♣Pyry can control ice with ease. He can freeze and bring together water vapor in the air in dire situations, but a supply of water is preferable. An ice/snow machine? Best of all.
♣He has perfected the art of ice sculpting; he uses this skill to create a bow out of ice. He can downplay the ice to the point where it is practically water and more flexible, thought makes ice almost like glass for arrows.
►History◄
For all intents and purposes, the Spirit Realm is a completely different dimension. It is in this dimension that spirits of varying elements live in what is far from peace. War rages frequently between the elements, and occasionally among individual elements as well. The worst of the fighting was between the Water and Ice Spirits, one of the main four elements of being and their respective subspecies. All the fighting, and subsequent deaths, launched the Spirit Realm into disarray. Ice spirits, which were always the rarest of beings, began cropping up more often to accommodate for the losses. However, even after a semi-permanent peace was achieved, the appearance of ice spirits didn't slow. The usually powerful beings were decreasing in power to make up for the numbers, and it wasn't until the last born of the normal spirits absorbed most of these hastily made replacements that the Realm began to settle again. However, fighting nearly started all over again over this particular being that was wanted even by tribes outside of his element. It was then that the young spirit decided to cross the Bridge.
When he was near grown by Spirit standards, about 13 in human years, Pyry left the Spirit Realm for the Human World. He wandered cities and the country alike, taking in everything that the humans had and took for granted. He still has a bit of trouble with electricity, this being on of the things that endears him to Adney. Rye met the Sol brothers on one of his many road trips in the city, having assisted the two after running into one particularly harsh brawl they had gotten into. Beaten and breathing raggedly, the boys struck up a friendship that carried the older boys through their midteens and into their early twenties. Pyry considers the Sols his brothers, and is almost a completely different person around Adney. He looks up to the redheaded man, and is both friendlier and more open when he is around.
Post Time Skip
After finally mustering up the courage to propose for real, Pyry married Mizuki. They have since moved in together and had their first child, a son. He continues to teach at Reed's, and still spends a lot of time with Adney. He insists that his son refers to the Sols as his uncles, as this is the only family the spirit has to offer the child. The spirit keeps a careful eye on his son, not knowing how a half spirit would work. Hopefully, the child will take more after his mother.

Pyry is extremely shy, though he does his best to overcome this. He is very polite, and is what one would call a 'gentleman'. He's a real sweetheart once you get him to open up, and is easily wooed with things like sushi or pet fish. Small talk isn't his strong point, but he does his best to speak up when it comes to his students. He is said to be much more talkative around Adney.
