It had been months since Joou and her loving mate Ardin had went there separate ways. She enjoyed spending time with him but knew she had to go check in with her dad. So she had come up with the awesome idea to meet here on this cliff. Ardin had agreed to meet her and would be there shortly. Little did he know that her dad had followed along.

 Ardin was feeling giddy as a kit. He was finally going to see the love of his life again, after months. She wanted to check on her adoptive father, which he understood. He didn't have parents blood or otherwise, but it didn't matter anymore. He had his 2 sons and Joou.
She had come up with the idea to meet on a cliff overlooking the ocean. He was practically sprinting to get there. Those that knew him would think he'd completely lost it!
Ardin didn't know if it would just be the two of them or if there would be others. He did want to meet her dad, but he was a little nervous about it.
He was getting closer to the cliff, when he felt like he was being followed....He was able to dodge behind a rock and got behind his follower.
"Nakki, what are you doing here?", he said with a firm tone, but not angry.
Nakki looked back to him and gave a smile. "Father, I just want to be here for support. I also would like to spend some time with the one who is to be my....... mother. But do not worry I will stay in the background. Unlike my brother, Im not a loud nuisance.", he said with a gentle smile, but with a hint of annoyance at the end.
Ardin shook his head and smiled at his son and they continued on and finally reached the cliff. It was a breathtaking view, the breeze was cool and the sky clear. But none was more stunning then his Joou, his heart pounded, it was almost unbearable. He was finally going to see his beloved; he was already smiling from ear to ear.

Joou was lost in her thoughts as she stared out over the ocean. She wasn't worried though. Her mate should be here soon and her father was hiding around in the area watching her. She knew he hated being out in the open. It made you and easy target. She didn't mind though. She just hoped Ardin didn't rush her when he first got here or father might take him out.
