AIM Log -- Nuxaz & Wu
Majivu & Aluka

The ash colored male frowned as he surveyed his surroundings. He had no idea where he was, then again that wasn’t anything new. Since he had gone out on his quest to find the gods of the elements he had been lost, but that was okay. He was used to it and as long as he could eventually find his way back to his home pride, well that’s all that mattered to him.

He sighed as he looked at the foggy area around him and he shook his head. He had been following this white female wearing some kind of cloth around her neck. Something about her reminded him of his mother and he was determined to find out why. But somewhere along the way he had lost her and now he had no idea what to do.

“This sucks.”

Unlike Majivu, the dark female nearby was quite sure where she was. And she was quite at home, not at all bothered by the mist, even though, along with the night, it seemed a little eerie. She wasn't even startled when sh somehow manage to hear a voice. 'This sucks.' it said. And that was rather amusing, actually. Hardly the kind of thing you expect to hear when you're out patrolling. She smiled, a rogue must be lost around here.

Aluka crouched low, stalking through he mists as quietly as she could. Though in the daylight her colors might stand out against the mist, at night she hid pretty well. It didn't take long for her to locate this new male, having become accustomed to picking out faint shapes, and he wasn't bothering being too stealthy.

As usual, the female couldn't resist the temptation to have a little fun. So she mustered up her 'I'm-a-ghost' voice, and bellowed. "Who goes therrrre?"

He was practically spinning in a circle as he tried to figure out the direction he had come from. Unable to decide if he should go left or right, forward or back he planted himself squarely in his spot. It didn't help that he had managed to get himself into this misty area rather late in the day, it made figuring out direction nearly impossible! And frankly, Maji didn't want to wander endlessly during the night.

Because he wasn't used to the area as the female was he couldn't pick shapes out easily and when she spoke, well he had absolutely no idea where this mystery voice was coming from. He frowned even deeper when the 'voice' tried to be spooky. "Who's there?"

Aluka frowned. She really had to practice her spooky voice. "Come on, you're not even a liiiittle scared?" Despite effectively dropping the farce, the dark female kept up with her pseudoscary voice. It was a little disappointing, really. He could at least sound surprised, or something. Hmph. At least it worked with -cubs-.

...Sometimes. "Well, I think you should answer that first, considering you're the one that is trespassing." Or, wait. "Almost trespassing." She hadn't realized she'd crossed the border. Oh well. Close enough, it's not like she was really trying to chase him off or anything. Aluka paces in a wide circle around him, switching directions every now and then so that he couldn't figure out exactly where she was speaking from.

"Why should I be scared of someone who's too much of a coward to show themselves and who hides behind a mask of fog?" Majivu replied using his best 'manly' voice as he stood a little straighter. Truth was he was a little scared but it wasn't like he was going to show it. If his mother ever found out...well she would be displeased to say the least.

And he couldn't have that, even if y'know she'd probably never find out.

"How am I supposed to know if I'm trespassing or not? You can't even see anything here!" He protested.

"I'm not hiding." She protested stubbornly. "Just building suspense, that's all." Hmph, did this guy not know to have fun? "Then when I jump out and attack, you can be all aaah!" At this point, it was probably quite clear that no actual hostilities would be taking place, but, nonetheless, Aluka kept her fake voice on, in the hopes that he'd be overestimating what she looked like, only to find he was being scared by a smaller female.

That would be hilarious, actually. She almost purred at the idea. "Pfft, just because you're blind isn't a good excuse to trespass." She huffed. He could do something else. Like...sniff, or something. Granted, the scent would be masked by the humidity, too...uh. "Or, well, why are you in here anyway? I mean, if you can't see, who knows if you just walked off a cliff or something!" Granted, there weren't any cliffs around, but it was still a little silly.

"If you aren't hiding then you should have no problem showing yourself to me," he replied a grin forming upon his lips. "Since I'm obviously blind and only you can see," he mocked shaking his head. "Besides who said I was blind? Maybe I just have poor eyesight," he commented with a shrug.

"I was following someone, I think," he pressed his lips together as a fleeting image of the white lioness passed his thoughts. "I can see enough to know I didn't walk off a cliff, I'd be hurt too if I did," he chuckled. "Not very bright are you?"

"Well, what if you are the malevolent rogue sort, and attacked me?" Aluka rolled her eyes. Despite her grandfather being a god, she hadn't inherited much of the size or fighting skill. And he was a little bigish. Maybe he was related to a god too. Or a firekin. Or some other random, large lion. "Well, you're the one that said you couldn't see anything. That sounds blind to me." She shrugged, then scowled at the insult.

"Hey, I am so clever! Just because you haven't walked off a cliff yet doesn't mean you won't." For all he knew, he was standing at the edge of a cliff right now!...Well, okay, he could probably figure he wasn't, since she had circled around him and all, but still. "What's your name, fluffy?"

"But I'm not am I?" He retorted quickly flicking his tail. "If I was I wouldn't be so openly chatting with you. What if you're a malevolent creature waiting to attack me?" He questioned. "Seems we're at a standstill eh?" He was grinning again. "Now, now I never said -I- couldn't see," he replied. It was true he had said "you" so that clearly meant he wasn't talking about himself right?

Yeaaaah.

"There aren't any cliff nearby and I've clearly stopped moving so the likelihood of me doing so is very slim," he told her. "Tell me yours first."

"Stop being so difficult!" Aluke complained, irritated. This silly rogue, just walking over and not playing along with her fun. Well, okay, that wasn't totally true. She was having some fun arguing with him. "And you're the invader, so I think you should give me your name first." She huffed, then, reluctantly, decided to give him some bargaining. "Okay, if you go first, I'll even step out and let you see me. If you don't, I'll just leave you lost here."

Hah! Let's see him argue with that, mr-I-dunno-if-I'm-blind-or-not.
