A furiously chilling breeze over turned two sets of cream wings so fast that the owner stumbled under the blow. Roman braced himself on his palms to avoid falling face first in the dirt. If there was anything he hated worse than broccoli, it was wind. Since he wasn't able to use his wings properly that meant he was a target to the sick games of Autumn.
He huffed and pushed himself up, digging his talons into the ground. When he looked about the crowd, he noticed that he was alone. Somehow his family had meandered away without him. In less than thirty seconds?! The spawn stood on his tippy toes and scanned the crowd. No go. Gaia's 'Fall Festival' was vast and wide, with stalls spanning out at least a mile in all directions. And he was smack dab in the center surrounded by pumpkins.
Roman snatched up his caramel apple bitterly and bite out a chunk before plopping down on a large pumpkin. Let them find him.

The name of the game had been hide and seek. The siblings had all run off in different directions, mingling with the crowd and tucking themselves away in various locations. Some were better than others - but Mimosa had to be the best, for she had gotten herself so lost even she didn't know how to find herself.
The young girl lethargically moved on, forced to keep in motion by the crowd shoved and pushed until finally she was forced to find refuge. It came in the form of a large pumpkin and someone appearing to be her size. As fast as a sloth child could manage, she made her way over.
". . .Hello. . ." she said softly, inquisitive blue eyes scanning the stranger child. ". . .Lost. . .you?"

An amber gaze looked longingly into a stall where music poured out. The fall festival was such an amazing place for the toddler. So many people and all of the new songs that they brought with them and the instruments. He couldn't help but to walk away from his family to take a peek. He didn't even realize that he had lost most of his family until a pale hand kept the wind from sweeping him away.
"Careful, Key."
Blinking the child looked down at his younger sister, "Aile." Suddenly he realized that she was the only person that he recognized in the crowd. "Where did everyone go?"
Aile shrugged, "I dunno. I stayed wit you."
"Great." Kieran sighed before pulling a bang back behind his ear, "Let's go look for Roman." Surely he'd be able to find his twin in this mess - or at least he would try. Still holding onto Aile's hand the two of them began to walk through the crowd while keeping an eye out for the familiar form of Kieran's twin.

Roman stretched his legs out in front of him before tucking one underneath the other to get more comfortable. A mixture of caramel and apple juice ran down his chin, forcing him to wipe it off with the back of his hand while his wings shifted behind him. With the air of someone with nothing better to do, he turned to see who was coming over and was...stunned. Was that a girl or a zombie?
"'Lo." He quirked a brow and set the apple to the side. "Same. They left me here." Roman leaned forward to examine the girl. "Are you okay? You look tired."

Mimosa didn't retreat from the closer scrutiny. Zombie wouldn't have been a far fetch from her appearance. Pale green skin set off by bright blue eyes wreathed in the circles of almost constant sleeping. Meanwhile, the long, serpentine tail traced the ground and curled up before her, bright orange feathers swaying in the light autumn breeze. More demon than zombie, her crowning grace was the set of ever growing horns that slowly crested from her pulled back mane.
Despite her solemnly exhausted appearance, she smiled and nodded to his query. ". . .Always am, Papa says my father is Sloth. . .and Patience. . .I think. I have four father's though. . .Do you have so many?"

Aile and Kieran walked through the crowd for what felt like forever to the toddler when finally her brother tugged on her hand. "Stop Aile." Blinking Aile stumbled back and nearly snapped at Kieran before recognizing a figure.
"Ro!" She called out though the sound was lost in the crowd. Frowning she followed Kieran towards their brother. Though the older boy looked relaxed Aile was tense and looked ready to punch something-someone. Kieran just smiled faintly, he knew that she was worried about Roman. She just showed it differently...especially when he saw her reach over and punch Roman's shoulder. "Found."
Kieran shrugged lightly, "We got lost too." He commented before looking over at the girl who had been talking to his brother. "Hello." The spawn gave her a smile though Aile just frowned slightly and said nothing.

Roman's creamy wings curled in around him as he hopped off the pumpkin to stand at her side. He slipped his splotchy hands into the pockets of his capri's without taking his eyes off the girl. He shook his head. "I don't have a father. I have three mother's, though. The woman says mine are chas..." he screwed up his face. "chasteetee and wrath."
Looking past Mimose, he saw with some relief his sister and twin. He didn't flinch under her punch, just accepted it and returned it. Then, with some reluctance, he looked at the girl, "S' my twin, Key, and little sis, Aile. And ... I'm Roman."

Upon realizing she had not introduced herself, a soft rose hue stole over her features. ". . .Mimosa. . I'm Mimosa. Pleased to meet you, Roman...an` Key, Aile. . ." Then, taking the exchange a bit literally, she gently reached out and bumped her fist to Roman's arm, barely making impact as her recessive traits pulled the strength lended to any normal child. However, she seemed alright despite this and even giggled softly, offering a soft smile.

Aile tightened her hold on Kieran's hand as the other girl lightly punched Roman. The purple twin gave a fangy smile to Mimosa, "A pleasure." With his reply, the boy's gaze flickered off of her and to his twin. So there wasn't any need to worry after all. His brother was just making friends. Without him. Kieran looked off to the side absently as Aile studied the girl.
"Are you... zombie?" She finally asked with slight confusion. After all she had never seen anyone quite like this girl before.

After a moment's hesitation, he looked down when Mimosa punched him, then back up to her smile. Something about the pathetic attempt made him smile in return. He laughed some, and reached out to briefly ruffled her hair, "You suck."
Then he looked at Kieran and Aile. Roman nodded at his twin. "We lost?" Meaning, 'Have you seen them anywhere?' If anyone could spot someone out in a crowd, it would be Kieran.
