Other was nervous. So very nervous. She'd never met the parents of someone she was dating before...and...and now she was going to be meeting her future in-laws! For the first time ever! She honestly couldn't tell if it was the baby or nerves that was making her stomach feel funny; it may have been a mixture of both. Would his parents like her? Would her parents like him? Would everyone get along? Her mother wouldn't do anything, she knew she wouldn't, but would her father...god forbid...hit on his mother? Ugh. She really hoped he wouldn't. Just behave one night. That's all she wanted. Siiiigh.

When they arrived at the restaurant Other immediately looked around for her beloved, politely informing the hostess who asked if they needed to be seated that they were with another group who hopefully was already there. They were brought to the table they were looking for and Other's face lit up with excitement; nervous excitement, but excitement nonetheless. There was Val! And his parents! Her own parents were by her side, her mother giving her hand a little squeeze and chuckling. How cute! Other was difficult to make meet new people to begin with, but it must have been absolutely terrifying for her to meet people she was going to be related to soon. Poor girl~.

Other blinked and paused a moment before they were noticed to just look at Val and then his father, suddenly pulling her hand from her mothers to press her fingers to her lips as if that would stop them from hearing her giggles, her other hand resting on her slightly swelling belly. They looked almost exactly alike! And they were both reading their menus and...hahaha! It was so cute! She would happily admit that she hoped she'd get to see something like this with Val and their own child.

Guy and Vionna chuckled at their daughter's behavior, but Guy's chuckling cut short when he caught sight of someone at the table. ******** way. Couldn't be. It was just a coincidence. That wasn't who he thought it was. He didn't know that face. "Hello~! Sorry if we're late!" Other chirped while still giggling, leaning over to press a light kiss to Val's cheek and give him a hug as per their customary greeting. Because, you know, before she spoke up they couldn't possibly have heard her giggling and known she was already there. Nope. Not at all.

Nerves were probably making everything funnier. Nerves and hormones. It was the baby's fault. Totally the baby's fault. "Oh, alright. Glad to hear that!" She honestly had been worried they'd be late by no fault of her parents, but because she'd had to ask her father to stop the car so she could have a moment to just sit and collect herself; she'd felt like she was going to vomit and she really, really didn't want to. She didn't! That's the good news. But she'd still worried they'd be late and she'd be making such an awful first impression! Val stood up and she smiled, though nervousness was still clear in her eyes. Oh, gosh. She really hoped his parents liked her. Though Other was silly to think they'd have any reason to dislike her! She turned to his father when Viktor was introduced, giving him a bright and sincere smile.

"It's very nice to meet you, Mister Star--er...V-Viktor?" Oh dear. What was she supposed to call him? Mister Stark? Viktor? Gah! D-did she shake his hand or could she hug him? They were going to be family now, right? So...maybe a hug? But what if she was wrong about giving him a hug when she should be giving him a handshake? O-oh dear...eh heh...um...for now she'd just settle for slipping her hand into Val's, holding onto it for dear life. She'd never been so nervous before! She turned to Ophelia when she was introduced, giving her the same smile and unconsciously resting her hand against the top of the swell of her belly; her plumping figure couldn't be seen under the dress she was wearing, though her chest was indeed larger than it had been but really the only people to notice that were herself, her mother and...well...Val. But if she really wanted to she could always tug at the back of the dress or just press down on the front of it to show anyone who wanted to see her belly. Other was always proud to show off her growing belly, because it was hers and Val's baby in there! Little Bun~. "It's very nice to meet you as well, Ophelia." It was okay for her to call them by the names they were introduced by, right? R-right? She could do that? She didn't have to call them anything special did she? Ugh, Other! You're stressing out over nothing again! What has Val told you about being silly? "O-oh? Thank you!" Other blushed at Ophelia's sudden and slightly unexpected (to her) compliment, squeezing Val's hand.

"This is my mother, Vionna," Other began as she indicated to the woman standing to her other side. Vionna smiled warmly to the rest of the group, not noticing the way Guy seemed to look slightly worried now that he really did get a good look at the woman at the table as well as heard her voice. s**t, it was her. Not that he disliked her or didn't want to see her again, he definitely had wanted to hook up with her again, but...oh crap. Other was going to kill him. Was Other even capable of such a thing? Probably not. But...!

"It's a pleasure to meet you all. And she's told me so much about you, Val." Vionna chuckled, giving him a knowing glance. Other was always gushing about Val, but she had learned oh so much about their relationship thanks to Other's panicking back in November. Other was about to introduce Guy as well when Ophelia pointed out that she already...knew someone? And she was looking at Guy. Both Other and Vionna turned their stares to Guy; Other's was fairly distraught though she tried her hardest to hide it, Vionna's was slightly exasperated. Seriously, Guy? Seriously? He gave a cough and rubbed at the back of his neck, grinning and laughing softly.

"Heeeey, Ophelia. Good to see you again!" Good to...see her again...? Other's eyes widened and then she covered them, muttering a soft 'Oh my gosh' to herself. He could feel Vionna still staring at him and he averted his gaze from everyone, looking rather sheepish. Way to go and bang your daughter's future mother-in-law, Guy...but in his defense it's not like he knew who she was in regards to Other and her fiancé! "Fancy meeting you here. What a surprise."

While he apparently needed no introduction with Ophelia, Other still had to introduce him to Viktor and Val. "A-and this...is my Daddy, Guy." Other said with a bit of a sigh, lifting her hand from her face to drop it gently onto her belly again. Ugh. Why couldn't she have normal parents who got married and didn't just occasionally break up and see other people? They were 'together' right now, exclusive to each other until they 'broke up' again so it's not like he'd be going home with Ophelia or anything but...but...that was so awkward to know! Generally if a woman knew Guy she knew him for one reason specifically! And considering the way he was acting, which was slightly guilty, it was very clear how Guy and Ophelia knew each other.
