i think this guy should be the top hero of progress through working with nature, useing intellect.

He was quite a man. The farm where he grew up is near here, and there is a small park and learning center there. They have lots of events for the public, and we have spent lots of time out there over the years as the kids were growing up. Did you know that he started each day with a prayer, asking what he should do that day? It's a great place to spend the day and learn.

There is a program on the local PBS station about Dr. Carver.

Don't know when I'll be back out that way again, Hoshi, but I will be glad to do that......

remember that where I live, anything within an hour's drive is "near here."
