This is the OOC. Brainstorming and other things that do not go in the IC go here. Story
The land of R'aldunt. For years there has been nothing but peace and tranquility under the rule of a great, wise, and kind king. The economy was at it's peak and everyone was experiencing great joy.
But one day, one of the King's most trusted subjects, overthrows his rule with the help of many of the King's own men in his army. This man has obtained a powerful weapon. It has control over darkness. Soon he kills the King and twists his Kingdom into a dark twisted world. People are now struggling to survive. Monsters have become hostile and began attacking people.
The Evil man planned on making the Princess his bride but she refused and with the help of her bodyguard and some of her loyal subjects, they managed to escape.
The small party evacuated the kingdom and took to hiding in a sacred temple. This place is currently being concealed by a spell. But it won't last forever. Legends tell of a legendary hero from another world that once saved this world from a very dark time. The Princess must summon the hero from this temple. She does so.
After meeting their summoned hero from another world, they inform him it's impossible for him to go back to his world until theirs is safe once more. He must find a powerful weapon that rivals that of the Evil King's. But, in order to get THAT sword he must find other special weapons that harness the very elements themselves. Will our Hero be able to pull this off?

These are the special weapons of R'aldunt. These weapons harness the very elements themselves. The swords have a special bond with the Great Espers that dominate the respective element. So the Espers can speak to the wielder and the other special weapons. They each have a name.
Four of the special weapons are needed to unlock the Dark Sword. And four of the special weapons are needed to unlock the light sword. The Dark sword is already unlocked. So four of the weapons are already being wielded by the Dark King's Generals. The heroes will have to eliminate them so they can get the special weapons. The other four they must find. Every one of the heroes will start out with a normal weapon before acquiring the special ones.

She'll get one of the weapons too.
If you notice the heroes have eight slots. And the princess is one of them.

And that's what we agreed upon. The people who select the weapon can choose what it'll be.
You know the general's will lose the special weapons though. But not till after the first four are found. :3
But a Scythe is fine.

I've added a World Map and will eventually list descriptions of the locations on the map. It's a bit crude and I'm not sure if the letters are difficult to read. Sorry if they are.
