OnryoPersonality: Kasumi's not crazy, she swears.
She only remembers one thing, and very vaguely, from her past - she hated men. This extends to men of this world too. To her, men are chauvinistic, smelly pigs who deserve to Die in a Fire. She won't associate with a man on purpose, but knows she'll probably have to if she has classes with them. Men with authority, like teachers, will be obeyed, but begrudgingly. This hatred of the other gender is the only thing Kasumi can cling to from her past life, and she holds it very close to her heart. Obviously, a dirty male had something to do with her death, she thinks, so which one is it? If forced to interact with a boy her age, she'll be short, simple and snippy to them. She won't wait to make nasty remarks about them too because she could just fade through a wall and be done with it.
With women, she's a whole 'nother ball of ectoplasm. Kasumi is her 'natural self' when around other women. She's kind, compassionate and above all, very friendly. She feels women understand her more, and are indeed the fairer sex. She's a giggly schoolgirl and has a large circle of female friends. She'd be more than happy to attend a sleepover, read gossip magazines or do another girl's hair. She even likes female reapers, despite their reputation for taking out ghosts. They're women! They wouldn't be so cruel. She had a very good relationship with her mother, but she doesn't remember it. Unconsciously, she extends this warm relationship to the women and female teachers in her unlife. In classes with female teachers, Kasumi would likely go above and beyond the call of duty in homework and participation.
When you get to the heart of things, she's really and truly afraid of men, but she doesn't want to succumb to the "weak woman" stereotype. She puts up a front when around the boys and lets it come down when around the girls. Girls are safer, more fun and much less frightening.
Why did they enroll at the academy? She was brought to Halloweentown by a reaper while she was wandering around the mental ward of a hospital. Not knowing anything about how she got there (aside from the reaper, of course), Kasumi opted to enroll in the local Academy to make friends and learn more about what she's become.
Natural Ability: Paralyzing Stare - All onryo possess the ability to stare down their opponent and paralyze them. This is only effective if they keep eye contact.

Kasumi sees and hears things other people can't. As a result, she ended up in the mental ward. She can't stop or stem the flow of these, but she can plant them in someone else's mind for a time! The target of her Fear will start to see or hear things that are not actually there, the intensity of which will depend on Kasumi's strength.
In game terms, Kasumi would roll a 10-sided die. On even numbers, the target is afflicted with visions, audio hallucinations or a combination of the two (it's up to the player). On odd numbers, the attack is ineffective. If Kasumi rolls a 10, the attack is Super Effective! She is Grass Type to your Water Type! O SNAP. (And no, your Water Type does not know Ice Beam. :< )
