Hey guys.
So I've been plugging away applying for jobs left and right since I graduated in May.
I figured that since all the high school kids and many college students had to leave their jobs to go back to school I would stand a better chance of getting a job now.
Well low and behold one of the places I applied to (and only a few days ago at that) has responded and asked me to come in for an interview next week.
Unfortunately the job doesn't sound very promising, lucrative, or particularly secure. In case your wondering the job title is: Holiday/Seasonal Receiving/Merchandise Processing Associate, Temporary Part Time, Early Morning.

Well there is the usual that I can spread out for you.
"A job is a job. It'll look good on your resume and get you some cash."
I agree with the part about the resume and cash in that some jobs want you to have previous job experience. As for the cash, you can save it or spend it on bills.

LordKiston You better have a back-up job just in-case. :3 I already do. The problem is that the one I have leaves me $150 shy of paying my basic bills because they cut back on my hours this year.

...Oh yeah. Good luck with the job thing. I still need one of those. e.o
Never look back, and never think twice!

E spiritus Halloween LordKiston You better have a back-up job just in-case. :3 I already do. I hope that the bill companies are giving you at least a little bit of relief or help or something.

Were you trying to get a job based on what you worked on from College? I know that it takes a while (Or longer for some people) to get jobs based on their Degrees cause a lot of companies still don't think these people are "qualified". Seasonal stocking positions like that will sometimes take in 1 or 2 of the seasonal worked in as part or full time.. So if you do take that seasonal job keep your head up and work your a** off to prove your worthy =) Good luck!

I can worry about getting one related to my field of study at some later point in my life. The problem is that no one is hiring, even for things like bus boys or waiters.
