Setting:   Tenshi was traveling the world in search for others. She liked to make friends and help those in need. But today she just like exploring the creepy, mist covered forest that she had stumbled upon. She really didn't expect to find anyone here.

 Runaiu was a traveler by heart, born with the desire to always be on the move and now doing as she had always wished. She had been traveling for awhile, having been behind after she had taken on the task of raising a kit awhile ago. Mercury, her adopted son, was older now, and had left to start his own life. Now, Runaiu found herself traveling once more, stumbling upon a rather eerie forest. What had she gotten herself into?

Tenshi was coming from the north heading down a middle path that she had found just before she had entered this creepy place. She would hear an owl cry or a twig break every once and while. You could tell that this forest wasn't anything like a normal one. It seemed almost dead and abandoned.

Runaiu spotted a figure moving, an odd blue aura surrounding the mist covered creature. She was not a coward, but she was also not going anywhere near the glowing creature. Really, who would? She wasn't an idiot, either. Her heart hammered within her chest as the plain colored fox leapt over a stump, her back leg catching against the side and sending her tumbling to the ground. Oh no! She would be eaten for sure! Her eyes flashed open as the female stumbled upright, hastily glancing about to see if she could spot the glowing creature.
No....she had last it.

Tenshi wasn't paying to close attention to things until she heard two loud ish thumps. That made her pause to look around. She held utterly still. She took a gamble by calling out "Hello? Is anyone out there?" Waiting she sat there to see if there was a reply.

Oh, a voice? Runaiu hissed under her breath, ears pulling against her head as she heard a female. Great, here it would go again. The fox would be prettier than her, she would feel inferior, and ultimately her already low self esteem would lessen even more. Higher deity, she hated life.
"No, there isn't." She sarcastically snapped back, annoyed. Why a female? At least with males it didn't hurt to bad... but with females she could only compare herself to them. Only hate herself more. Why? She saw the glowing creature again, freezing inside. "You know, whoever you are, there's this ghost thing walking around, you best be running if you don't want it to eat you." She managed to choke out before growling under her breath in annoyance. 'Yea, talk louder, let it know exactly where you are, fool.'

"Ghost thing?" Tenshi questioned looking around. Her voice came out in a calm uncertain tone. Was this ghost moving just out of her sight but always behind her? "Are you sure?" she asked" I dont see it. Is it above me or something?" Tenshi than got up and moved forward some away from where she was sitting.

She watched as the creature began looking about, watching it get up and move forward. "I think it hears you, it looks like it is looking for someone and just moved. Anyway, how would I know if its near you?" She snipped back, ears moving behind her head. Oh deitys, why had they given her this plain body? Why couldn't she have been born with wings at least? Or something interesting? She had half a mind to just let this fox get eaten, one less beautiful creature in the world, but no, she had a heart. She was not going to just let someone get eaten.
She stepped away from the ghost, leaping on top of the stump she had recently fallen over, and raised her head, frantically waving her paws about. "Hey, wherever you are, come over here. Maybe we can scare the ghost away."

Tenshi followed the other vixens voice saying semi quietly "Yeah ok. We could sneak attack it or something." She kept her ears pinned back and slowly crept towards the sound of the other vixens voice. "You're really nice you know? I think most others would have just ditched"

Nice? Did the female even know how jealous Runaiu was, even though she didn't even know what the female looked like? The figure was approaching, sending shivers down Runaiu's spine. If the female came to close to her, the ghost would surely see her. "No wait, stop. It's moving towards me. Maybe you should just run..." She stopped, something clicking in her head. The figure had moved when she had told the other to, and the voice seemed to be around in that direction. Could it be? Was this ghost really the vixen?
"Hold on a second, wave your paws about."

Tenshi paused "Um sure ok. And I wouldn't leave you." She said before waving her paws around in the air. She was doing it so much she felt very childish and like a dork.

Runaiu watched as paws were flailing, eyes narrowing, The ghost was this vixen! Was it going to trick her? Oh hell no, she was not going to be tricked by some ghost. She was going to die traveling in a heroic way, or die from old age. Probably alone, but who cared anyway? Who needed love? Dammit, this ghost was so in for it.
"Aha! You're the ghost! You can't fool me! I will not die this way!" Runaiu called out, ears flicking as she huffed. This ghost could have ended her already, maybe she was getting ahead of herself?

"Ghost?"Tenshi asked with her ears pinned back not understanding. "Why would you think I'm a ghost? Why would I want to fool you?" there was a questioning tone to her voice. She than looked down at her-self "You mean my aura?"

Runaiu hissed under her breath. Not a ghost? So...an aura? This vixen had an aura? She was already special, even if Runaiu couldn't see her coat yet. She was special and different, she glowed. What did Runaiu do? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. She didn't glow, didn't fly, and didn't look pretty. Another special person...
"An aura?" She leapt from his stump, traveling boldly to the other, however she held her body tense and ready to bolt if the other was lying and really was a ghost. She was from a family of runners, she was sure she could get away fast enough. "Wouldn't that make hunting hard?"

Tenshi nodded "Yes an aura."She spoke calmly as the other vixen approached. "My your fur is very pretty in a casual way. I love it." she told the vixen. "Yes, it makes it very hard to haunt which is why I don't. Its easier for me to catch fish."Tenshi became a little sad "It also makes others think that I assume that I'm better than them sometimes when sometimes I really I wish I could be more plan."
