Here we go with Version 3.0 of the Awards. Split into two catagories: Closed Nomination and Open Nomination. The Closed Nomination Catagories will have special snippets of information put into the "DVD Release" of The Final Chapter.

I'd like to thank Steve Twist, Darson Grays, Maxwell Conners, Roy Chambers, Big Daddy, Unholy Meatpuppet, Killa Kal, and Twilight Tokyo Rose for helping to prepare the list of nominees at some point or another.

Here we go!

(Got bored so I updated with some actual reasons.)

Best Female Wrestler:
Riona Langly - I suppose anyone could have great matches with Azure and Revision, but other than Twilight no other female wrestler did.

Best SF/FS Division Wrestler:
Xunkai - This was a tough choice. The only reason I'm picking Xunkai is because he was totally badass. Simple as that.

Best Hardkore Wrestler:
Bryan Kutterman - Now as much as people want to say this is a no brainer it really isn't. There are some others on this list that could easily take the award too, but Kutterman has defined himself with a Hardcore style and used that to become a ME player.

Best HOSS!:
The Demon - El Diablo > j00

Best JOBBER (We Say This Lovingly...):
Kat - She beat herself in the Civil War. Nothing cooler than that.

Best Heel:
Big Daddy - The supreme heavyweight heel. Not only would he shove it in your face that you sucked, but he would by example as well.

Best Face:
Darson Grays - Despite the whole uprising of undeserved hate on him by the wrestlers the fans loved this man. Not once did they suddenly falter and turn to the other side because it looked better.

Best Pay Per View:
BTWF The Final Chapter - Everything on it isn't just good, it's damn good.

Best Fued:
Steve Twist & Riona Langly vs. Empty Promises - This wasn't just some little feud that went on for a couple of months, this s**t was an all-out war. Probably the longest lasting feud in the BTWF with some absolutely great matches which excelled in story telling and helped the feud along.

Best Tag Team:
High Altitude, Low Operatives (aka. H.A.L.O.) (Irvine Kanyon & Seraph) - Who cares about who held the tag titles longest if they don't jump off of high stuff. H.A.L.O. 4 LYF~!

Best Faction:
Empty Promises (Austin Azure, Xunkai, Revision) - In all honesty these guys put GeNext to shame. Not only were they great in coordination, style, and heelishness, but they also could put on a good match with a broom...or even Edge for that matter.

Most Improved Writer:
Darkfyre - I know both Conners and Kutterman deserve this too, but the reason I picked DF was because of how quickly he has improved. Conners and Kutterman both had a VERY LONG TIME to get their s**t together and become good, but DF has been extremely dedicated and probably one of the fastest improving people I have seen.

Best Wrestler:
Steve Twist - The total package when it comes to promos, matches, and knowing how to work a crowd.

Best Madness Match:
Steve Twist, Riona Langly, and Twilight Tokyo Rose vs. Empty Promises - Maybe I'm biased because it was my so called "Chris Candido Memorial" match, but it was still a damn good one. Lots of stuff going on to further the Twist/Langly vs. EP feud.

Best Madness: Night of Champions Match
Riona Langly vs. Austin Azure (2/3 Falls - MNoC IV) - This match was tight as hell when it came to storytelling and in-ring execution. Arguably one of the best BTWF matches ever.

Best Overlooked Match (aka. Best Match Not Featuring Steve Twist, Darson Grays, or Austin Azure)
Maxwell Conners vs. Stephen Ford (Strap Match - MNoC IV)
The Tiger vs. The Demon (Cage Match - BTWF Eternity)
(Can't decide between those two...) - Both of these matches were damn good in their own ways. The Cage match was probably the best Cage match TT had in my opinion and the Strap match may have been the best match in the Conners/Ford feud.

Best Gimmick Match:
Steve Twist vs. Xunkai (Barbed Wire Ropes - Tournament of Gods II) - It had heat, storytelling, drama, awesome spots, and blood. Lots of ******** blood.

Best Normal Rules Match:
Steve Twist vs. Austin Azure (BTWF: The Final Chapter) - I really do love some of the other matches listed here, but I HAVE to go with this as the best of them. Where this excels even beyond the other rematches (2/3 Falls: Azure/Riona and BWR II) in this feud was how it was the absolute culmination of everything in the feud. 30+ minutes of everything great about Twist/Riona vs. EP wrapped up into one solid match to finally let those who've followed it go home happy.

CLOSED NOMINATIONS

Best Female Wrestler: Riona Langly could throw down. Especially against Azure, so I think she earned this title of best female wrestler.

Best SF/FS Wrestler: I'm going to say Ford, cause that man did not want to let that FS title go. He had a strong title run and he was pretty solid with his matches. I would've said Red, but he didn't win a whole lot.

Best Hardkore Wrestler: Come on? Do I really need to say? Let's just say he's the homie who rocks the skirt. BK, Kutterman, or Burger King as I hear some people say.

Best HOSS!: Jack Frost, cause the dude wasn't really controlled by anyone, but he still had some matches...Apolo gets second place.

Best JOBBER: Kat

Best Heel: Hands down, Big Daddy.

Best Face: Damn, this is a tough one. There's Twist, Heat, and Darson. I'm gonna go with Darson.

Best Pay Per View: BTWF The Final Chapter

Best Fued: I'm going to say Steve Twist vs Omega.

Best Tag Team: Legacy of Destruction

Best Faction: Empty Promises (Austin Azure, Xunkai, Revision)

Most Improved Writer: Darkfyre

Best Wrestler: Steve Twist

Favorite Madness: The Madness where I debuted.

Best Faction/Tag Team Name: Empty Promises

Best Catchphrase: Darson's Crytal Clear

Most Overlooked Wrestler: Darkfyre

Who to Watch In the Future: Not to be conceited, but I have to say me, Killa Kal. Why? Because 05 was a bumpy ride for me. Made the jump from CTC to BTWF, made a nice debut, then lost my net, came back to the BTWF, BTWF closes and then I go to GWA. 06 WILL be the year of Killa Kal. And you can bank on it...b***h. (Yes, had to use a phrase from Edge....what has happened to me...)

BTWF MVP: Twist, Darson, Conners, Ford, BD, and Brian Blade. These men help mold BTWF into what it was.
PostPosted: Thu Jan 19, 2006 11:12 pm

CLOSED NOMINATIONS

Best Female Wrestler: Riona Langly. She had awesome matchs with Azure, and a very cool avi. Plus, she's a great writer.

Best SF/FS Wrestler: My boy, Stephen Ford. He may have had some lame gimmicks or promos, but the man was consistant, and that says something in this fed. So Stephen.

Best Hardkore Wrestler: Oh GOD. Kutterman. That's so friggin obvious it's not even funny.

Best HOSS!: Apollo. No real reason why. He was pretty cool. Plus, Jack Frost wasn't active that much, so yeah.

Best JOBBER: Kat

Best Heel: Big D, with me as a close second. xp

Best Face: Bah, this is a tough one. I'm going to have to say The Heat, just because I felt more entertained by his promos than the others.

Best Pay Per View: BTWF The Final Chapter

Best Fued: Big Daddy vs. Maxwell Conners

Best Tag Team: H.A.L.O

Best Faction: Empty Promises (Austin Azure, Xunkai, Revision)

Most Improved Writer: Seriously, I went from a nothing to one of the better writers in the fed, so of course, the Pinnacle of Perfection gets the nod here. Yes Darkfyre improved, yes Kutterman improved, but my transition goes unnoticed for the fact that I was always in the main event picture and most guys like BD wrote those.

Best Wrestler: Darson Grays

Best Madness Match: Big Daddy vs. Maxwell Conners (No DQ)

Best Madness: Night of Champions Match
Riona Langly vs. Austin Azure (2/3 Falls - MNoC IV)

Best Overlooked Match: Maxwell Conners vs. Stephen Ford (Strap Match - MNoC IV)

Best Gimmick Match:
Civil War

Best Normal Rules Match: Ironman - Big Daddy vs. Darson Grays (fadetoblack 2004)

OPEN NOMINATIONS
Best Gaia Avatars: Darkfyre

Best Dressed Wrestling Avatar: Bryan Kutterman

Best Finisher: Umm...Burning Hammer

Best Finisher Name: My Dimensional Inversion xp

Best Promo Writer: Darson

Best Match Writer: Twist

Best Wrestler Name: Maxwell Conners because it sounds like it could be real dammit. I mean really, what kind of mother would name their kid Brian Blade? In a close second is Yuri Yurieviech...I bet I spelled that wrong

Favorite Not Yours Entrance Theme: Over it

Best Double Team Move: One of GoL's...I don't remember

Best PPV Pictures: Mutual Annhilation

Best Entrances: Voorhees

Favorite Match: Maxwell Conners vs. The Heat (I Quit)

Favorite Non-Yourself Wrestler: Big Daddy

Favorite PPV: BTWF's Projekt Rebirth

Favorite Madness: Night of Champions V

Best Faction/Tag Team Name: Empty Promises

Best Catchphrase: My "Payback isn't a b***h, payback is NECESSARY"

Most Overlooked Wrestler: I would say me, but I was in the main event, despite the fact that I only got good during the end of my run. But in all fairness, I would have to say Darkfyre. He was solid, I give him that.

Who to Watch In the Future: Maxwell Conners in a new fed. A chance to rise up and be what he never was in the BTWF. Don't get me wrong, I love the BTWF, but I blew my chances here. Now, Maxwell is back in CTC and ready for action, so I have to say him. A much more consistant Maxwell who isn't plagued by ******** personal issues

BTWF MVP: Maxwell Conners for creating the BTWF. Brian Blade for taking the BTWF to where it was. Both for putting on two very awesome match ups.

Choose Best Female Wrestler:
None. Twilight Tokyo Rose was never active and I have no idea who the rest are besides Langly and Ravena. I'd choose Riona, but choosing by default is hardly a choice at all. Ravena has been inactive as well, so that choice is out the window.

Best SF/FS Division Wrestler:
Stephen Ford.

Best Hardkore Wrestler:
Kid Chaos. Simply because I've learned to work with him throughout my BTWF career.

Best HOSS!:
Jack Frost.

Best JOBBER (We Say This Lovingly...):
Omitted.

Best Heel:
OOC? Steve Twist. IC? Austin Azure. It's so ironic...

Best Face:
Darson Grays

Best Pay Per View:
BTWF The Final Chapter

Best Feud:
Brian Blade vs. Anthony Voorhees

Best Tag Team:
H.A.L.O.

Best Faction:
Devil's Renaissance

Most Improved Writer:
Killa Kal since I've known him. In a BTWF run I don't have much of an opinion. But since it's closed, I'll go with Voorhees.

Best Wrestler:
Steve Twist

Best Madness Match:
Big Daddy vs Maxwell Conners

Best Madness: Night of Champions Match
Yuri Yurievich vs. Kid Chaos (Dream Blood Gallows of Retribution - MNoC V). I'm only choosing it because it stands as the last time I actually gave 100% of my time at one point. Though I'll tell you I stopped trying to write for a while out of laziness and a busy schedule...

Best Overlooked Match (aka. Best Match Not Featuring Steve Twist, Darson Grays, or Austin Azure):
Maxwell Conners vs. Stephen Ford (Strap Match - MNoC IV)

Best Gimmick Match:
Civil War.

Best Normal Rules Match:
Ironman - Big Daddy vs. Darson Grays (fadetoblack 2004)

OPEN NOMINATION CATAGORIES

Best Gaia Avatars:
Doesn't quite matter.

Best Dressed Wrestling Avatar:
Same with top. Superficiality. Fashion sense. It's all the same word..

Best Finisher:
Hammer and Sickle (Hammerlock Pedigree) or Eastern Moonfall. I've always liked my finishers because I attempted to try something new and workable but still devestating. Though I never really used them..

Best Finisher Name:
Eastern Moonfall

Best Promo Writer:
Big Daddy

Best Match Writer:
Steve Twist

Best Wrestler Name:
Xunkai

Best Entrances:
Anthony Voorhees

Most Overlooked Wrestler:
The Tiger

Who To Watch In The Future: (This is for who you think was just getting their due at the end of the BTWF and will be one to watch in CTC or GWA.)I'm not at liberty to say.

BTWF MVP: (This award is for the person who you feel was the most important controller/player in the BTWF's history.)
I could name the BTWF MDP (Most Destructive Player). But I don't enjoy voting for myself often. Anyone who stayed till the end was of MVP status. Though Blade does deserve this most for putting up with all of the stuff I pulled/said.

CLOSED NOMINATION CATAGORIES

Best Female Wrestler:
Riona Langly, only for the pure fact that she never existed half the time, yet was able to be such a favourite OOC.

Best SF/FS Division Wrestler:
Revision beacuse he had good promos and good matches, which HE wrote. I really felt Xunkai was basically coasting after so long.

Best Hardkore Wrestler:
I would go old school on everyone's a** and say Raymond Kage, but of course, you'd all be mad at me for picking him, since NOBODY has yet. For my real pick, I'll go with a tie, being Kid Chaos and Bryan Kutterman.

Best HOSS!:
Demon since the others really seemed to just be there.

Best JOBBER (We Say This Lovingly...):
If you take part in the ever zany conversations at about 3am between the big wigs, we'd all agree on Kat, for the fact she became such a joke after so long. As for myself, I'd pick Frost, for I saw him win a whole two matches, EVER!!! Seriously, I'll go with FF.

Best Heel:
As egotisical and conceited as I am, this one is going to ME!!! I know that sounds wrong, but when people say that you were the best and you're one of the greatest, it's hard to say no to that. A heads up though to Tony and definatley to the Big O, Omega.

Best Face:
I didn't mind Heat's promos, I would say Maxwell was good, but not the best. Twist was too much of a tweener for me, and I've run out of reasons at this point. I'm going with Darson Grays since he was able to work with me for so long, so that must have helped out huge for him.

Best Pay Per View:
I really liked Eternity 2004 as there was one match that was below three stars on the card, and it was probably one of the last cards I read from top to bottom. I would put TFC but I have still not read it. (take that Rich!!!)

Best Fued:
(three way tie)
Depends on what you are looking for. If you wanted crazy high spotfest gimmick matches, you'd go with Twist/Omega. If you wanted a classic story over a title, you go with BD/Darson. Of course, you could go with longest running, being Maxwell/BD, but I have no real favourite here.

Best Tag Team:
HALO, just because.

Best Faction:
Everytime I saw a faction, I saw it fall apart. I will give no vote for this one.

Most Improved Writer:
This one is tough, but the final reward goes to a tie, being Maxwell Conners and Anthony Voorhees.

Best Wrestler:
Wrestler must mean overall preformer. If so, give it to Darson Grays. He always seem to have a good match, had good promos and he carried the company at one point. I never had the best matches, Twist's promos bored me to tears at times and I don't really have any other bad comments about the others.

Best Madness Match:
Tie, since they were both well done, but yet, had something a little special, despite being for a weekly show.
Big Daddy vs. Maxwell Conners (No-DQ - 8/3/2004)
Steve Twist vs. Rocky

Best Madness: Night of Champions Match
I only read two of these, and if we want effort/time that had to be wasted, go with the Unlucky 13 Gauntlet, but I don't have a definate pick for this one either.

Best Overlooked Match (aka. Best Match Not Featuring Steve Twist, Darson Grays, or Austin Azure)

The Tiger vs. The Demon (Cage Match - BTWF Eternity) because the cage wall got torn down!!!

Best Gimmick Match:
I'm voting HIAC for now, if the TEDM II beats it, I'll replace it.

Best Normal Rules Match:
Ironman - Big Daddy vs. Darson Grays (fadetoblack 2004)

I still feel it should have been a ***** match, but who am I to say? It's also the first and last of it's kind.

OPEN NOMINATION CATAGORIES

Best Gaia Avatars: Twilight, hands down.

Best Dressed Wrestling Avatar: Don't care

Best Finisher: That Shooting Star Elbow drop that Blade does, I can't remember what it's called though..... sweatdrop

Best Finisher Name: Omega Prison

Best Promo Writer: Me, or Dar, acually, make it a tie, me for heels, him for face.

Best Match Writer: Twist, he was always able to pull it out of nowhere.

Best Wrestler Name: Definatley NOT Big Daddy..... I don't know, I never really cared. So Brian Blade.

Favorite Not Yours Entrance Theme: Either God of the Mind (Disturbed) for Chaos Affinity or Blade's Wisconsin Death Trip (Static-X) or Omega's Trooper (Iron Maiden) or Twist's REALLY OLD THEME Disease (Sevendust)

Best Double Team Move: Never really cared.

Best PPV Pictures: Fade to Black, especially the Dar/BD one

Best Entrances: Tony is sure to win, hands down.

Favorite Match: I personally still believe The Ironman match is still the best, as it was one of my favourites to write/read. For it not being me, then possibly the Barbed Wire Rope Match (the first one) or the first TEDM.

Favorite Non-Yourself Wrestler: Can't think of one off the top of my head.....

Favorite PPV: Eternity or MaXimum Carnage (both 2004)

Favorite Madness: that's a tough one, there were so many, yet so few I remember. probably the second NoC.

Best Faction/Tag Team Name: Generation of Legends

Best Catchphrase: I didn't even know more than four people had a catchphrase really.....

Most Overlooked Wrestler: Pohatu. He was crapped on for something stupid and was never really able to shake it off (nor did we never forgive him [Montreal Screw job ring a bell to anyone?] He was a decent promo/match writer and was consistant. If given the chance, he would have made it to the top, but there would have been no other feds at this time.

Who To Watch In The Future: (This is for who you think was just getting their due at the end of the BTWF and will be one to watch in CTC or GWA.) Probably Cral or Kid Chaos, they both look promising to me.

BTWF MVP: (This award is for the person who you feel was the most important controller/player in the BTWF's history.) There are so many picks to choose, so I'll give it to three people.

1. Brian Blade: He basically dropped the hammer on this fed and made it into something worthwhile. I was even told that the fed wouldn't last 3 months, it went nearly 2 years. Congrats for making that happen.

2. Big Daddy (myself): Before I get too conceited, lets get the points out. I was there at the beginning. I basically made (along with Omega) what the typical heel should be like. Although the first few months of matches were not ***** matches, they still made people look again and say 'I can improve too'. People such as Stephen Ford, Maxwell and Omega all improved and they said that was because of me. It also helped that when my title reign happened (the long one) it wasn't with someone who needed to be carried, it was with someone who could carry the company.

3. Steve Twist: Although he was on the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of fanbase and title hunt, him and Omega made a feud that people wanted to see. Even afterwards, he had great matches, and even had a good title run. Also here since the beginning, he really helped carry the company and many other stars to the top as well.
