backround- Ann's father abandoned her mother and her when she was in her mother's stomach. Her mother than abandoned her after she was born, leaving her on her aunts door. Her aunt was her last relative, and didn't want to deal with her, so she took her to the orphanage. Ann then got pushed from family to family until she was five. Then she ran away from her foster home and found her first pokemon. From that moment on she knew that she would always be friends with pokemon instead of humans.
