Dex Entry: Manectric discharges strong electricity from its mane. The mane is used for collecting electricity in the atmosphere. This Pokémon creates thunderclouds above its head.
Physiology: Manectric is a mammal-like Pokémon that resembles a blue dog or wolf. It has a yellow mane on its head that it discharges electricity from, as well as yellow clumps of fur at the top of its hind legs and around its front two feet.
Special Abilities: Manectric can discharge electricity from its mane to create thunderstorms and thunderclouds in the atmosphere. The sparks can often start fires. Like its pre-evolution Electrike, it generates the electricity in its fur and mane from the friction caused when it runs. The electricity it discharges ranges from a weak shock such as Thunder Wave to paralyze the opponent, to a strong Thunderbolt to deal large amounts of damage. Manectric also has the ability to learn Flamethrower and Overheat.
Behavior: Manectric is an independent Pokémon; it rarely appears before humans. This may be due to the fact that it summons storm clouds upon entering a battle.
Habitat: Manectric is a Grassland Pokemon, being found in fields and forests with little to no human habitation.
Diet: Like most Pokemon, Manectric is omnivorous, but seems to favor meat.

Ability: Lightning Rod - Lightningrod forces all single-target Electric-type attacks in a double battle to strike the Pokémon with this ability. In a single battle, it will only cause the Pokémon with this ability to always be hit by Electric-type moves, no matter their accuracy. Note that Lightningrod cannot redirect Discharge, as it targets all Pokémon. Lightningrod also gives Pokémon immunity to all Electric-type attacks and raises the Pokémon's Special Attack by one stage whenever they are hit by one. If the Pokémon is Ground-type, its type-granted immunity will take place before the activation of the ability's new effect and the Special Attack will not be raised.
Moves:
1. Howl (Normal) - The user howls loudly to raise its spirit, boosting its Attack stat.
2. Thunder Fang (Electric) - Thunder Fang deals damage and has a 10% chance of paralyzing the opponent. It also has a 10% chance of causing the target to flinch, if the user attacks before the target.
3. Discharge (Electric) - A flare of electricity is released to strike all Pokémon in battle. Discharge damages all Pokémon on the field but the user. It also has a 30% chance of paralyzing each of them.
4. Quick Attack (Normal) - The user lunges at the foe at a speed that makes it almost invisible. It is sure to strike first.Personality
Child: The epitome of energy, Remus will be a bounding and playful kid unable to control himself once he gets going with a constant urge to play. He won't know the difference between gentle play and play fighting and most instances of fun with him will dissolve into wrestling matches. This is probably bad considering he won't have much control over his static discharges at this point and even touching him will cause at least a small shock. If he ends up accidentally hurting one of his playmates he will be a bit too proud to apologize verbally just yet, but he'd quickly fetch a band-aid or do something to make it up to them. Like a puppy, he's quick to jump to action but gets tired out easily and will tend to nap immediately after a play date. Tends to 'go easy' on girls and though he doesn't believe they have cooties or anything like that (lol what's romance?) he does believe them to be weaker.
Teen: A far more mature mindset than previous, he is calm and conserved but not so much that he doesn't know how to have fun. He will joke, play and party but he is generally the one who calms everyone down (or at least tries) when a fight breaks out or something dangerous happens. A mediator, he isn't afraid to get into other peoples business and settle things down if he thinks the situation could escalate and involve more people than necessary but he WILL use force if he believes he must. He acts with compassion, trains himself diligently and is very protective over those he cares for. This protective streak carries over to any females, be they Pokemon or human, as he believes this is just the state of things. Due to his generally serious nature, he tends to get flustered and easily embarrassed by comments of affection, usually resulting in the person getting accidentally shocked with static. His pride has toned down a bit in that he will apologize for wrong things he does, but the way he apologizes has not changed; he will eagerly run to the assistance of others if they ask a favor of him, presenting gifts and first-aid whenever he deems it necessary. He uses his natural Ability with great pride, ready to step in at any moment and defend others against an electrical attack at the first sign of danger (of course, he will likely attempt this with ANY attack, despite possible injuries).
