Reynard had been itching for something he could throw himself into lately. Some kind of work he could completely bury himself in; that would be distracting as it was rewarding and fulfilling to his current needs. School seemed to fit perfect, truly there was no one more happy then him to see it starting up again, after the whole coma fiasco which he hadn't been around to be a part of. -and he was none to joyful about that, he enjoyed reading about the city's dramas and constant crisis, they made him giggle inside- And the natural summer vacation, Reed had had it up to here with relaxation and having an overabundance of free time.
It made it so that five minutes before the end bell rang, and the teacher decided to slap them with a massive hair pulling week long project; one that would be sure to take up everyone's weekends as well as extra afters school hours. That Reed found himself near jumping for joy, of course it wouldn't show on his face, but inside he was just beaming. The only downside to the whole assignment was that he'd been partnered with someone.
Reed never liked working with groups, or partners, or anyone but himself really, it always left to chance that you'd be depending on someone else. Trusting them to handle at least half of the work load, and of course when they failed to produce it'd all end up piled on him somehow.
On top of that the project seemed to be tailored to those with more creative talents then actual book learned, hard studied knowledge. Reed didn't lack creativity, so much as the ability to apply it to anything school related, that and ah basic construction skills....
What the hell though..it was fine..He'd suck it up, introduce himself, tell the guy not to worry because he'd handle it all on his own. First though he needed to figure out who this 'Mr. Giovanni' kid was. Ah the tedious downside of being new....having to meet other people.
