It's actually one chapter, there's ten in all, but right now there's only one posted up, you can read it here
It's a fanfiction I'm writing. The second book is (so far) MUCH better.

Clickie~
BTW Okami, you put any type of Fanfic on that website so you should put your story there.

Here's a story I wrote...about my first RP wolf Midnight. If it's too long I'll take it down but I wrote it for the contest...

Midnight raced through the forest. Behind her, she could hear the rapid footsteps of her pupil, Crescent. He was panting heavily as he tried to keep up with her. “Come on, almost there…” She breathed to him as they ran. Just a little bit more and they would get into the thickest part of the forest where they could most definitely lose their pursuers.
“Please…I need…rest….” Crescent demanded. He was only a pup after all, Midnight couldn’t expect him to be able to keep up with her.
“NO!” She almost screamed at the young brown wolf. “We’re almost there.” If they stopped now, they would surely get caught and killed.
Behind her, Midnight could hear the heavy and clunky footsteps of the humans chasing them.
“What…did we…even…do?” Crescent breathed, (Although it sounded more like wheezing.) he didn’t understand why the humans were chasing them.
Midnight growled. “Who knows? Who cares?” Humans were dumb like that, they always attacked wolves for no reason. “Point is that we need to keep going.” She said as they ran. She was starting to get tired and began to slow down. She attempted to force herself to go faster but ultimately failed. But we’re so close! I’ve forced Crescent so far already…I can’t give up now! She chanted that in her head over and over again to try to force herself to pick up the pace.
Her thoughts were ended when she heard a loud clang and snap and what sounded like cracking sticks. She held her breath, for she was confused of what made the noise. Silence…more and more silence. The silence probably only lasted about a second but it seemed like hours. Then, an ear piercing scream broke the seemingly endless silence that had engulfed the forest. Midnight flinched from the suddenness of the scream, it startled her but what startled her most was recognizing the pain and fear filled scream.
“Crescent!” Midnight screamed, horror filled her voice. Something had happened to her pupil. It’s her duty to protect him with her life. She raced backwards, forgetting about her pursuers and focused on helping the young brown wolf.
“Midnight!” Crescent shouted out. He kept his gaze up and tried not to look at his mangled leg trapped in the steel jaws of a cruel hunter’s trap. He already felt dizzy from the pain and blood loss and he did not to look at the bone sticking out of his leg. Just the thought of it made him want to faint.
Midnight ran towards Crescent and skidded to a halt next to the poor wolf. “Crescent! You’re leg…it’s…it’s…” Midnight didn’t even know how to describe it. It looked terrible. Crescent’s paw was dangling there limply, hanging on only by some skin and muscle. His bone stuck out in a splintery mess with blood dripping off. The trap was clinging onto the skin holding Crescent’s leg together like a cruel animal that had just caught its first meal in months.
Crescent whimpered. “Midnight…help me….” He begged weakly. He was losing energy as fast as he was losing blood.
Midnight looked at the trap. She wasn’t sure how to get Crescent free without ripping his paw off. She took in a deep breath. She knew she had to get him out before the hunters found them. She looked at the jaws of the trap and tried to pry them apart but failed. She tried to gnaw on the chain and see if the trap would break but that didn’t work either.
“Midnight please hurry!” Crescent whined helplessly. He collapsed in pain on the ground and moaned when his leg shifted in the trap causing him even more pain.
“I’m trying!” She whined as she tried even harder to pry the jaws of the trap apart. She froze when she heard loud, clumsy footsteps behind her. The hunters were getting closer. This made her even more frantic in her attempt to free Crescent.
“Midnight leave me!” Crescent ordered. “There’s no hope for me but you can still escape!” Crescent said bravely.
Midnight growled. “Never!” She snarled and started to gnaw furiously on the chain. Her teeth began to crack and her mouth began bleed as she chewed on the chain. The chain showed little to no damage as she attempted to chew it off.
“Midnight!” Crescent shouted from his spot on the ground. “Run now!”
Midnight growled but before she could argue she felt a stinging pain in her tail. She jumped up and turned around and saw two large, male humans standing there with their guns and smiling so evilly.
Midnight growled and stepped over Crescent. She would protect him with her life, whether he died after her or not, she would be the one to die first. She growled at the humans as she stood protectively over the injured pup.
The younger of the humans stepped forward and aimed his gun directly at Midnight. Midnight watched in horror and anger as he tightened his grip on the trigger of the gun. Midnight knew this would be her last moment alive.
Then, the older of the human shouted something in their strange language and pushed the barrel of the gun with his hand. The bullet still fired but at Midnight’s leg instead of her head. She yelped in pain and fell over as the bullet passed through her right leg. Blood seeped out from her wound and dyed her black fur the red color of blood. She looked at the shocked face of the older human and the confused face of the younger human as she lost consciousness from the bullet wounds in her tail and leg.
“Son, you can’t shoot female wolves and pups!”
“No one told me that!”
“You just committed a crime boy!”
“Well what now then?”
“We gotta get out of here, before the others see this.”
“But I think the female is still alive…”
“Well there’s no helping it now, we’ll get caught and fined. Maybe even get our hunting license revoked.”
“Well let’s hurry then!”

Midnight woke in a daze. She had no idea how long she had been out for but her leg and tail hurt like no other. She staggered onto her three good legs and looked over at Crescent. He was also lying on the ground with his leg still in the trap.
“Crescent…” Midnight mumbled groggily. The hunters were gone, they were safe now. “Crescent get up…” She ordered and walked to the other side of the quiet pup. She poked him with her nose but frowned when he did not move. “Sweetie?” She asked, confused on why the pup hadn’t even twitched in response yet.
She lowered her self down and looked closer at Crescent’s face. She noticed he had his eyes open and was staring blankly at the shrubbery ahead of him. “Crescent?” She asked again. She gasped when she saw the bullet that had gone through her leg lodged squarely in Crescent’s head. Blood seeped from the wound and dripped into his cold, lifeless eyes.
“CRESCENT!” Midnight screamed franticly. “Crescent! No! Crescent! Crescent please wake up!” She sobbed as she nudged his corpse. She roared in fury and sadness over the loss of such a young pup. She continued to try to wake him up but ultimately failed. He was dead. She felt as though she was too.
