*Stirs her straw through the orange slush in her cup, sighing lightly* Well, classes aren't going horribly but my grades are slipping.. it doesn't help that I have no idea what I want to do with my life at this point. *Leans forward and takes a sip of her drink* Out of Hogwarts, in university, babysitting on the side, and now pregnant...

It's funny, really. *Stabs at her slushie with her straw* I was just going in for a check-up, Leelee's had a cold and I thought I'd head it off early if I'd come down with it.. they just sort of handed me the paperwork and I could hear Alanis Morissette singing "Ironic" in my head, like some sort of bad movie. *Laughs and tucks her fingers at the corner of her mouth, looking darkly amused* I love children, really I do, but I hadn't thought of having my own for a very long time.

*Chews thoughtfully on her bagel* It really does change things, doesn't it? Every way I look at it, your life is impacted. Your classes will have to be shifted to fit a new, baby-friendly schedule, Leelee's going to have to be taught all about pregnancy and babies, Ron's never going to look at things between you the same way... It's all doable, but it's certainly complicated.
*Smooths her skirt* Doesn't much matter, Ruby, if anyone can juggle motherhood and life, it's you.

I gave up emotions like 'giddy' and 'irrational' when I started working with werewolves. *Smiles and takes Rubella's hand* But really, Ruby, you will be fine. Tell your father, tell Ron, and start adjusting your life. Starting this early and planning ahead will help you a lot. Most people panic for a few months first - you're too level-headed to do that.
