I thought of an idea. Why doesn't everyone in the guild work together to make the ultimate deck or something? No type 1 or 1.5 s**t or anything like that. Just any card that works.

The best deck ever made and still is if it was legal was the original long dot deck...insanley good and still would be if everything in it wasnt restricted...

It should be a blue/red deck! Those are always fun. Red for destruction and blue for counter/control.

impossible.
the reason a deck is so good is due to careful planning and constructing using only key cards, building with a strategy in mind, and with more then one person working on it, the strategies would clash, along with color, and play style (Timmy/Spike/ Johnny...really hard to build a deck that possess all three and is very effective) and thats what we would have. probably 5 colors, each person would end up naming one card in part of a combo, and then the combo would stop there. we would hvae a mish mashed five color deck, by no means ultimate

Well said.
Decks come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and strategies.
There is no one true ultimate deck.

though it is true that there is no perfect deck there is this. there are cards out there that due to lack of thought make it them usful in any deck. something like letter bomb icreases your odds greatly. holy day. even though you cant play with it gleemax. so there is a pretty darn good deck out there with cards like that. It probely could school anything in one move.

oh sure, you can get really good, decks, it could very well be considered unstoppable in the 100 games it' plays, but sooner or later, there would be a deck that can beat it, and thus the continuation for a perfect deck would continue.

ive sone sucha thing a long time ago... and yes.. it was powerfull... it can kill you in evrey way inmagonable.. it was incredabley defencive... it had inf for basically everything, a wrath of god every turn, a " i win " card. (like battle of wits for instance) it ccould mill, burn, mass, and grow.. it was truely a feat to create... but i dismantled it becuse the complexity was too much for the deck to play correctley.. so really a ultimate deck is one that is simple, deals with one or 2 ways to kill a guy, and effective to deed itself from its problm areas.

JamesVonJames Well said. Decks come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and strategies. There is no one true ultimate deck. just to reiterate this point. there are too many variables: First hand. First two draws Opponent strategy Opponent's first two draws Who goes first Deck color and life total also play into this. with all these variables, it is physically impossible to have an "ultimate deck" we can get close, but getting one to work every single time, thats not something that would happen. and think of the size of it. even a counterspell or burn deck can lose sometimes.
