh...

Evari resisted the urge to squeal and crept up as quietly as she could behind her friend, peering around her for a moment. Her eyes were closed. She was so quiet. She looked so out of it even like this...was...she doing that meditation thing? Oh dear! For a moment Evari frowned and looked unsure of how to go on, torn by this little discovery. It was kind of rude to bother someone when they were trying to concentrate on something but...this was her Faris. She needed to know she was here! It'd been far, far, far too long! And so she very quietly got down on her knees behind Faris, placing the flowers down on the ground at a safe enough distance for them to hopefully not be harmed by what she was about to do.

Suddenly Evari squealed loudly with excitement and threw her arms around her best friend in a tight hug, leaning all her weight into the -- smaller? When did that happen? -- gargoyle girl. "GUESS WHO~!" She giggled, nuzzling her cheek against Faris' head. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Fariiiiiiiis!

Faris was unaware of her surroundings or who was in them for that matter. She was happy and at peace for the moment and even starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel of woe she had been feeling off and on. Her body had developed in ways she had not expected but there ways to fix that, right? She would just have t--

Suddenly something was on her and squealing and wrapping her arms around her. There was a weight upon her that she couldn't quite explain but she recognized the voice soon enough, even the squeal was painfully obvious to the young Gargoyle because she'd recognize it just about anywhere!

"'Vari!" she called out happily and uttered a small giggle, she was glad that she hadn't reacted badly to being yanked out of her meditative trance. If she lashed out at Evari she'd never forgive herself!

"'Vaaaaaaaaaarrriiii. I missed you," she said in a slightly chiding voice. She hadn't seen Evari in what had seemed forever! Though it was just as much her own fault as it was Evari's she supposed. There was nothing stopping Faris from going over to her best friend's house, nope! She knew where it was.
PostPosted: Fri Oct 15, 2010 2:12 am

Oh, good. Evari was very grateful that her forcefully dragging Faris out of that meditative state didn't end in pain for herself. Very grateful indeed. The girl was like stone! It'd hurt a lot! She giggled and nodded at Faris' correct guess, pressing a kiss to her cheek with a delighted little 'Mmmmmmmmmmmwah~!' "That's right~! Such a good girl! You deserve a prize." She giggled, swaying side to side with her precious. Evari nuzzled her face into Faris' cheek and hugged her close, nodding her head again at Faris' little scolding. "I missed you too~." Evari said in a soft apologetic voice, closing her eyes and just holding Faris for now. Yes, she'd missed her very much. She wouldn't pin any blame on her best friend. Nope. Not at all. Faris had been more than capable of coming to see her, yes, but so was Evari...and Evari had been too ashamed to come see her. And yet she did nothing to stop what she was ashamed of! Oops!

"I missed you sooooo much!" Evari said again as she gave Faris a squeeze and then let her go to crawl around her, picking up the flowers as she did and holding them out for her friend with a warm smile. "Fer you~. Figured since you liked the last ones maybe you'd like more?" She did have other gifts of course if Faris wasn't interested in the flowers for some reason. Evari sat down on the ground with Faris, playfully draping her legs across her friend's lap. She took a moment to take off her bag so she could sit more comfortably without it pulling down on her shoulder, scooting close to drape an arm across Faris' shoulders. Evari gave her friend a curious look over even with herself draped all over the girl, blinking and looking very surprised by what she saw. Her friend had boobs now! Wow! They weren't quite as large as Evari's but they were definitely there! Her friend was growing up! Yay! Evari giggled to herself, her gaze turning up to Faris' face again. She had such a pretty face~. "So whatcha doin' out here all by yerself?" It sounded boooooring!

Faris laughed lightly at the praise and even leaned into the kiss on the cheek. She loved Evari so much! There was no one that could take Evari's place no way! She tilted her a bit, "A prize? For mes? But yous bein' here is my prize!" she laughed and leaned into the nuzzling and now returning the hug happily. "I should come overs one day though. S'not fair that you keep havin' to comes over to me," she said thoughtfully but then Evari was here now so she may as well enjoy it!

"I missed you too~ lots and lots." She giggled softly, "an' yous bigger an' even prettier," she keened as she took a better look at Evari. Faris always thought Evari was prettiest thing ever. All the colors and brightness about her made Faris feel happy and eager to see her, though even if Evari was dull colored she was certain that she would love her friend, of course. She took the flowers and laid them on her lap and cooed over them happily, "I loveded the last ones..Was sad for a bit but Momma showed me how to dry them so I can keeps them forevers." Faris said cheerfully and she'd do the same with these as well.

"I was meditating. My kung-fu master says it helps me gets focus and stuffs. Hey! That's a pretty scarfs," she said finally noticing small things about her friend like what she wore.
PostPosted: Sat Oct 23, 2010 7:04 pm

For a moment Evari just stared at Faris in utter adoration, a warm smile on her face as she hugged her friend tighter. Only Faris ever said such sweet things! Things like her being a prize just for being around sounded silly and trivial but Evari definitely loved hearing it from her best friend, especially when she'd missed her so much. She gave a shrug at Faris' musing, playing with a bit of her hair and tickling at the gargoyle girl's cheek with the end of her own colorful braid. "S'fine, love. I don't spend much time at home these days anywaaaay, you'd need to caaaaall me and tell me you're coming over're somethin'. Oooh! We should have another sleep over!" She said excitedly, really looking forward to spending even more time with Faris. She just had to, it wasn't right for her not to. It didn't make sense. Hell, if Evari could have her way Faris would never leave her side. Just turn the girl into a pocket gargoyle! Not that Evari usually wore pockets or anything...but...you got the point.

It made her happy to hear she was missed, indescribably so even; Evari had been so worried Faris would stop missing her if she spent too long feeling too ashamed of herself to see her friend, like she'd just give up, shrug and move on. That was an idea that broke her heart. She giggled and blushed a little at Faris' compliment, though she was used to hearing she was pretty it seemed...sweeter to hear it from Faris. "Thank you, 'Rissy~. You're very pretty yourself!" She couldn't see why Luis had said she was so down! Faris was beautiful! She was always beautiful. She could wear a burlap sack and she'd look beautiful. In Evari's eyes? Faris looked perfect. Her eyes widened a little and her jaw dropped at what Faris said she did with the first bouquet of flowers she'd sent her, looking a bit awestruck. Faris...was keeping them forever? B-but she didn't have to do that! Really! Evari would be more than happy to replace flowers whenever they died, she really would! She'd never felt so touched before! ...Er...well...emotionally touched, anyway. In her her excitement she leaned in close until their noses were nearly touching and then paused visibly, seeming to rethink her actions before she turned to press another kiss to Faris' cheek and then rub their noses in an eskimo kiss. She was used to kissing Tori and Kay and other acquaintances, but she'd never do that with Faris unless she was the one who wanted it. Somehow it seemed...wrong to do anything otherwise. Not that she didn't want to kiss Faris! She'd love to kiss her Rissy, but only if she wanted that. "Thank you, Rissy. It means a lot to hear that~." She said honestly, closing her eyes and leaning against her friend. Faris really was the best friend a person could ever ask for.

Meditating, huh? Sounded booooooring! Evari would fix that, but before she got the chance to say anything Faris complimented the long scarf she was wearing. Evari grinned proudly and unwrapped it from her own neck to loop it around her friend and tug her close with it. She was just being playful, of course. "Ya like it~? Good. Because I got it just for you! I've got looooots of presents for you." To make up for not having a present when Faris got her the DS. Sure, she knew she didn't have to do it...but she really wanted to. Faris' brothers had been nice enough to seriously help her pick out things Faris could like.

She returned the hug affectionately and giggled softly when she found that her cheek was being tickled by her own braid. She reached up and pawed at the offending braid a bit in a half-hearted fashion. Faris didn't mind it in all honesty but it was a bit distracting when she was trying to talk with Evari after not seeing her for so long. Faris blinked a bit, "Truuuues, but stills, I coulds make more effort, yis." Starting from now until whenever well probably the end of time. She wigged a bit, "Yis! Sleepovers, I had fun when we dids that," Faris said happily and openly. She really did like the sleepover she had with Evari even though her mother had ruined their fun to a certain degree.

...Stupid Mother.

Faris reached up and poked at Evari's nose when she blushed, "I am not pretties, I'mma mess," she said simply with a small smile. She really didn't enjoy the things her body had gone through. She wasn't ready yet to have these additions that were firmly implanted upon her person and according to her mother they would only grow larger or possibly stay the same size. Not that she ... disliked bosoms as a whole she just didn't like her own at this juncture. They always got in the way and made weird motions when she jumped and practiced sometimes, all in all Faris'd be happy without them. Especially since they challenged how she viewed herself and it was a challenge she hadn't yet mastered. She beamed a bit and leaned into the kiss on the cheek, "Welcommmmmmme," she rubbed noses back. She loved Evari so much she almost was certain she couldn't love her friend more or if she could she wasn't sure how it was possible.

The young Gargoyle blinked as she was suddenly in possession of the colorful scarf she was admiring, "R..Reallies? All mines?" she asked in an awed tone. She hadn't had anything THIS colorful before. It was so pretty and reminded her of Evari, when she thought of her good friend it was with colors, so many colors.

Evari smiled and shrugged, settling down with her friend. If she felt she could make more effort then okay, but Evari still wasn't going to pin any blame on her dearest friend. She wasn't so happy right now, and Evari tended to lock herself up when she was unhappy, so she understood. Both girls were at fault in some way or another! "It's okay, really. Don't worry about it." She assured her sincerely with a warm smile, laughing and nodding in agreement about the sleepover. She had a lot of fun, yes! The most fun sleepover she'd ever had...and Evari had had a lot of sleepovers lately. None of them were fun like when she'd spent the night with Faris, they were all the same thing; a night of sex, wake up in the morning, have breakfast, go home. With Faris she had genuine fun, she truly enjoyed any second spent with the girl. She loved Faris with all her heart. "I did too! We could have one tonight!" She had no plans, no intentions to leave Faris. Nope. Not at all. She was going to make up for not being around.

She made a little squeaking noise as her nose was poked, about to retaliate when Faris instead said something very silly. Very, very silly. Evari just stared at her, her eyes wide and her jaw dropped. A mess?! Not pretty?! How could she even...what? That didn't even make sense? What planet was Faris living on that made her think she was anything but the most beautiful girl Evari had ever seen?! Evari let go of the scarf to instead hold Faris' face, her thumb's brushing against the girl's cheeks. "Faris, what are you talking about?!" She began in pure shock. She was crazy! Crazy! "You're beautiful! You don't need makeup, or crazy outfits, or things to accentuate something on you...you're gorgeous, Faris! You're perfect in every way!" Evari was completely sincere with every word. She honestly couldn't see how Faris could possibly believe she was anything other than pretty. Had someone told her she was anything but pretty and beautiful? If they had then she just needed to know who and she'd go kick their a** right this second! She wasn't just saying any of this because Faris was her friend, she truly meant what she said about Faris being beautiful. Evari threw her arms around the girl to give her a tight hug, burying her face against her. So that was why she was so down? She wished she'd come sooner now! She'd wanted to! She should have! That was...just...wrong!

Evari smiled again, glad that Faris was impressed with gift number one. She nodded. "Mhm, it's all yours and no one else's. 'Cause I love you and want to shower you in gifts~." And so that was exactly what Evari intended on doing. "I brought my DS too." And a new game to go with it for each of them!

"Kies," she said softly as Evari told her not to worry about it. She'd worry about it but to herself for right now because she always worried about things when it came to Evari for whatever reason she just never really voiced it. She just didn't want her friend to believe that she was abandoned for whatever reason it might be. Faris was just trying to work through some things - and somewhat failing. Kay had helped the Gargoyle a great deal but it seemed the resolve she had gained at the time had wavered when she was left to her own devices. Such a silly girl. Faris blinked at Evari, "Reallies? Tonights? It'd be okays?" She asked sounding hopeful, the Gargoyle wouldn't want to set back any plans Evari may have had.

She was taken aback by Evari's reaction to her words; she hadn't expected something so passionate from her friend from the touches to the words. Faris fell silent for a moment before she shook her head and tried to pull away though suddenly she was hugged and the Gargoyle became overcome with emotion and a couple of tears came down. "I ams a mess. I looks weird...." she mumbled softly with a small sniffle as she slowly clutched back at her friend.

"Thank you 'Vari~." Faris muttered happily as she felt happy with something that could remind her of her best friend at all times. She would wear it always or as often as possible. "I loves you too," she replied with a small giggle. She seemed to wiggle a bit in anticipation when the DS was mentioned. They could play together!
PostPosted: Sat Oct 30, 2010 5:32 am

"Mmmmhm! I'd really like that." She had no other plans today or tonight, and even if she did have any that didn't involve Faris they'd have been happily forgotten. Nothing took priority over her girl. Evari wanted nothing more now than to stay here with her best friend and make her happy, because clearly something was wrong in her head and telling her she was anything but beautiful and perfect. Seriously! She was beautiful! Why didn't she see that? When she tried to pull herself free Evari merely held her tighter, only relaxing her grip when she stopped doing that. She wasn't letting go of her. Not now, not ever, and especially not when this was something she might need.

Evari bit down on her lip and squeezed her eyes closed as Faris reiterated that she was a mess, shaking her head. No, no, no! She wasn't a mess! She didn't look weird! "Fariiiiis, you're not! Why do you think you're a mess?" She asked softly as she pet at her friend's hair, nuzzling her cheek against hers and rocking with her. "If anyone here looks weird it's me~. I mean, come on...I'm wearing a rainbow...I am a rainbow! A big walking rainbow with a funny glow and too much makeup." She loved herself and her own appearance, she was a vain little thing, but Evari would bash herself for Faris. Evari would do anything for Faris. If Faris wanted her to change something about herself? Depending on what it was she'd...she'd try. Her appearance? Sure. She'd cut her hair or change her clothes or get rid of the makeup...she'd do anything. Especially right now! Was there anything that she could do to cheer up her friend?

She smiled and nodded her head at Faris' happy muttering, still petting her hair and hugging her tight. "You're very welcome. Anything for you, sweetheart." She murmured quietly, her smile growing when she heard the giggle and felt her begin to wiggle around but not in a way that made it seem lie she was trying to get free from the hug that wouldn't end. Her heart fluttered with pride and joy when Faris said she loved her, her glowing growing brighter because of it. "Wanna go inside then? The flowers will need water soon, and I can give you the rest of your presents while you talk to me...seriously, Faris." Evari pulled back enough to rest her forehead against the girl's, looking into her eyes despite only one orange eye being visible because of the way she styled her hair. "You're so beautiful~." She sang softly, giving her a squeeze. "Why would you think anything different? Do I have to find someone and beat them up for being stupid and making you think like this?" If it was all her own doing she obviously wasn't going to beat up her friend, but if it was someone else then she'd be more than happy to do this for her.

"I woulds too," Faris replied with a smile. She loved being around Evari it made her feel better about so many things just to be talking to her and seeing her. There were very few people that made her feel this way even just by being near them. She loved everyone rest assured by Evari held a special place in her heart for several different reasons and this was one of them. Even just looking at her colorful friend was uplifting to her soul in many ways. Quietly she leaned just a little on Evari careful not to rest her weight on her with a small frown appearing on her lips once more.

She didn't want to say it. Saying it meant she acknowledged that it was there but Evari was being so insistent about it that she couldn't find it in herself to tell her to stop, "It's my body," she murmured softly, "it decided that it's a girl," she muttered her tone turning a bit bitter. There was no deciding about it of course. It had always been a girl's body but she hadn't felt the affects of it until she had grown lately. "Kay...Kay trieds to convince me that jus' cos I y'am a girl I am not any weakers than boys and stuff," she smiled a little and shrugged, "but sometimes...I...It bothers me still...I feel weak and weird...I dunno myself anymores," she admitted her voice going soft. Quiet.

She felt like a stranger to herself. Faris hated it so much she just wanted to....

Her thoughts were broken into by Evari and she hugged back and smiled a bit, "Yis, insides, we talk. Drink teas or somethin'," she replied her voice growing louder again. She waited for Evari to get back up, really the presents were now the last thing on her mind. She wanted to just to stop feeling this way. The Gargoyle's face flushed a bit as Evari complimented her, "Nnooo..." she murmured in protest.

No one made her feel this way...No one in particular. She hadn't even gone back to try and play football with those boys yet she was too scared to...
PostPosted: Tue Nov 02, 2010 5:25 pm

Then it was settled! They'd have another sleepover tonight! Though Evari didn't have any clothes with her...eh, that was alright. She was used to not having extra clothes for sleepovers anymore, though if Faris insisted she'd just take her along to get some things at her house then; Evari was not leaving Faris' side today. Evari hummed softly to her as she finally leaned on her and stopped fighting the hug, rubbing Faris' back and petting her hair. She really did had nice hair! So pretty and colorful, even with the black...huh...come to think of it? A lot of girls she'd been hooking up with had black hair. Oh, wait no...Alice was blonde. But her eyes were green. Huh...that...was odd. Evari shrugged it off mentally for now, it was something she could think about later, she didn't want anything to distract her from Faris. She'd just wish she'd tell her what was wrong!

...Oh...that was all? Evari blinked and leaned back enough to see Faris, tilting her head and making no effort to hide her confusion. Why should she hide it? She was confused. Very, very confused. She didn't understand, and how could she? Evari loved her body. The moment she saw her own breasts she just about exploded with happiness. She was very vain! But Faris..even Kay couldn't get through to her? Well then! Evari would just make up for what Kay couldn't do. Clearly it was her duty...and she was happy to take it up. Evari cupped Faris' face to get her to look at her, smiling warmly and raising a brow. "Faris...honey...light of my life, sweetheart, best friend anyone could ever wish for in their wildest dreams...you are a girl." She began with a soft chuckle, brushing some of her hair back to tuck it behind her pointed ears. "You feel weak? But why? Are you weak?" She brushed her thumb over Faris' cheek and looked her in the eye, waiting for her answer. Faris? Weak? She couldn't see it. Ever. Her Faris? No way! Naive, incredibly thrown off right now, and clearly in some kind of funk...but weak? No...there was no way. "I don't think you're weak. Confused, but not weak. We'll talk more inside. It's damn cold out here."

Evari got up after that, reaching down to help Faris up if she wanted it before she picked up her bag and Faris' flowers. The flowers were offered to her again, smiling until Faris blushed and protested about her compliments. Now she looked confused again, and fairly worried. Wh-what? "No? But..." She frowned a little, fixing her friend's scarf and linking arms with her. "Make me your favorite tea~. I'll take whatever ya got...hmmm..or I could make it instead! I could serve you for once!" Faris would like that, right? Being doted on? Being waited on? Evari just wanted her to be happy, a frown didn't suit her pretty face.

Faris stared at Evari as she spoke though she didn't even giggle or smile she just flicked her eyes away and moved to pull her face away from the young woman's grasp. She couldn't figure out how to explain it no matter how she brought it up or even tried to explain it...The words just didn't make sense to anyone much less herself. She just...Felt out of place out of her element. Sure her Mother called her 'Girl' many times but...she felt more accepted by other boys when she was more boyish looking. She liked that acceptance they let her play football and everything. Plus the movies she watched ... usually the woman was the weak one...She didn't want to be that... Faris was scared of that. She couldn't look her friend in the eye right now but she shook her head.

The Gargoyle moved to stand with Evari's help quietly. Any joy she may have displayed was gone overtaken by a cloud of some sadness that hung over her head. Sadness, fear, and uncertainty. Even if she was a girl she was terrible at being one anyways.

She took the flowers and then moved to lead the way inside quietly she gazed back at Evari, "We'll make it together," she replied softly offering a small half-hearted smile. For the moment she felt out of her element again. Evari was so sure of herself and what she was. Faris couldn't help but feel a bit bitter and wonder why she couldn't be like that...
PostPosted: Mon Nov 08, 2010 11:02 pm

Faris wasn't smiling anymore. Nonono...this was bad. Faris should always be smiling. Always! Evari couldn't stand to see her sad, and it broke her heart when the girl got so quiet. She couldn't stand it. Faris was perfect why couldn't she see that? Apparently Evari would need to really get in her head if she wanted to figure out even an inkling of what was really wrong and cheer up Faris, get these silly thoughts out of her head. She didn't take her eyes off her friend for even a second, not even bothering to keep it discreet just blatantly staring at her with worry and concern. This wasn't right, this wasn't how a Faris should be. Faris was...like...the epitome of happy and cheerful and cute and just...no! She needed to stop being sad! How could Evari help her?

Evari smiled when Faris smiled, though she did notice it wasn't like her usual ones. That wasn't a real Faris smile. Her eyes turned down to the flowers for a brief moment before she gently took them. "I'll go put these in some water for you first, 'kay?" She was going to dote on her. Faris wouldn't have to do a thing. Evari kissed her cheek and walked away to find something to put them in, quickly finding a vase under the sink while plotting what to do the entire time. She put the flowers in it and filled it with water, putting it down near the window and grinning back at her friend. See? They were so pretty! She was quick to return to Faris' side, or rather stood behind her, draping her arms over her friend and taking advantage of their current height differences. Evari didn't say a word yet, nuzzling her cheek against Faris' with a happy sound...as she slowly put more and more weight against her friend, leaning to the side with her as if she was a victim of gravity.

Oh nooooo~.

It hadn't taken them long for them to get to the upstairs area wither the private kitchen was and everything else as well. Faris let her take the flowers and even let her friend kiss her on the cheek as she aimlessly wandered to get the kettle ready for tea and got out a couple of pouches of oolong tea that her mother had gotten for her. She blinked a bit as she was soon accosted by her friend suddenly had her weight on her. The Gargoyle's tail coiled a bit around one of Evari's leg as she tried to hold up both of their weight.

"Whats ya doin' 'Vari?" she asked quietly at least she sounded vaguely amused rather than annoyed. "Thought we was gonna has a talk not plaaaaaay," she added simply she didn't really minded it would be a fun deviation but still...

She had things on her mind and she wanted to get them all out. If to no one else then at least to Evari even if the glowing girl wouldn't under a word of the thoughts and logic that she would present.

"Evari...Would you still likes me even if I was a boy?" Faris asked curiously.
